Marce's eyes popped open as if he were shaken awake. He did not move or shift but Ashanti still rolled over and looked at him.
The flickering fire light in her eye sockets casting an ethereal light over their surroundings. He could see the question in her expression as she regarded him.
"What happened. You seem different."
He leaned forward and pressed his lips against hers. She was a lich so her lips were cool still a hot spark ran through his body at their touch. He pulled back and smiled at her, his eyes twinkling.
"The Milana came to me in my dream. Ashanti I have a soul sea." She sat up, her forehead furrowed into a frown, but he did not give her time to reply. He raised his hand and a flame bloomed in his palm followed a small trickle of water surrounding it like a moat.
