Lightning of the ancient ran through the skies as the ground burned, broken by the heavenly descent, and far away within a barrier, Michael stared not in shock, not in awe, but in pure hatred. "Precious, even when I'm not there, you abuse others." He clenched his fists as blood dripped from them. He wanted to walk out, for Michael believed Precious had let Zeus out again. "What's the point? I can't escape this. I'm stuck until a master I don't know accepts my progress. If I don't accept her, I die by the thousand beasts outside the door. Isn't that just a deadlock? Funny how I came here to impose death, to find a way to wipe out humanity, but now I was getting another's will imposed on me, huh?" He laughed hysterically as he sat on the ground. "Well, I have no choice but to accept her will to showcase my will. Let's see what's inside this core."
Closing my eyes, I looked deep within, following the surging red energy. It felt like the burning magma of a volcano, but it remained subtle, moving with its own rhythm. Drifting deeper, I saw a bright red orb that looked like a miniature sun, but it looked sad as cracks broke across its surface. They say a core shares the pain of its user. I guess I am truly broken. I tried joining it back together, but with every attempt, I felt a burning sensation in my throat as blood rushed up. I threw up multiple times, to the point where I was left looking pale. But who am I to let others suffer when I can end their suffering? For death will always be true peace and freedom. For the final time, I looked at my core. Since I had attempted joining it together using energy, why not let it disperse? I let it break. I had nothing to lose. As humans would say, . Experiments like me only exist to die.
As Michael's mind interacted with his core, it shattered into multiple pieces. Green veins grew all over his body. Like a poison, his body began to creak and crack as he screamed.
