Noe Jin dragged the flailing soldier into the shadows behind the entrance to the human settlement and swiftly snapped his neck with a lazy movement.
He casually shrugged the guard's military jacket onto his shoulders and tucked his bright, platinum blonde hair into the cap, pulling it down low to shield his piercing eyes from view.
'Noe, what exactly is the plan here? I know I told you to stop moping around and meet some new people but you don't even know this woman. Is she just another new toy?' Ren asked.
'Of course. What else would it be? She interests me and nothing else. I'm just going to see what her life is like.'
Noe loped over to the entrance with relaxed confidence and swiped the guard's link against the lock, nodding towards the human soldier as if he had done so every evening and the soldier nodded back, unconcerned and with no hint of suspicion.
