" Mega Pidgeot is unable to battle! Greninja wins!"
Behind Chris, the arena wall was cracked so severely that the energy barrier's edge was clearly visible. That section of the protective shield displayed an extensive web of fractures, so dense they appeared ready to shatter at the slightest touch. Beyond the energy barrier sat the spectator stands.
The audience members all wore expressions of terror.
It had been so close!
The protective barrier had nearly been destroyed completely, and they would have had to endure the devastating aftermath of that attack.
Only one thought occupied their minds now: next time they bought tickets, they would never again purchase seats directly behind a Trainer's battle position!
Within the energy barrier, Mega Pidgeot lay unconscious in a massive crater approximately three meters deep and spanning more than ten meters in width.
Super Aura Spiral Golden Shuriken.
This was an ultimate technique developed jointly by Chris and Greninja. The power behind it wasn't solely Greninja's aura energy, but also Chris's own aura power combined.
Chris and Greninja were separate individuals, yet due to their bond evolution, they functioned as two bodies sharing one mind.
The transmission and flow rate of aura power between them moved far faster than the typical connection between Trainer and Pokemon who possessed aura abilities.
During recent months, Chris had frequently trained his aura powers within the Aura Secret Realm, enhanced by the blessing of his specialized aura gloves.
He could now easily create "Rasengan" techniques independently.
Greninja's aura power combined with Chris's aura energy created something extraordinary.
The destructive force of this finishing move exceeded even the power of Z-Moves that Greninja could perform!
Mega Pidgeot's typing was Normal and Flying, which provided less resistance to Fighting-type attacks compared to standard Flying-type Pokemon.
The instant knockout had been within Chris's calculations.
Upon hearing the referee announce the battle's outcome, sparse applause echoed from the audience.
It wasn't that they wished to withhold congratulations from Chris, but rather they remained absorbed in the shocking impact of Greninja's devastating final blow, unable to break free from their amazement.
"What move did Greninja just use? How did it suddenly appear behind Mega Pidgeot from the front?"
"Could that have been Teleport? Is Greninja capable of learning Teleport?"
"If Aggron can learn Trick Room, why shouldn't Greninja be able to learn Teleport!"
"What was that final attack? It looked like a giant sun!"
"I never imagined that Elite Elian's ace Pokemon, Mega Pidgeot, would be defeated by Chris's Mega Greninja!"
"I'd call it the World's Strongest Greninja! Anyone disagree?"
The scattered applause gradually drew everyone back from their chaotic thoughts, and soon the applause thundered throughout the arena.
With his ace Pokemon defeated and only one Pokemon remaining, while none of Chris's team had lost their ability to battle, the absolute difference in combat strength between Chris and Elian became crystal clear to all observers.
Those who had been hoping for Elian's Mega Pidgeot to stage a miraculous comeback, expecting it to defeat Chris's remaining two Pokemon and reclaim the advantage, found their hopes "betrayed" and their hearts "broken."
At the special guest table, Roy also stared at his teacher with an expression of complete astonishment.
"Teleport can actually be learned?"
Principal Vladimir looked equally surprised and threw up his hands in bewilderment.
"I never managed to teach any Pokemon to master Teleport, even when I possessed the Lustrous Orb!"
As for his opponent, Flying Elite Elian stood frozen in place, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly as he repeatedly muttered four words.
"Teleport..."
Elian was absolutely certain he had witnessed it correctly.
The move Greninja had used to evade Mega Pidgeot's final assault was definitely Teleport!
One second ago, Mega Pidgeot had held the advantage, overwhelming Greninja with absolute speed, appearing poised for victory. Who could have predicted that in the next instant, Greninja would employ Teleport to escape?
Then Pidgeot had been instantly defeated by Greninja's incomprehensible Aura Sphere that continued expanding mid-flight...
This was absolutely ridiculous!
It made no sense...
But... if he considered it from a different perspective.
If a straightforward Pokemon like Aggron could master Trick Room, then perhaps it wasn't entirely unacceptable for a high-speed, agile Pokemon like Greninja to master Teleport...
Still couldn't accept it!
Greninja learning Teleport was far more shocking than Aggron controlling Trick Room!
Although Aggron lacked Psychic typing, it wasn't a Dark-type that resisted Psychic moves like Greninja was!
Elian stared at Chris, his mind reeling in confusion. Beyond his surprise, he felt overwhelming curiosity.
Intense curiosity!
How had Chris enabled his Pokemon to master moves that clearly seemed incompatible with their natural abilities?
Yet these moves worked in perfect harmony with them.
He retrieved his Poke Ball and recalled Pidgeot.
Then he threw his fifth Poke Ball.
A Salamence emerged.
Elian, hailing from the Dragon's Den in the capital, specialized in Dragon-types for all his Pokemon except his ace. Even his Charizard gained Dragon typing after MEGA evolution.
Chris reluctantly recalled Greninja with considerable embarrassment.
Then he decisively sent out Gardevoir for MEGA evolution.
The elegant fairy queen in her flowing black dress, Mega Gardevoir, immediately captured everyone's attention.
Soaring through the sky, the mighty Salamence instantly sensed the threat from its natural enemy. The roar it had intended to release transformed into a pitiful "whimper," and it obediently descended to hover before its Trainer.
Mega Gardevoir versus standard Salamence.
The battle concluded within one minute. Gardevoir defeated Salamence with a devastating Moonblast that summoned countless pink stars.
The reason for such a swift victory was that Elian had already lost his will to continue fighting.
Aggron had swept two Pokemon, Greninja had eliminated his ace, and now in the final match, he faced the Fairy-type queen Gardevoir—the Pokemon most feared by Dragon-types.
Elian had fallen into complete bewilderment.
Who was he? Where was he? Why was he fighting this battle?
When a Trainer loses their fighting spirit, their Pokemon's defeat becomes inevitable.
Chris successfully defeated all four of Elian's Pokemon while maintaining perfect condition!
"Salamence is unable to battle! Trainer Elian's four Pokemon have all lost their ability to fight, therefore the winner of the Elite Challenge is Trainer Chris!"
As the referee's declaration echoed through the arena, the entire National Pokemon Battle Center erupted in thunderous applause.
All present celebrated the coronation of their new Elite!
