Watching the two Hun Clan elders depart into the distance, Mang Tianchi let out a cold snort before turning to Mo Yu. "Are you two alright?" he asked.

Lei Fei'er shook her head slightly, while Mo Yu hesitated for a moment before asking softly, "Dean, do you know where Xiao Yixian and the others are now?"

"They left three months after you entered the Heavenly Tomb. I believe they returned to Yuan Manor, but they didn't specify why. They only mentioned that if you returned, you should head back to Yuan Manor as soon as possible," Mang Tianchi said thoughtfully.

Hearing this, Mo Yu frowned slightly but nodded.

Seeing this, Mang Tianchi hesitated briefly before asking, "Mo Yu, did you inherit Lei Zhen's legacy?"

Mo Yu was momentarily stunned but then nodded. "Yes. I didn't let the clan down. I successfully found Lei Zhen's tomb within the Heavenly Tomb. He recognized my potential and passed his legacy to me."

"No wonder your strength has grown so rapidly..." Mang Tianchi nodded, but his expression soon grew solemn. "If possible, I hope you can remain in the Lei Realm and focus on cultivation until you reach the Sheng realm.

"You possess a divine-grade bloodline that the Lei Clan hasn't seen in millennia, and you've received Lei Zhen's recognition. The entire Lei Clan doesn't want to see you in danger."

"Stay in the Lei Realm until I break through to the Sheng realm..." Mo Yu murmured, frowning slightly.

Even with his talents, reaching the Sheng realm wouldn't be easy. Moreover, Xiao Yixian and the others had returned to Yuan Manor in such haste, clearly due to something urgent. How could he hide away in the Lei Realm?

"Dean, what's going on? Why are you asking me to stay in the Lei Realm?" Mo Yu asked seriously.

Mang Tianchi's expression darkened slightly before he sighed. "The Ling Realm has suddenly closed."

"The Ling Realm? It closed?" Both Xiao Yu and Lei Fei'er were startled. Lei Fei'er's face instantly grew tense.

"The Ling Clan?" Xiao Yu asked in confusion, prompting Mo Yu to explain.

"The Ling Realm likely refers to the dimension belonging to the Ling Clan, one of the ancient eight clans."

"Why would the Ling Realm suddenly close? No wonder the Ling Clan didn't send anyone to the Heavenly Tomb this time," Lei Fei'er said, her brows furrowed.

"We don't know. We sent strong individuals to investigate, but there's no news. The space where the Ling Realm used to be has completely vanished. Even the clan elders couldn't detect anything. It's as if the Ling Realm has been completely hidden," Mang Tianchi said, clearly baffled by the strange development.

"Sealing off an entire space and hiding it... They wouldn't do this unless they were facing an unprecedented crisis. Could the Ling Clan have encountered something catastrophic?" Lei Fei'er murmured.

"We're unsure. Although the Ling Clan has shown signs of decline in recent years and rarely interacts with us, their foundation is still incredibly deep. For someone to force them into this situation, not even the other Ancient Clans could achieve it easily."

Mang Tianchi's brows furrowed with worry. "All the major clans, including the Lei Clan, are investigating this matter. If the Ling Clan is indeed facing a disaster, we must remain vigilant.

"That's why I believe you should stay in the Lei Realm, Mo Yu. Your situation is critical, and many forces have their eyes on you. The Lei Realm is the safest place for you right now."

Lei Fei'er bit her lip, her face filled with concern as she gazed at Mo Yu. This was the first time she'd heard of an ancient clan sealing its entire dimension and disappearing.

"Husband, since the current situation is uncertain, perhaps it's best to stay in the Lei Realm. With my father overseeing it, it's the safest place," Lei Fei'er advised.

Mo Yu's brows furrowed deeply before he slowly shook his head.

He had a rough idea of the Ling Clan's fate. If his suspicions were correct, the Ling Clan had likely been annihilated, their Dou Di bloodline devoured by the Hun Clan.

This also signaled that the Hun Clan had begun their plans. The Ling Clan wouldn't be the first Ancient Clan to fall, nor would they be the last.

