"Tch," Diane folded her arms. "Then, what are you here for?"

A huge explosion interrupted her, as smoke flared into the air and the ground trembled.
Alice held Diane to steady her and then raised her head to look at where the explosion was coming from.
"That..." Diane immediately turned her head and her eyes widened.
They were not very far from it so she was sure of it.
That place... That was the shop where she saw the Gnolls.
"Sam," she voiced in worry and then bolted in that direction.
"Diane," Alice grabbed her arm. "Usually, in emergencies like this, people run the other way," she pointed behind them but Diane clicked her tongue.
"Do you think I don't know that, dumbass? I'm the smart one here." She pointed out.
"Then why are you running towards the danger?" Alice asked, looking a bit concerned.
"It's because that's the place I'm just coming from. I didn't confirm it with my own eyes but I'm sure of it. There's a gate there."
