"Ah!"
Ju Mengmeng instantly jumped up!
"Hahahaha!!" Laughter erupted recklessly from nearby.
He looked pale as he watched a fellow patient, who had unconsciously drawn close, pointing at him and laughing uproariously, his face beaming wonderfully.
Clearly, Ju Mengmeng's reaction was stronger than he had anticipated.
As Ju Mengmeng's complexion grew increasingly unsightly, the boy across the bed gradually quieted his laughter.
He struggled to suppress his urge to burst out laughing, watching as Ju Mengmeng grew increasingly angry. Gradually, his eyes widened in disbelief, staring at the baby-faced boy across from him and asked, "No way...just a ghost story, and you get this scared?"
In fact, Ju Mengmeng was by no means a timid goody-two-shoes; he had always been bold and reckless since childhood, getting up to all sorts of mischief without much fear. But then again, the fear of the unknown has always been mankind's deepest and most terrifying dread.
