200 years after the end of the Last War.
Orion Starr made his way through the derelict streets of London, his yellow eyes of a curious, bright citrine scanning the bleak surroundings.
The devastation of the Last War hadn't reached the Capital. Yet, once the humans were forced to desert the towns and cities above ground, in the wake of a calamitous nuclear winter that lasted for 20 years, only the vampires were able to roam the streets without the fear of death from both the elements and now, from the persisting, high levels of radiation.
After the Elites had made their announcement to the humans, amity had settled between them for a time, whilst the humans retreated into underground facilities. Sprawling underground bunkers that the vampires had aided in creating in order to form an initial, shaky peace and prove their good intentions for the survival of the human race.
