Her gloves glowed with a golden light and enveloped her hand to her elbow, transforming into her gauntlets, and then, with a swift movement, she leaped and got on top of the counter to see what was going on.
Just as she thought, the sound was coming from there, and what she saw made her frown.
Two green creatures were gnawing at an unrecognizable body. It was in such an awful state, and there was blood everywhere.
These creatures were busy snacking with no care. Two of them.
They were green.
Goblins?
Well, they looked like it but she was sure they weren't goblins.
Rather, they were Gnolls.
And she was more than certain when they hadn't reacted to her presence or her voice.
Gnolls relied on their sight, even if they had just one eye, and the scent of blood when going after their target. Their hearing isn't good.
If it were, they would've attacked as soon as Diane asked if anyone was there.