Even the seemingly safe Lei Clan had likely been infiltrated by the Hun Clan. Otherwise, how could the theft of the Tuo She Ancient Emperor Jade occur in the original timeline?

Therefore, staying in the Lei Realm wouldn't guarantee safety. If the Hun Clan truly wanted him dead, they would stop at nothing. In that case, why hide?

Furthermore, the Hun Clan's secretive destruction of the Ling Clan indicated their plans weren't complete yet. For now, they wouldn't openly clash with the Lei Clan.

With this in mind, Mo Yu cupped his hands and said, "Apologies, Dean. I still have matters to attend to at Yuan Manor, so I can't stay in the Lei Realm."

"Sigh, I knew you wouldn't agree to hide away," Mang Tianchi sighed before handing an ancient jade to Mo Yu.

"Even though there are Ban Sheng experts at Yuan Manor, their strength is still limited. If you're in danger, crush this jade, and I'll come immediately."

Mo Yu was momentarily stunned but soon felt touched. He cupped his hands and said, "Thank you, Dean."

"No need for thanks. You're not just the Lei Clan's divine-grade bloodline; you're also a student of Jia Nan Academy. I won't stand by and do nothing," Mang Tianchi said with a smile.

Mo Yu tucked the jade away before turning to Lei Fei'er. "I'm heading to Yuan Manor. Will you return to the Lei Realm or come with me?"

Lei Fei'er hesitated briefly, but Mang Tianchi interjected. "Fei'er, it's best you return to the Lei Realm. These are tumultuous times, and the Patriach won't allow you to wander freely."

Hearing Mang Tianchi's words, Lei Fei'er reluctantly nodded. She gazed at Mo Yu with concern and said, "Husband, please be careful. Your enmity with the Hun Clan grows deeper by the day. They might send a true powerhouse after you at any time."

"Don't worry," Mo Yu said with a smile.

After giving her instructions, Lei Fei'er turned to Xiao Yu and hesitated for a moment before softly saying, "Sister Xiao Yu, please take care of our husband."

Xiao Yu was momentarily surprised but then smiled warmly. Lei Fei'er's attitude had changed noticeably during their time in the Heavenly Tomb, and Xiao Yu felt genuinely happy.

"Don't worry, Sister Fei'er. I'll take good care of our husband," Xiao Yu said, holding Lei Fei'er's hand with a gentle laugh.

Mang Tianchi, seeing the harmonious interaction between Lei Fei'er and Xiao Yu, couldn't help but show a hint of astonishment on his face.

Mo Yu also chuckled and shook his head. After exchanging a few more words with Lei Fei'er and Mang Tianchi, he bid farewell to Xiao Yan and Xun'er and embarked on the journey back to the Western Region with Xiao Yu.

At the heart of the Ancient Sacred City, the clear waters of a pristine lake sparkled under the sunlight, reflecting dazzling beams of light.

Suddenly, the serene lake surface rippled violently, and a massive spatial rift began to slowly tear open in midair.

When the spatial rift appeared, figures quickly emerged from within, landing on the surrounding ground. The previously quiet city instantly bustled with activity.

Mo Yu and Xiao Yu stepped out of the spatial rift, their figures appearing atop a building.

"Next, let's head straight back to Yuan Manor," Mo Yu said decisively. Without lingering, he pulled out a map to determine the direction. Then, grabbing Xiao Yu's hand, the two transformed into streaks of light, speeding westward like lightning. In the blink of an eye, they vanished into the distant horizon.

Yuan City was peaceful and harmonious. Although it couldn't rival the vastness of the Thunder Realm, it was a massive city nonetheless. Even with a population of several million, it didn't feel crowded.

On spacious training grounds within the city, Yuan Manor disciples trained in neat formations, their robust shouts merging together like rolling thunder that echoed through the air.

Compared to the past, Yuan City now felt entirely renewed. Strong auras emanated throughout the city, permeating every corner and giving it the appearance of an impregnable fortress.

Suddenly, two streaks of light broke through the tranquil atmosphere of Yuan City. With overwhelming momentum, they shot straight toward the central tower of the city.

"Who dares to intrude in Yuan City?"

