Zheng Xianghong returned from school to the production team and didn't go home first, but instead went to visit Li Qinghong and Li Xiaoting.
"Xiaoting!" Zheng Xianghong first spotted Li Xiaoting and called out.
Li Xiaoting moved her lips, wanting to call Zheng Xianghong, but ultimately didn't dare; she then walked toward Zheng Xianghong.
"Godmother," Li Xiaoting said softly, her voice filled with joy.
"I came back yesterday and wanted to visit you and your dad, but it was too late, and I went to school this morning before returning. Call your dad and come over to my place for a meal," Zheng Xianghong said.
Li Xiaoting hesitated, "Wouldn't that be inappropriate?"
"What's there to be afraid of? Although you and your dad haven't had your status restored yet, it's only a matter of time. Come on, call your dad, and let's have a couple of drinks later. I brought Coconut Wine from the island. Let you both try it. Remember to come over; I'll go back and start cooking."
