USNS William McLean
June 21, 1942
2:00 PM
Shinano slowly opened her eyes as she regained consciousness. The place she woke up to was similar yet different. The entire place was all white, from the walls and ceiling to the tiled floor. She then sat up, quickly grabbing her right shoulder as it ached.
Her injured right shoulder was patched up, and she wasn't wearing her Kimono but patient clothing or a hospital gown. The other beds were filled with injured girls, most of them Destroyers. They chatted about her as they glanced her way.
"Oh, you're finally awake," an unknown voice spoke. She quickly looked in the voice's direction and saw another person wearing the same clothing as her, next to her with only one bed separating them.
"Don't do anything stupid, or the Doctor (Vestal) will beat you," she said.
Shinano slowly nodded. "The way you talk.... You must be an Eagle Union Shipgirl?"
"That's right, partner. I'm Texas of the Eagle Union," Texas said with a southern accent.
"Shinano, that's my name.... Where are we then?" Shinano asked as she tried to remember what happened when she passed out.
"Oh... Don't worry. We've been taken care of at the infirmary of one of the Modern Kansen's Ships, his name is William," Texas said to reassure Shinano's concerns about her whereabouts.
Shinano murmured, "William?" she then asked. "Is he the Doctor? I've heard his name back then from Musashi Nee-san."
"Yes and No. He is capable as a Doctor, but he really hates being called one," Texas explained.
"Why?" Shinano asked, curious.
Texas just shrugged it off. "I don't know."
"How did I get in here...? The last time I remember, I was fighting someone who looked like an Eagle Union Carrier..."
"Oh, you mean Essex? She's the one who brought you here. She was so worried about you dying that she almost yelled and pleaded with William to do his best to not let you die," Texas said.
"So, she's the one who brought me here.... Where is she then?"
"She's back at the battlefield," Texas casually said.
The doors then opened as William entered the room holding a clipboard with a cigar in his mouth. He stopped in front of Texas's bed and said, "Your injuries are minimal. So, you're free to leave the infirmary."
Texas cheered as she hopped off the bed. "Yeehaww! Finally, I can get the hell out of this place. I really hate being regulated by someone else."
Texas had tried to smoke inside the infirmary, but every time she tried, the Nurse Manjuu confiscated it and pointed at the 'No Smoking' sign. She then tried to smoke outside, but injured patients were not allowed to leave the infirmary yet.
And then there was William, just entering the Ship's Infirmary with a cigar in his mouth. The dude would smoke anywhere he wanted, except if Vestal is present.
"Your Ship is currently docked outside beside my Ship. Vestal still hasn't fixed all of the Range Finders and your Ballistic Calculators for the Guns." William informed her.
"Yeah, Yeah... I just have to do it with good old iron-sight targeting," She said as she started to take off her Hospital gown in front of everyone.
The Girls or Destroyers closed or covered their eyes as they saw Texas just casually change clothes to her Wild West clothing without any care.
William did not pay any attention to Texas as his attention was instead focused on Shinano. Their eyes met as they both observed each other by looking at each other.
William was the first one to speak. He cleared his throat and said, "You're lucky. You only received second-degree burns and a few broken bones. Within two or three weeks, it will heal and leave without burn marks and scars. This is the medicine you need to take for the injuries and burns to heal."
He handed her a paper bag containing the medicines for her injuries and the doctor's prescription.
Shinano slowly took the Paper bag and was about to ask, but William spoke first. "About the bills... Essex already paid them. So, you don't have to worry about it." He then smiled at her.
Shinano survived the Missile strike from Essex-12, and now she was facing the only menace in American society: 'The American Health Care System.' No amount of bank savings was going to save Shinano from this kind of fucking Healthcare.
Thankfully, it had already been paid.
Shinano was confused as to why her opponent put her in the hospital and paid the bills herself. "Why would she do that?"
William shrugged. "I dunno... maybe ask her yourself."
Texas emerged out of the Cargo Ship's superstructure, overlooking the various ships docked at USNS William McLean's starboard side, like Destroyers and Light Cruisers. At the port side was her ship being docked and repaired by Manjuus.
