The children fell asleep quickly, and Feiyang, Feiyue, and Feiyi were soon snoring away, as was Xia Xiao.
Once Gao Jiaxing had finished taking his bath, he returned and looked at the several sleeping children and Xia Xiao.
Gao Jiaxing couldn't bear to disturb this beautiful scene, but the bed was too small—it was cramped with a family of five, and with the little ones, there was a risk of rolling onto them.
Gao Jiaxing had initially thought about carrying his sons to Gao Jiazhi's room to sleep, but then he worried about the hassle if any of the children started crying.
At that moment, Gao Jiaxing stepped forward and arranged his sons properly.
Only then did Xia Xiao realize she was sitting in Gao Jiaxing's arms, and they were on the same chair. She turned her head and saw that the children were all sound asleep.
"Shh, don't make a sound, you'll wake the children," Gao Jiaxing said.
Xia Xiao woke up late again the next morning, roused by the kids as usual.
