In the early morning, Chris stood at the harbor of Dragon University, preparing to travel to the East Sea Dragon Nest.

While waiting for Professor Vladimir to arrive, Chris relied on Zoroark's illusion ability to conceal himself on the shore and observe the students coming and going.

The quality of students in this year's class was remarkably high, and not just because of their appearance.

The strength of their Pokémon was quite impressive as well.

Chris remembered that when he first enrolled, the average level for sophomore students' Pokémon ranged between level 30 and 40, which was considered decent. However, today he noticed that many of the Pokémon the sophomores carried with them were all level 40 or above.

There were even a few students with level 50 Pokémon. Back in Chris's time, reaching that level was enough to prepare for graduation.

The overall strength had jumped up at least one tier compared to two or three years ago.

However, when Chris thought about it, this development had a lot to do with him.

As Chris dominated the Dragon Kingdom Trainer world in this era, Dragon University's reputation also increased alongside his success.

The situation among Pokémon Universities back then was one of "many strong contenders." Several Pokémon universities were powerful, but each had its own advantages and disadvantages, so they were relatively equal in standing.

The current situation among Pokémon Universities could be described as "one super power, many strong contenders." Dragon University now stood superior to other Pokémon universities. Many foreign Trainers even came from far away, hoping to study at Dragon University.

After Chris launched the "Individual Value Theory" and Chris's Breeding House began selling high-quality Pokémon, many Trainers who obtained their favorite high-potential Pokémon from his establishment naturally became more interested in Dragon University, where Chris had studied.

With more people applying but Dragon University maintaining limited enrollment spots each year, the selection criteria became increasingly strict.

To put it simply, the young trainers gathered at Dragon University represented the future of the trainer world in China and even across the entire world.

They would all become Chris's loyal followers and supporters in the years to come.

Professor Vladimir had even joked that when he retired, Chris should take over and serve as the president of Dragon University.

Chris hadn't refused the suggestion, but he hadn't immediately agreed either. Perhaps after he truly became invincible, he could accept the position of president at Dragon University and live a more peaceful life.

While Chris was lost in thought, Professor Vladimir arrived.

"Snap!" Chris snapped his fingers, and Zoroark immediately canceled the illusion, revealing him.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. I had to handle some college affairs, so it took a bit longer," Vladimir explained apologetically.

"It's okay, I just arrived myself," Chris shook his head. "Professor, how are we planning to travel there?"

"Let your Lugia take us there. I still haven't ridden on a Lugia before," Vladimir said with a smile.

Using a legendary Pokémon as transportation was something most Trainers couldn't even dream of, especially a shiny one at that.

Remarkable, truly remarkable.

If Chris hadn't been his student, Vladimir might have felt jealous.

"If you'd like, Professor, I can have Lugia take you on a tour around the entire world."

"No, no, I'm just teasing. If I flew for too long, these old bones of mine wouldn't be able to handle it," Vladimir waved his hand quickly.

"Ah! It's Chris!"

Suddenly, a sharp cry interrupted the conversation between Chris and Vladimir.

A passing female student screamed and covered her mouth, her eyes widening as she pointed at Chris in surprise.

The students around her were startled by the scream and cast curious glances in their direction. Soon, all of them widened their eyes in recognition.

"No way! Chris has come back to school!"

"Big news! Chris has returned to campus!"

"Chris-senpai, I'm your biggest fan!"

Seeing that the situation was about to get out of control, Chris quickly took out a Poké Ball to release his dark Lugia.

"Roar!" A powerful roar shook the entire coastline.

"Professor, let's go now, otherwise this might become very troublesome," Chris said as Gardevoir slowly materialized behind him.

"What do you think? How about becoming the president of Dragon University sooner rather than later? The entire school is filled with your fans now," Vladimir said with an amused smile.

Chris spread his hands helplessly. This was simply the trouble that came with being a celebrity.

Gardevoir waved its arms gracefully, and the two were immediately teleported onto Lugia's back. Lugia spread its massive wings and flapped them powerfully, creating a strong gust of wind. The duo soared into the sky, turning and flying straight toward the sea with the howling wind at their backs.

"It's Lugia! The black Lugia, Chris's legendary Pokémon!"

The students screamed excitedly below. The smarter ones had already pulled out their phones to capture photos of Lugia.

Without a doubt, the headline news today at Dragon University and throughout the entire city of Dragon would be that Chris had returned to his alma mater to visit Professor Vladimir.

Lugia flew through the air at incredible speed.

Before long, they spotted the East Sea Dragon Nest moving above the ocean.

A massive white mist shrouded the area, resembling a giant steamed bun floating on the water. Without permission from Dragon University, even if someone managed to locate the East Sea Dragon Nest, they wouldn't be able to enter.

Previously, Chris had visited the East Sea Dragon Nest twice, both times led by Senior Sister Olivia.

This time, there was no need for Senior Sister Olivia to lead the way, nor did Professor Vladimir need to guide them. Chris was able to pass through the barrier easily.

The white mist that shrouded the Dragon Nest in the East Sea was actually the Mist move, fundamentally speaking, but enhanced with psychic power shielding that made it impossible to lock onto.

When an intruder entered the area, their sense of direction would be disturbed by the psychic interference, causing them to deviate from the island and exit along the edge of the mist without ever realizing what had happened.

However, this method was child's play when facing the "Psychic Queen" at Chris's side.

Gardevoir easily shielded them from the mental interference, allowing them to enter the East Sea Dragon Nest without difficulty.

Standing on the edge of the beach, Chris and Vladimir dismounted and recalled Lugia to its Poké Ball.

Looking into the distance, they saw mountains covered in lush green forests. A strong wind blew across the landscape, causing the forest canopy to ripple like ocean waves. Dragonite, Salamence, and other powerful Dragon-types could be seen as swift figures shuttling across the sky, completely carefree and wild.

This was Garchomp's homeland, and they needed to show proper respect, so they decided to walk the rest of the way.

Garchomp burst out of its Poké Ball and roared toward the sky.

"Crack!"

The distinctive roar was deafening, spreading like sound waves across the entire island.

"Crack!"

"Crack!"

Before long, similar roaring sounds echoed back from the depths of the East Sea Dragon Nest.

Upon receiving responses from its companions, Garchomp immediately waved its claws excitedly, clearly impatient to proceed.

Chris stroked the rough, shark-like skin on Garchomp's back affectionately. "Let's go. You lead the way and take us to see your mother."