IJN Shinano was moored right next to USS Vestal as the team of Manjuus extinguished the small fires onboard. They were equipped with modern Firefighting Gears.
"Sorry about that, baby... I'm not gonna let that happen again next time," She said to her Battleship as she looked at it from the Cargo Ship's railing.
The Safe Zone that was designated by Enterprise-80 was filled with damaged and resupplying Warships. A Temporary Floating Pier had been hastily constructed by Manjuus within a Day. Bigger Warships anchored right next to the island atoll, while smaller Warships anchored at the Temporary Floating Pier.
Cruisers and Destroyers patrolled the area for any underwater intrusion. Above, a squadron of F/A-25 Hellcats flew to provide Air-Cover at the designated Safe Zone.
~Back to the Battlefield~
~Several hours back~
After Musashi heard a large explosion, she looked in the direction of the explosion. She saw her Sister Shinano emerge from the smoke with injuries and burns. She stood frozen as she watched her Sister fall onto the surface of the ocean unconscious and injured.
In pure rage, she gritted her teeth, and tears fell from her eyes as she screamed her Sister's name. She then released a rogue Purple Lightnings in any direction without noticing whose friend or foe was in the vicinity of its Strike.
The Purple Lightnings spread in any general direction, as both sides avoided the rogue Lightning Strikes. The whole battlefield was in chaos, but the rogue lightning made it even worse as Lightning Strikes flashed here and there.
"Hood, watch out!"
Lucas carried Hood out of the way of where the Lightning struck, as his Aegis Combat System predicted all the lightning targets.
'Oh, dear....' Hood muttered as she was carried like that in an unexpected way at her rescue.
Lucas cursed. "Shit! She's gone wild!"
"I've never seen her furious state before. She's always calm every time she enters the battlefield. But now, this is different," Hood observed.
Hood was carried in a bridal way by him. She tapped Lucas's shoulder to tell him to let her down. "Umm... Sir Lucas, you can put me down now while I still have some composure left. I appreciate your help."
Lucas looked at her and realized. "Oops, my bad." He then slowly lowered her down.
"Thank you," She said as she was lowered down gently.
Musashi was throwing lightning strikes in any general direction. Everyone in Azur Lane and the Sakuran Shipgirls dodged the rogue Purple Lightnings that fell upon them.
"Oh! Come on!" Saratoga exclaimed as she almost got hit again for the second time.
Hibiki ran around as her tail caught fire from a rogue Lightning Strikes. She screamed as she circled around.
Musashi then shifted her attention to them, her eyes full of fury as she wanted revenge for her Sister. "You'll pay for this!" she yelled at them as she pointed her Odachi at them, her eyes full of fury.
Hood opened fire with her 15-inch Main Gun. Lucas also fired his MK-45 Naval Gun and various caliber guns at Musashi to not let her get closer to them as they retreated.
Lucas yelled into the comms, "I need a God damn sword! If anyone has a spare sword for the love of God!" He had been pleading for a sword ever since he faced off against Musashi.
"You can use Repulse's Sword; she's been hit and couldn't fight right now. So, we need to retreat," Renown said as she gave him Repulse's sword.
"Return it will yah..." Repulse said with a weak voice. They then both sailed toward the Safe Zone as Repulse was assisted by her sister Renown.
"Do you know how to use a sword?" Hood asked curiously as she saw how Lucas held the sword wrongly.
"No. but I only just need this to block her massive Katana, to create an opening," Lucas said as his eyes were fixated on Musashi's Odachi.
Hood nodded. "Be careful. I have a bad feeling about that.... massive sword." She warned.
"Alright. Provide me artillery support as I face her," Lucas ordered as he lunged toward Musashi with sword and guns at the ready.
"Understood," Hood said as she prepared her four turrets and main guns to provide artillery support. Hood then proceeded to rain down shells at her opponent. Musashi used her Odachi to cut through the incoming shell from Hood.
Lucas used the opportunity to strike. Musashi noticed him with the help of her Kitsune abilities, and she prepared an upward slash.