As the two streaks appeared, angry shouts echoed in the sky. Accompanied by sharp sounds, several elderly figures swiftly rose into the air, hovering in formation. With a loud, synchronized roar of "Seal!" nearly ten elders caused the space in the sky to rapidly solidify.

However, just as everyone thought the intruding figures would be stopped, they were shocked to see the streaks of light speed up instead. Without any hindrance, the streaks tore through the sealed space like phantoms and appeared behind the elders.

"Heh, it's been nearly a year since I last returned, and the city's defenses have become this formidable," Mo Yu said with a light laugh.

Under the watchful gazes of the elders, Mo Yu and Xiao Yu finally revealed themselves—a silver-eyed youth and a tall, elegant woman with long, slender legs.

"Manor Lord, Mistress!"

The moment Mo Yu spoke, the elderly figures froze before crying out in surprise and joy.

Though some of the newly appointed elders had never met Mo Yu in person, his portrait was everywhere, as he was the head of Yuan Manor. Recognizing him was not difficult.

The surprised cries quickly spread, and the disciples below were stunned. Their gazes shifted to Mo Yu and Xiao Yu, some filled with awe, others with disbelief.

"As expected, Manor Lord looks just like his portrait, so young and approachable—like the boy next door!"

"Yeah, and he's so handsome!"

"Stop daydreaming. Someone like Manor Lord wouldn't spare us a glance. But the Mistress is stunning; no wonder she's worthy of him."

"Welcome back, Manor Master and Mistress!"

Among the elders, a figure stepped forward. It was an elder from the Dongfang Clan, who had joined Yuan Manor as a Dou Zun after the Western Alliance was eradicated.

"Elder Dongfang, you're too kind," Mo Yu replied with a smile, his eyes sweeping over the city below. A trace of admiration flickered in his gaze.

In just one year, Yuan Manor had undergone incredible changes. With so many powerful figures guarding the city, even the Soul Hall would hesitate to attack lightly.

Judging from the auras he sensed on the surface, Yuan Manor's strength was now comparable to, if not surpassing, sects like Tian Ming Sect or Flower Sect.

"Finally back, are we?"

As Mo Yu surveyed the city, the space behind him rippled. A scholarly figure emerged—it was none other than She Lao.

"She Lao!"

Mo Yu quickly greeted the elder with a respectful bow.

"Greetings, Grand Elder!"

The other elders also bowed in reverence. Although She Lao rarely appeared, his presence was always shrouded in mystery. As the Grand Elder of Yuan Manor and a Ban Sheng expert, his status was second only to Mo Yu himself.

"Grand Elder? You brat, stop using that title to push responsibilities onto me," She Lao chuckled, shaking his head. He waved dismissively at the other elders, his gaze landing on Mo Yu. A satisfied expression appeared on his face as he observed him, but when his eyes shifted to Xiao Yu, surprise flickered across his features.

"A three-star Dou Zun? Xiao Yu, you—"

She Lao's shock was evident. While Mo Yu's progress was within his expectations, Xiao Yu's transformation caught him entirely off guard.

"Heh, Xiao Yu has restored her bloodline," Mo Yu explained briefly, avoiding too much detail due to the crowd.

Realization dawned on She Lao, and his surprise gradually faded. He nodded knowingly. For a Ban Sheng, the existence of Dou Di bloodlines wasn't a mystery. Being aware of Xiao Yu's clan background, She Lao quickly connected the dots.

"Come on, let's head down. I've been waiting quite some time for your return," She Lao said after offering Xiao Yu a few words of praise.

Mo Yu nodded but then frowned slightly as he scanned the surroundings. "She Lao, hasn't Xiao Yixian returned yet?"

"She came back but left again," She Lao replied.

"Left? Where did she go?" Mo Yu asked, startled.

She Lao's face grew serious. "That's precisely why I've been waiting for you. Not long after you entered the Heavenly Tomb, we received intelligence and had Xiao Yixian rush back. Afterward, she left for the Serpent Empire."

"The Serpent Empire?" Mo Yu murmured. The familiar name made him pause, but in the next instant, his expression shifted.

"Is Cai Lin in trouble?"
