After distributing the chakra and setting up his training plan, Seimei looked up at the sky.
The sun was already tilting westward, but there was still plenty of time before nightfall.
Perfect.
Excluding the one million chakra points allocated for enhancing his Byakugan evolution, he still had just over a million points left to use for the day.
Although this was slightly less than usual, the intense overload test from the day before had left him in a less-than-peak condition.
That actually worked out just fine.
With this in mind, Seimei raised his hand and activated the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Poof!
A thick cloud of chakra-infused smoke spread out as dozens of identical figures appeared.
He quickly divided these clones into eight groups, assigning them to train in different techniques: Flying Thunder God Jutsu, Izanagi, Izanami, Genjutsu: Darkness Technique, Nirvana Temple Technique, Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change, Transcription Seal, and Universal Sealing.
The number of clones in each group depended on the difficulty of the technique and the amount of chakra required. Harder techniques with greater chakra demands received more clones, while easier techniques required fewer.
Seimei had already developed his own standard for these allocations, ensuring minimal chakra waste while maximizing skill proficiency gains.
Time passed second by second.
Before he knew it, night had fallen.
Exhausted from the final round of training, Seimei could no longer hold on. He stumbled back to the wooden hut on the island and collapsed onto his bed, falling asleep instantly.
This time, he didn't completely shut off his awareness of external dangers, so he didn't bother using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu to teleport all the way back to Konoha.
The night passed uneventfully—no sudden ambushes, no dramatic incidents. Seimei slept soundly.
### Early Morning
At the break of dawn, before the sun had even risen, Seimei's eyes snapped open.
Sitting up, he stretched deeply, feeling most of his accumulated fatigue melt away. His body was re-energized, his mind sharp and alert.
After a quick wash, he grabbed a few military ration pills to fill his stomach. Then, the first thing he did was retrieve the metal sphere containing the sealed Seven-Tails.
Extending his spiritual perception into the sphere, he found no surprises—after a full day of recovery, the Seven-Tails had returned to peak condition.
Two days in a row with the same result—this completely reassured Seimei.
Next, he turned his attention to the alternate space created by Universal Sealing. Over time, it had quietly accumulated a significant amount of chakra.
This was all drawn automatically from his body while he slept.
Of course, he had set restrictions on the process—it only extracted excess chakra beyond his natural capacity.
In the past, to avoid wasting even a single drop of chakra, he had to either limit his body's natural recovery rate before bed or precisely calculate how much chakra he would regenerate overnight and use it up in advance to make space.
But this method was both tedious and risky, as it reduced his ability to react to unexpected dangers.
Now, with the alternate space acting as a chakra reservoir, he could stay in peak condition at all times, ensuring he was always battle-ready.
As for training, he could simply draw chakra directly from the reservoir.
This newfound flexibility made things much more convenient.
For instance, if he had to take on high-difficulty missions that required his physical presence, he wouldn't have to worry about chakra conservation anymore. The only minor setback was that techniques like Palm Sage Jutsu and Reflection Heart Jutsu, which required his real body to practice, would progress a little slower.
Even so, he could still store chakra in advance for them, minimizing his losses.
With these thoughts passing through his mind, Seimei refocused and activated Chakra Absorption Jutsu, siphoning chakra from the Seven-Tails.
Eight minutes later, he had extracted 500,000 chakra points.
Looking at the now-drained Seven-Tails, which had once again fallen into a weakened state, he paused the absorption technique.
Then, stepping outside, he swiftly climbed onto a massive rock.
Without wasting time, he activated Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu once more.
Poof!
Dozens of clones materialized.
As usual, he assigned them to their respective training regimens before sending them off.
With his clones occupied, Seimei shifted into his own training—cycling between Palm Sage Jutsu and Reflection Heart Jutsu.
As he practiced, he could clearly feel his Sharingan and body advancing.
The former was closing in on its maximum threshold: (50,000/50,000).
The latter was steadily approaching the critical point for physical transformation.
An hour passed in the blink of an eye.
Seimei opened his eyes and, with a single thought, dispelled his clones, absorbing all their accumulated experiences.
A flood of memories and insights crashed into his mind.
Familiar waves of dizziness struck, but he gritted his teeth, pushing through the discomfort as he quickly organized and converted the experiences into skill mastery.
Previously, this process took about fifteen minutes.
But now, with high-level techniques like Izanagi, Izanami, and several others added to his routine, the time required to digest all the new information had lengthened.
It took a full thirty minutes before he could finally open his eyes again.
Rubbing his temples to ease the lingering strain, he took a short break, ate a few more ration pills, and then activated Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu once again, summoning another batch of clones for the next round of training.
And so, round after round, the cycle continued until nightfall.
Aside from taking a slightly longer break around noon while absorbing more chakra from the Seven-Tails, he spent nearly the entire day training.
There was no doubt—this was an incredibly monotonous and exhausting routine.
But Seimei had an edge: his proficiency panel.
Being able to see the exact progress of his skills after every session kept him motivated. Without it, he probably wouldn't have lasted this long.
In fact, most people wouldn't.
For the majority, the most demoralizing thing about training is putting in the effort without seeing any immediate results. That cycle of repeated disappointment often leads people to give up.
But Seimei believed that if everyone could directly see the tangible results of their hard work, then—even if not everyone persisted—at least 90% would push themselves further.
Unfortunately, the idea of "hard work equals results" was easier said than done. No one else could quantify their progress like he could.
With that thought, he refocused, shifting his attention to his Byakugan.
After a full day of training, he had successfully completed his planned practice for all his techniques.
Now, it was time to evolve his Byakugan.