Lucas, with his Aegis Combat System, blocked with Repulse's Sword. As the two Swords met, it created a massive shockwave in the air and water.
'Shit, I forgot that I'm facing a Battleship. She has more horsepower than me,' Lucas thought as his hands shook from the force that Musashi released in one slash. He then pointed his M27 IAR at her and started firing it at her.
Musashi noticed this attack and jumped back to avoid getting hit. This unpredictable move surprised her. She assumed that Eagle Union Shipgirls were inept at using swords; their only preferred weapon of choice was guns. But he proved the Sakuran predicament wrong.
"I didn't know you were proficient in using a sword. I thought Eagle Union Shipgirls were inept at using swords, but.... There you are," Musashi praised him.
"You see.... Lady Musashi. The US Military always has a doctrine of always showing up in the battlefield always late and improvised.... A lot of times," Lucas said.
"Ah, I see...."
Lucas then detected something going ballistic on his radar. He then moved out of the way as plumes of water exploded in the location he was recently in.
"Shit, those are 15-inch shells!" He exclaimed in surprise as Hood sailed towards him to give assistance.
"Looks like we've got company," Hood said as her guns were pointing in the direction where the 15-inch shells came from.
"Lady Musashi, are you alright?" Ise asked in a worrying tone in her voice.
Both Ise and Hyuuga sailed toward Musashi as they escorted Kashino.
Kashino was the Sakura Empire's Munition Ship; she held any munition from any caliber for every Shipgirl. And by the look of her buoyance, she can carry a lot.
"Lady Musashi, are you alright?" Hyuuga asked.
"Gomen'nasai, Lady Musashi, we got here too late. We got ourselves busy dealing with Azur Lane Shipgirls blocking the routes we were currently using," Ise reported.
"Gomen'nasai, Lady Musashi-sama. It took me a long time to get here with your fresh munition," Kashino said while panting. Her slow speed meant she couldn't move much faster than the slow-moving Pre-Dreadnoughts.
"It's alright, Kashino-san, you did your job well...." Musashi said as she started being loaded by Kashino with fresh ammunition.
"This is all the 18-Inch Shells left, as all of our Ammunition Storage are destroyed," Kashino said as she reloaded the three Main Turrets of Musashi.
"I see... they hit our Ammunition Depot to deplete our remaining ammunition in this battle. Damn it," Musashi cursed under her breath.
Musashi didn't expect Enterprise-80 would attack their Supply Munition. Many in the Higher-Ups thought the Battle that would occur would be Shipgirl to Shipgirl in a Battle line.
But the Modern Kansen used Modern Tactics of hitting the means of fighting capability of their enemies. The loss of the Supply lines of the Empire meant they couldn't fight for very long and would be cornered at their shores without any means of fighting back.
'Shit, this is bad. I'm out of Anti-Ship Missiles; the only missiles left are SM-2 and ESSM's,' Lucas thought.
Lucas used most of his Tomahawks to Sink the Siren Ships that escorted Orochi. Now, he was left with Anti-Air and Anti-Ballistic Missiles in his VLS Canisters.
He glanced to his side and asked Hood, "Hood. How's your ammo?"
Hood checked her remaining ammo. "Half of my 15-inch shells are half depleted; my secondaries have plenty more ammo left. If this continues... I will be out of ammo within an hour."
"Is everyone alright?" Illustrious asked as she sailed towards them. Her white Dress was almost burned, with a few scratches and charcoal all over her skin and face.
"Yes, we're alright. How about you... Illustrious?" Lucas asked.
"I'm alright, just a few scratches and burned clothes... my planes are only down to 20 Planes..." Illustrious said with a little bit of glimmer of hope in her voice.
"Alright then." Lucas then contacted Enterprise-80 for Air-support. "Ma'am, I need a couple of Hornets armed with Anti-Ship Bombs."
"No need. I've already sent a couple of Hornets in your direction as I saw your dire situation with my loitering drone above," Enterprise-80 said through the comms.
