Sato's Swampert smashed through the giant Golurk's energy shield with a single punch and knocked it to the ground, which massively boosted the morale of the Team Rocket members and their Pokémon gathered inside the hall.
"Yeahhhh!!!"
"Well done! Venusaur, use Petal Dance—tear those scrap heaps apart!"
"Nice! Charge! Tauros, Iron Head!"
"Mooo!!"
In an instant, the energized Team Rocket members and their Pokémon exploded with double their usual fighting strength, quickly overwhelming wave after wave of ancient puppet Pokemon.
Their eyes then locked onto the fallen giant Golurk, and they eagerly joined the siege.
However, the giant colossal Golurk was clearly not so easy to defeat. Even with the combined assault of the five main powerhouses, all they had managed so far was to shatter its energy shield—not enough to truly bring it down.
Very soon, the giant Golurk climbed back to its feet under the relentless pursuit of Swampert, Garchomp, Kommo-o, and other powerful Pokémon. It now moved with far greater agility, as if it had just finished warming up.
Despite the intense barrage from all directions, the Golurk suddenly erupted with a wave of strange, dark energy, which it then channeled into the ground beneath it.
In the next second, the dark energy spread out across the hall's floor like a black tide, quickly making contact with all nearby objects and living beings.
When it touched the scattered remains of the previously defeated puppet Pokemon, a terrifying thing happened—they were reactivated.
Rapidly absorbing earth from the ground, the puppets began repairing their broken bodies. In the blink of an eye, nearly a hundred of them were back on their feet.
What's worse, these reawakened puppets were clearly tougher than before. Their eyes glowed with a violent red light, as if driven into a berserker rage. They now fought with coordination and focused attacks.
Caught off guard, seven or eight Team Rocket members and their nearby Pokémon were instantly taken out by the concentrated onslaught, falling to the ground in unknown condition. The number of casualties continued to rise.
With this terrifying resurrection ability, the giant Golurk had completely turned the tide of a battle it was on the verge of losing.
However, this ability clearly came at a great cost. Its natural regeneration—once so rapid—had weakened considerably. The damage from earlier concentrated attacks had left its body severely battered and uneven.
Its right leg, especially, was in critical condition. After being hammered by Swampert, Kommo-o, Sceptile, and Bisharp in unison, its knee joint was nearly shattered, drastically affecting its mobility.
"What a golden opportunity! It just drained a huge amount of energy to revive its army—this is the weakest it'll be! Everyone, concentrate your attacks! Once it falls, those resurrected puppets will collapse on their own!"
Tomoki clearly anticipated this move. Gritting his teeth, he shouted loudly to the panicked Team Rocket members around him.
"Garchomp, Dragon Rush! Nidoking, Nidoqueen—Helping Hand each other, then use Ice Beam on it!"
Without delay, he commanded his three ace Pokémon to launch another wave of attacks.
"ROARRR!!"
Responding instantly, the airborne Garchomp let out a deafening cry as it burst forth with draconic energy, turning into a comet-like dragon silhouette that crashed straight into the back of the giant Golurk's head.
The full-force Dragon Rush from the pseudo-legendary Pokémon was no joke. The back of Golurk's head immediately cracked under the impact, and the enormous figure staggered forward several steps from the blow.
At the same time, Nidoking and Nidoqueen clasped hands and used Helping Hand on each other, imbuing their partner with synchronized support energy. The Ice Beam they each fired next surged into Ice Lances—piercing cold, amplified by teamwork.
Both beams struck the giant Golurk, inflicting massive damage.
Perhaps even more terrifying was the enhanced freezing effect—half of Golurk's body was quickly encased in solid ice.
The sudden burst of power from Tomoki's trio stunned all the surrounding Rocket members.
Although the resurrected puppets were still attacking with deadly force, everyone realized this was a rare chance. They each left one Pokémon to guard themselves and turned their remaining forces toward the now-frozen Golurk.
In a flash, a mass of Rocket Pokémon converged on the frozen giant in a relentless wave of attacks.
"Swampert, again! Earth Ice Hammer—aim for its right knee!"
"Brother, Dragon Rush! Sceptile, Leaf Storm!"
"Alakazam, maximum power Shadow Ball!"
"Bisharp, Night Slash—aim for a vital spot!"
Sato, Vanna, Ailes, and Rin didn't hesitate either. They immediately ordered their main Pokémon to deliver their most brutal attacks against Golurk's already critically damaged right knee.
Perhaps the Golurk never expected its enemies to go completely all-in, sacrificing most of their defenses just to break it. Its eyes flashed erratically in alarm.
Faced with this crisis, the not-so-intelligent Golurk followed its instincts—it once again commanded the ancient puppets to shield it.
At its command, the puppets obeyed without hesitation. Abandoning their current targets, they flew to Golurk's side and threw themselves in front of the oncoming attacks.
BOOM BOOM BOOM—!!
A string of explosions rocked the battlefield.
The puppet Pokemon fulfilled their purpose and were blasted into scrap metal under the onslaught.
But that wasn't all.
Under the concentrated barrage from Swampert, Kommo-o, Sceptile, and Bisharp, Golurk's right knee finally shattered—and the massive creature collapsed once more.
This time, it didn't get up.
Its revived puppet army had already been decimated shielding it from the last attack and could no longer assist it.
Worse still, its right leg was completely broken, and with its energy reserves now dangerously low, there was no way it could repair itself quickly.
And so, under the fierce bombardment from the Rocket Pokémon, the mighty Golurk finally followed its soldiers—reduced to nothing more than a shattered heap of scraps.
