Chapter 435 - A Story To Tell

Dimitri looked at Tank, both of them feeling it the second Hattie was no longer in the mansion. It was like a pit had opened up inside of them, and it was all they could do to hold onto their temper.

 

Tank, losing the battle first, punched a hole in the wall before narrowing his eyes at Dimitri. "I'm getting her a collar," he grunted, heading toward the front door. Since this wasn't their house, the hole wasn't going to fix itself, but that was the last thing on Dimitri's mind.

 

The first was who he had to kill.

 

Stalking down the street, people rushed to get out of their way. Even the guards at the gate between the Sanctuary and the Base didn't try to stop them, simply opened the gate and let them through.

 

It was smart on their side; it saved Dimitri and Tank a few seconds and saved their lives. A win-win if there ever was one.