"Copy that, Ma'am." He then cut the transmission and looked at the two and spoke. "Alright... Illustrious, provide both me and Hood with Air-Cover."
"As your orders, Sir Lucas," Illustrious said and gave a little bow.
"Hood, provide me with artillery support as I get closer to Musashi. After that, you two have to keep those two Battleships busy," He pointed at Ise and Hyuuga. "until Enterprise's Hornets arrive."
"Understood." Both Hood and Illustrious complied.
"Alright. Let's go!"
Lucas then accelerated his speed towards Musashi at his maximum speed of 30 knots, as his last-ditch effort of surprise.
"I won't let you go near her!" Both Ise and Hyuuga remarked as they both drew their Naginata at him.
They both failed to stop him as they were being shelled upon by Hood's Main-guns and strafed by Illustrious's planes.
Lucas passed through them at his max speed. "Sorry ladies, maybe next time," He said as he headed straight towards Musashi at full speed. He screamed his battle cry as he charged forward, Rifle and Sword in hand.
"It's all done, Lady Musashi," Kashino said as she finished transferring ammo to Musashi's Rigging. She then started to back off a bit to give Musashi room to fight.
"Arigato, Kashino-san," Musashi said as she readied her Odachi while it crackled with purple lightning.
She then prepared for a sword stance as Lucas dashed towards her. The two Swords clashed, as metal sparks flew as the two metals contacted each other, and a loud sonic boom reverberated at their Swords' clashes.
It was then followed by a massive rippling of waters as Lucas and Musashi both clashed with blades. Metal sparks flew as the two steels clashed and were followed by sparks of purple lightning. Musashi pushed her strength through the roof, and it overpowered Lucas.
Lucas was thrown several meters away as he clashed blades with her. Musashi had far more Horsepower than him; Battleships had far more strength on their backs. So, him being thrown that far was the expected outcome.
"Damn... she's strong!" he exclaimed.
Everyone nearby at the ongoing battle between the two looked in the direction from which the sonic boom and a massive rippling water that was followed by rising plumes of water came. The sonic blast was ear-shattering.
"Ahhhhh!!!!!!!" Yamashiro and Fuso covered both of their Cat-ears as they both heard a loud sonic boom reverberating across the battlefield.
"What was that!?" Oklahoma yelled as she too covered her ears from the deafening sonic boom.

.
"Hamman will beat you within seconds. So, I'm giving you a chance to surrender," Hamman said, being cocky as always.
"The hell did you just say!" Mutsuki shouted as she pointed her Type 3 120mm Naval Gun while shaking. Behind her were her Sister-Ships, shaking in fear as they faced the three Eagle Union Destroyers.
"You're cocky when facing a weak opponent, and you're useless as a 'cat' when you fought a strong opponent," Bache said as she teased Hamman.
Sims added, "You would only last a few seconds at best, a minute."
Hamman, Sims, and Bache were surrounding the Mutsukis like they were a bunch of typical bullies. Their facial expressions were similar to one as they threatened them.
"Stop! Ganging up on me!" Hamman yelled.
Sims chuckled. "My bad."
Bache spoke, "Listen here, kid." She then pulled out a pouch of candy from her pocket. "Surrender, or I will not give you this candy." She shook the candy pouch to show them it was filled with candy.
Mutsuki slowly lowered her Type 3 120mm Naval Gun and started drooling as she stared at the candy pouch. "Ca-candy...."
Nagatsuki stood up for her sisters. "Don't! Don't fall for such a sweet." She tried to stop her sister from getting corrupted by candy.
"We are the proud Destroyers and 'Warriors' of the S-Sakura Empire, and not a single candy could deceive us from betraying the.... Empire!" she said patriotically, while her whole body quivered in fear.
Hamman, Sims, and Bache had blank facial expressions at her little motivational speech. But then they all heard a screaming noise in the distance; it sounded like someone was being chased by a 'beast,' or so they called it.
They all saw Lafayette being chased by a very furious Kaga for giving her a 'new-haircut' outside of the saloon.
