Its leader, Dash, was a veteran Elite Four-level trainer and was classified as a Super Class-A Pokémon Hunter wanted by the League.
The Black Cloud Poaching Group's most famous hunting achievement was their attempt to capture the Ultra-Legendary Pokémon, Dialga. Although they ultimately failed due to League intervention, it showed the world the formidable power of this large international poaching organization.
In terms of the science and technology behind capturing Pokémon, the Black Cloud Poaching Group was undoubtedly among the world's best.
The six Black Cloud Poaching Group members currently facing Sato were elite members of the organization. Within the group, they operated in squads of six, and the leader of this particular squad was the tall, thin man who warned Sato earlier.
Regarding the recent Altaria egg incident, the Black Cloud Poaching Group also planned to get involved. For this purpose, two poaching squads, each composed entirely of Elite trainers and led by a pseudo-Elite Four level trainer, were dispatched to the location.

Criminals wanted by the League were generally classified into three levels: Class B, Class A, and Super Class-A. The strength assessment for these levels corresponds to Elite, pseudo-Elite Four, and Elite Four level, respectively.
Since Julio was rated as a Class-A criminal by the League, he naturally possesses pseudo-Elite Four level strength.
As for the other five Black Cloud Poaching Group members, Sato also recognised them; all five were merely Class-B criminals.
Therefore, facing Sato was one pseudo-Elite Four level trainer and five Elite-level trainers. This lineup was undoubtedly very intimidating for any lone operator.

Since Kecleon's IVs were enhanced, its presence within Sato's team had grown stronger. Whether yesterday or today, Sato had Kecleon battle wild Pokémon very frequently.

Because Sato kept it ready to act at any moment, Kecleon was always under the effect of having used Nasty Plot once. So, even with its low Special Attack base stat, the power of its STAB-boosted Thunderbolt was still considerable.

However, before the Sand Tomb created by Julio's Dugtrio could swallow Sato, a purple shadow shot out from the canopy of a nearby tree like lightning and landed on Sato's back.

Yesterday, it was Kecleon handling this task, but today it was the more powerful Crobat.

In response, Nidoking landed on the ground unfazed and let out an ear-splitting roar. Then, as a glow emanated from the orb beneath its neck, a massive purple energy ball radiating terrifying energy waves shot from its mouth.
The target of the purple energy ball was none other than Julio.
"Block it, quickly!"

"Aipom, use Swift!"
When Julio saw the purple energy ball Nidoking launched at him, his face paled dramatically. He urgently ordered his team members and Pokémon to block Nidoking's fearsome attack.
"Manectric, Thunderbolt!"
"Scyther, Air Cutter!"
"Mightyena, Dark Pulse!"
"Victreebel, Razor Leaf!"
"Magmar, Flamethrower!"
In truth, even without Julio's command, the other five Black Cloud Poaching Group members were equally horrified and immediately ordered their Pokémon to attack.
Boosted by the Life Orb, the Sheer Force ability, and STAB, the power of the Sludge Bomb released by Nidoking had reached a terrifying level of 228.
However, facing the combined assault of seven Pokémon from the opposing side, Nidoking's Sludge Bomb naturally couldn't withstand it. The purple energy ball exploded upon contact with these attacks.
The next second, a loud BOOM!!! echoed.
The moves from both sides collided, resulting in a massive energy explosion.
Just as the explosion occurred, a blue glow flashed in Sato's eyes as he stood firmly on the ground again.
Immediately, the Whirlipede, which had been inactive on the battlefield until now, swiftly rolled in front of Nidoking and used Protect to help Nidoking withstand the immense impact of the energy explosion.
However, before the smoke from the explosion cleared, several white air blades, each several meters long, sliced through the smoke, accurately striking the Pokémon of the Black Cloud Poaching Group members.
