Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 - Knowing my abilities and Wish. (Edited)

After leaving the guild following my conversation with Rose, I started thinking about the next things I would do while walking through the streets of Orario. Fortunately, at first, I wouldn't need money to buy food, as in the house where I 'was born', there were a few supplies left, so I think now I just need to get familiar with the layout of Orario. Mainly the main routes to guilds, the dungeon, and some shops I will need.

After a few hours, I realize it's almost noon, and my stomach is starting to complain, especially because I left home without eating anything. Thankfully, I'm almost home after exploring much of what I needed. Luckily, after asking some people, I managed to get familiar with the routes I need.

Soon, I finally see my small house. Without delay, I open the door, enter, and close it again, heading straight to the small stock of food I have. Fruits, vegetables, bread, and some dried meat. I'm not a picky eater, so this will do.

After a small meal, one of the most necessary parts has come: getting to know my abilities, understanding how each one works, and training to adapt my movements so I won't have any unnecessary accidents when I go to the dungeon.

Heading to the back of my house, I see there's a large vacant lot where a house probably collapsed. Slowly, I sit on the ground and begin to concentrate.

"Well, let's start with my skill, Commander. This is really a great skill. Especially in battles, not panicking and keeping my mind centered will really help me, and as a bonus, having mental resistance against attacks from monsters and mages is perfect.

The second one, Perfect Warrior, is something that will help me mostly in the beginning. Although I had good training with swords and bows in my past life, it's far from perfect and even further from being like the skills of warriors such as Artoria.

Let's see… Queen of Battle, huh… I think this is like Bell's broken ability, but even more overpowered… I really have to thank my goddess.

And finally, the last ability: Heroes' Will. Since I don't feel the knowledge yet and probably don't have the skills either, they will likely come when I summon the weapon of the respective heroic spirit.

And finally, my only magic: Weapons Cemetery…"

Even just saying the name of the magic in my head, I feel my consciousness being drained from me.

When I feel that I'm back, I see that I'm no longer in the vacant lot but instead in what seems like a vast green field. Various flowers decorate it, and around the field, there is a beautiful forest. The place is truly beautiful, but that's not exactly what catches my attention—it's the large collection of weapons floating over this great field.

From afar, I can already spot iconic weapons like Artoria Pendragon's Excalibur, Cú Chulainn's Gáe Bolg, and even Gilgamesh's Ea. Naturally, I quickly make my way over to Ea to see it up close. You can call me immature, but seeing such iconic weapons right there in front of me is truly exciting.

As I get close to Ea, a panel similar to my status screen appears in front of the weapon:

[ Name: Ea ]

[ Original Wielder: Gilgamesh, King of Uruk ]

[ Class: Lance ]

[ Noble Phantasm: Enuma Elish, The Star of Creation That Split Heaven and Earth ]

[ Summon Cost: 100,000,000 SP (Spirit Power) ]

[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 100,000 SP ]

[ Noble Phantasm Cost: 1,000,000,000 SP ]

"My Goddess…" I can't help but think as I see these numbers. One hundred million just to summon, and a billion to use the Noble Phantasm. Sure, it's incredibly powerful, but seeing such a high cost is truly surprising.

However, as I snap out of my thoughts, I see a small light descending from the blue sky and quickly coming toward me. At first, I feel uneasy, but why would something attack me in an ability granted by the goddess? It wouldn't make any sense.

After a few seconds, the small light stops in front of me, and once again, a small status-like screen appears.

[Wishing Star: A final gift is bestowed upon you by the goddess. She wishes you a good life.]

And here I thought that nothing could surprise me anymore. I feel my heart pounding with excitement and gratitude for my goddess in my chest. This is incredibly amazing (?). Even after all she's done for me, she still wants to give me something.

"Hmm... how do I get this gift?" I ask the star. At first I feel silly for asking, but as soon as I finish speaking the star starts to shine brightly, so much so that I have to close my eyes.