"Get away from me!" He screamed like an afraid child, his voice shrieking.
"I won't let you get away!" Kaga shouted as she gave chase. Her new haircut was an abomination.
Laffey-459 followed them at a pacing speed. She was worried about what Kaga might do to him for giving her a 'new-haircut.' Knowing Kaga in her temper, he might get mauled.
"Quit running, you pest!" Kaga shouted in anger, her voice reverberating as she chased him and threw a bunch of Flaming paper cut-outs at him.
"Hell No. I don't want to get 'devoured' by you!" Lafayette exclaimed as he sped up and dodged all the flaming paper cut-outs.
The two had a willy coyote chase scene that baffled those unknowledgeable of what the literal fuck was going on. The chase was absurd and stupid to some eyes.
"Stop.... Run...ning. Laffey....is...goi.... ZZZZZZZZ" Laffey-459 was just sleep-walking or sleep-sailing in the middle of the chase. She was too tired from dodging and evading flaming Zeros; she was just done with all the bullshit chase and went 'I'm tired... then Sleeps'.
Lafayette couldn't shake her off his tail. Out of options, he faced her. He made a stall speed, making him stop on the spot. Can't shake her, beat her then. His Naval Strike Missile Box Launcher opened its hatch as he prepared for Surface Combat.
'I have 12 Naval Strike Missiles left in the launcher. Firing 2 to stop her might not be that bad?'
Lafayette thought as he assessed what damage could occur if the Missiles were on track. He quickly looked at his targeting system; the system was recalibrating his target assessments. The Radar locked onto his target: Kaga.
"Fire!"
Two Naval Strike Missiles fired from the Box Launcher on one of his riggings. The two Missiles flew out of the Box Launcher and corrected their flight path as their guidance detected their intended target.
Kaga, with or without her Kitsune senses, saw the trails of the zooming threat coming at her in subsonic speed. She cut her chase and summoned her remaining paper cut-outs out of the blue; a blue flame wall rose up between her and the incoming missiles, blocking their path.
"I won't let your stupid toys hit me!" she said after raising the walls of blue flames.
One missile hit the wall of blue flame and exploded, creating a hole in her defense. The armor-piercing warhead pierced the wall, and the subsequent explosion threw her off her footing. She didn't expect that a simple attack would cripple her defensive wall of blue flames.
At the hole of the first Naval Strike Missile detonation, the second one passed through the weakened defense. Kaga tried to summon another blue flame wall but couldn't make it in time as the Missile zoomed towards her.
'No... I can't make it!'
Kaga couldn't move out of the way of the missile; it happened too quickly for her to make any decision. She was hit by one Naval Strike Missile, making her Flight Deck Rigging inoperable. The damage exceeded that of a single 500lbs Bomb; fires engulfed her Flight Deck.
Kaga fell to her knees as she received a direct hit. Every time she stood up straight, her whole body ached from the pain. She was now immobilized and couldn't launch more planes as she held her side, injured from the Missile Strike.
'Gomenne, Akagi nee-san. I failed you,' Kaga muttered to herself and started to tear up.
Her white short hair was messed up, her white kimono was half-burned, and she was bleeding. Her condition was worse than she anticipated from facing a 'brat' with its toys.
"You little brat.... You'll pay for this... Pants ... I'm going to tear you to ... PIECES!!!" She cursed at the one who gave her the beating and pain.
1
Lafayette pointed his saber at her chin as he looked at her with pity. "Please... surrender.... continuing to fight is futile," He said with sympathy in his voice.
Kaga could not take his pity words. "Surrender?! Don't give me that crap! I am not a weakling for you to just offer me a surrender. I am a Kansen, a Warrior.... and you're asking me to surrender. How pathetic of you," She said as she started to tear up. "Finish me, already! Come on!"
Lafayette scratched his head in annoyance; he wasn't having any of her warrior culture shit. "Listen here. I am not allowed to sink or kill any of you. I am tasked to beat you and let you surrender. If I was tasked to kill or sink any of you.... I already did that by launching a Missile Barrage in a range you couldn't imagine is possible!" He berated her.
