"Why haven't I been able to reach you? I was worried," Tony said as soon as the call came through, and he answered.
Angel sighed first, before she went ahead to respond to him.
"It has been a packed few days. Also, I just got Ivar to give me a charger for the phone," she explained.
"Are you okay? I hear your daughter is back to you."
Angel turned beside her, and smiled when she saw Isabella sleeping peacefully.
"She's back, and so beautiful. I haven't left her side yet. I'm afraid that if I do, something bad is going to happen again."
"You can't be that paranoid. It's not healthy for you. As long as you can trust the people around you, you're good to take a few minutes of break," he advised.
"I know, but it's not that easy. Besides, I can't trust everyone here. Someone wants me far away from Ares, or dead. Like I said, it has been a packed few days."
"Dead?! Who wants you dead? Does Ares know about this? What is he doing to stop it? I'm on my way now!"