After a few seconds, when I see what appears in front of me, my stoic façade is immediately shattered.

"My God…" I say in disbelief as I look at the three items that are floating in front of me. My head is slightly clouded with all the emotions swirling inside it. All of these events really made an impression on me. However, thanks to the Commander's skill, I quickly regain my composure.

Looking at the three items, I see three small screens appearing, one in front of each item. Quickly, I approach the black sword and reach out to grab it. As soon as my hand touches the hilt, I feel a wave of memory being transferred to my mind. Shortly after, dizziness and a slight pain follow. Once I recover, I realize that all the memories and knowledge about the use of the sword have been passed on to me.

Looking at the small screen, I confirm my doubts.

[ Name: La Grondement Du Haine (The Roar of Hatred - Fragmented) 1/5 ]

[ Original Bearer: Jeanne D'arc Alter ]

[ Class: Sword ]

[ Noble Phantasm: La Grondement du Haine - Incomplete ]

[ Summon Cost: 0 ]

[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 0 ]

[ Noble Phantasm Cost: 0 (Uses: 1/1 - Reset Time: 1 Month) ]

Looking at the next screens, I feel really happy.

Above the fully black armor piece, it said:

[ Name: Flammes de Haine (Flames of Hatred - Fragmented) 1/5 ]

[ Class: Armor ]

[ Summon Cost: 0 ]

[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 0 ]

[ Features: Great resistance to fire-related attacks (Altered) ]

And about the lance/flag:

[ Name: La Pucelle (Fragmented) 1/5 ]

[ Original Bearer: Jeanne D'arc Alter ]

[ Class: Lance ]

[ Noble Phantasm: L'Étendard de la Rébellion - Incomplete ]

[ Summon Cost: 0 ]

[ Usage Cost (Per Minute): 0 ]

[ Noble Phantasm Cost: 0 (Uses: 1/1 - Reset Time: 1 Month) ]

Basically, I got all of Jeanne D'Arc Alter's original equipment... this is simply perfect. However, it seems they aren't at full power given the 'fragmented' and 'incomplete' status in the information. I suppose full strength equipment wouldn't be necessary at the start, although in dangerous situations it could be useful, but it's fine.

I quickly decide to test all of this. I take a stance that gives me balance and the strength needed to wield the sword in the most efficient way possible. Then, I begin to execute a series of attacks, focusing on making my movements as fluid and efficient as possible, leaving no openings for enemy strikes and avoiding unnecessary motions.

And I end up doing the same with the lance after receiving the knowledge of how to wield it, just like Jalter's original sword.

I don't know how much time passed, since the sky of the Weapons Cemetery hasn't changed at all, but I get the impression that quite some time has gone by. I finally decide to leave the Weapons Cemetery and soon find myself back in the environment I was in before. The sky is already dark, and the stars shine beautifully. First, I curse myself for my lack of responsibility. I let the excitement and knowledge cloud my judgment and forgot that I was in an open area where I could have had an accident or been attacked.

Fortunately, this place seems to be truly abandoned, and no one came by to check.

Even though I only moved within my magic, I feel fatigue in my body and hunger setting in. I quickly get up and head back to my house.

I wash up, change into other clothes for sleeping, which is now just a long white dress shirt and my underwear. I eat a bit more of my provisions and finally return to my room and lie down. In my view, the day was really productive, but it brought some reflections and plans for tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be the test to join the Loki Familia. I'm somewhat confident that even though my stats are quite average and low compared to other people in this world, I still possess Jeanne's combat skills, so I should be able to get in. And if secondary issues arise, I can go to some other god/goddess that I believe is safe and join them.

Secondly, I feel hesitant about showing my spear, sword and armor to these people. In some ways, it could give me credibility, but it could also draw unnecessary attention.

This is really complicated…

Soon, I feel my consciousness slowly fading, and I am enveloped by the veil of Morpheus.