"Why you—" Before she could finish her word, someone clung to her left leg. She looked down; it was Uzuki, one of the Mutsuki Class Destroyers, crying as she clung to her left leg.
"Please, Kaga-sempai. Don't die...." Uzuki pleaded with her, tears flowing from her eyes. Soon the other Mutsuki Sisters surrounded her and pleaded with her not to waste her life on nothing.
Kaga was having some conflicted thoughts about her duty. She was a Shipgirl made to protect the Empire and its people. The other thought was seeing her half-sister Akagi being happy with her sister Amagi. Her train of thought was cut short by a large explosion going on in the background.
.
.
.
At a distance, amidst all the massive explosions, Akagi and JS Maya faced off. Karyuu, Akagi's dragon, chased JS Maya, who lit up the Dragon's face with her 20mm CIWS Phalanx.
"Run, run. Hahaha." Akagi laughed as she saw her reversed, facing her Flaming Dragon Karyuu.
"You'll now face fury and judgment!" she raised her hand in the air dramatically and slowly pointed it at her. "Burn her!"
Flaming Dragon Karyuu opened its mouth as it prepared for another breath attack. The pulsing surge of energy in its mouth was surely something to worry about as it could vaporize anything it came across. JS Maya was forced to retreat as she faced Karyuu. Her CWIS, CLaWS, and ESSMs were useless against the dragon's skin covered in flames.
She moved out of the way as the concentrated beam of fire passed through her, but the heat still lingered in the air like a pang of poison and sizzling boiling waters. That breath attack was a force on full display.
"Hahahahaha, it seems the force overwhelmed what you so-called power. Sakura Empire will find its seat on the top of the world; I am not as weak as you presumed," Akagi declared. She hated being compared to her Earth Counterpart.
-Patrol Vessel Akagi: Why me? -
JS Maya came to one conclusion: cutting Karyuu's head off with her katana. She then prepared a fighting stance as she faced the Flaming Dragon Karyuu advancing towards her for an attack. She waited as her Aegis Combat System calculated the movement and the right angle to strike.
"I didn't say your counterpart was weak; I just wanted to say... if you chose a different path as her, tragedy could be averted," JS Maya stated. She stood her ground as the JMSDF Naval Vessel that represented Modern Japan's ideology against the Empire.
Akagi's brow twitched. "It doesn't matter; you're dead anyway." She motioned with her left hand, and Karyuu obeyed.
"Your ashes mean nothing in Sakura Empire's History." At the flick of her finger, Karyuu dashed forward, mouth open to take a bite out of her.
JS Maya's Aegis Combat System completed its calculation, and the data was distributed. JS Maya, in her fighting stance, the slow unsheathing of her Katana was like a ticking clock. Within seconds, she unsheathed her katana blade as she was about to slash the neck of the dashing Karyuu. In the blink of an eye, she vanished and reappeared right above the Dragon's neck. With one stroke, she managed to cut the neck with one swift strike in one clean cut.
Akagi froze; she watched her vanish and reappear, then a clean cut at her Flaming Dragon Karyuu's neck. 'Impossible... h-how did she even...'
Karyuu's Flaming body started to fade away as it lost its flames. Within a minute, the Spirit Flame Dragon Karyuu vanished into the air.
"Ara~Ara, you managed to beat my Spirit Flame Dragon: Karyuu in one cut. Impressive," Akagi said as she laughed like a psychopath, trying to salvage some face.
'That was fun, but that's not actually all of my plans,' Akagi thought as she glanced below her.
JS Maya was low on energy as her strength was used to slay that dragon. Now she was looking at the psychotic Fox-Girl levitating above, staring at her like she was an insect in the face of a giant.
Akagi then launched all of her Flaming Zeros at her. JS Maya managed to cut them all with ease with the help of her Aegis Combat System, CIWS, and CLaWS.
JS Maya, with all her remaining strength, raised and pointed her katana at Akagi and shouted, "Akagi! Surrender, or I will destroy you without any hesitation. This is the only time I will ask you to surrender."
Akagi laughed like crazy. "Me? Surrender? .... When victory is within my grasp." She gestured to her surroundings.
JS Maya looked around and saw Mass-Produced Siren ships surrounding the Azur Lane Fleet. Her SPY-1 Radar detected all the Siren ships and counted them; they all numbered 200+ vessels. From Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships, and Carriers, they were surrounded. She then looked at Akagi.
Akagi looked at her with her typical sadistic look, her eyes glowing red. The skies above were filled with Jet-Black Colored Aircraft that started to shoot down any Azur Lane Aircraft but failed to match the Hornets and F-35s in the air.
Akagi spoke as she floated in the air. "Tell me? Who's the one who should surrender... me .... Or you?"
Behind the background, Observer α grinned as the time of their entry had come. She had waited long for Azur Lane to amass their forces in one place. She had planned to use Orochi to wipe them all out of existence, but since Orochi was destroyed, she had to use the resources she had in her arsenal.
"It is time," Tester α said as a purple portal appeared in front.
"Yes, indeed," Observer α grinned. "We shall not make them wait any longer; it's time to greet them... face-to-face."
"Hahahaha, Azur Lane here we come...." Purifier's voice boomed.
'Damn it. This is bad; all the Azur Lane Shipgirls are low on ammunition, including me. Now the Sirens showed up... Miss Enterprise's prediction of them showing up came true,' JS Maya thought.
USS Enterprise CVN-80
"So.... They chose to come out from their hiding place when the two forces are on their knees," Queen Elizabeth said as she looked at the screen showing the number of Siren Ships present.
"You predicted they'd show up as Our Forces and Axis Forces are down in numbers. So, what's our next plan?" Warspite asked, anticipating something.
"We wait." Enterprise-80 eyed the monitor as she waited for someone important to show up. "I want to know their faces and their leader so that I could make a countermeasure."
Warspite was surprised by her statement. "Wait. We already made a plan and countermeasure against Tester α, Purifier, and Observer α. Who is the one you anticipated to show up?"
"Tell me, Miss Enterprise. Who's the one you're thinking of that is going to show itself in this battle?" Queen Elizabeth asked.
Enterprise-80 took a deep breath and looked at the two Royal Navy Shipgirls looking at her, anticipating her answer.
"An Arbiter."
She glanced at one of the Meowfficers with a rank of Commander; she nodded. "Prepare for phase-2. I want all birds to be recalled from the Empire aerospace. Rearm the Hornets on standby... I want 2 squadrons in the air. Now!"
The Meowfficer then proceeded to repeat her orders as everyone in the CIC Room went frantic. Flights of Hornets relocated to engage the Siren Ships that appeared out of nowhere.
USS Enterprise Flight Deck
The Deck of the Super Carrier was in choreographed chaos as Jets were being armed with Anti-Ship Munitions and Anti-Air Missiles. F/A-18 Super Hornets that had just finished shooting down Sakuran Planes landed and were being refueled and rearmed with a mix payload of Anti-Ship and Anti-Air Missiles.
F/A-25 Hellcats that were stored in the Hangar in case the real threat showed up were currently being towed onto the Flight Deck by Push Tugs. Ordinance Handlers (Manjuus) rushed towards the Jet and armed it with Air-to-Air Missiles for Aerial Supremacy above the Battlefield.
The entire Task Force was now mobilized and currently waiting for the Flagship's decision to strike. Azur Lane Carriers readied their modified SBD Dive-Bomber Planes with Targeting PODs for Laser-Guided Weapons.
Enterprise-80 ordered William to distribute the Targeting PODs to those Carriers with high and accurate Bomb score hits. Enterprise-80 could not rush the production of early jets in service that was currently under development.
To remedy these shortcomings, she had to resort to modifying the existing aircraft. The Modified SBD's Dauntless Dive-Bomber looked like a cracked-up AT-802 Sky Warden with all the upgrades.
The Sirens showed-up and Azur Lane is ready to great them on the field with all the necessary tools of greetings and diplomacy from surface, air and under.
