Chapter 348 - Chapter 348: Little Doctor Fairy’s Surprise Attack, Yan Luotian’s Misery

Chapter 348: Little Doctor Fairy's Surprise Attack, Yan Luotian's Misery

In the vast expanse of the sky, two incredibly powerful auras drew everyone's attention.

"Haha! I didn't expect that even with the combined forces of Mulan Valley and Yunlan Sect, you can't handle a bunch of rebels from the Jia Ma Empire. You need me to step in?" A loud, arrogant voice echoed across the battlefield.

As the laughter faded, a brilliant golden light shot into the sky from the enemy's army. Suspended in the air was a man dressed in golden robes.

Right after this, the piercing cry of an eagle echoed through the sky.

"Skree!"

A massive blue eagle, riding the winds, appeared above the battlefield. Its enormous wings flapped slowly, sending gusts of wind sweeping in all directions.

As the eagle hovered, everyone's gaze was drawn to its head. There stood a graceful woman, completely unaffected by the raging winds around her. She wore loose-fitting purple and red robes, her long, snow-white hair cascading down like a shimmering waterfall.

Her face was veiled, concealing her features, but the mysterious allure made people even more curious. What stood out most were her cold, lifeless gray-purple eyes that seemed devoid of emotion.

"Heh, boy, so what if you have a Dou Zong puppet? In the Northwest Continent, no one dares to challenge the dignity of Mulan Valley. Now we have two more Dou Zong experts. What can you do—create two more Dou Zong puppets?" The lion-headed elder of Mulan Valley sneered venomously at Mo Yu.

Mo Yu remained expressionless, his eyes fixed on the graceful figure atop the giant eagle. A sense of familiarity washed over him, and he instantly recognized her.

"It's Little Doctor Fairy… I didn't expect her to be here," Mo Yu murmured softly to himself, a flicker of emotion passing through his eyes.

Even though the Little Doctor Fairy's appearance and strength had changed drastically since their last encounter, Mo Yu recognized her immediately. He was well aware of the terrifying power of her "Woeful Poison Body" and its potential. So, even seeing her as a Dou Zong now didn't surprise him.

What truly confirmed her identity for Mo Yu was the distinct aura of the "Profound Yin Poison Lightning" he had given her years ago. This confirmed it—there was no awkward mistake in recognizing her, unlike Xiao Yan in the original story.

Mo Yu found the situation amusing. The Mulan Elders were smugly confident, thinking their two Dou Zong reinforcements would turn the tide. Little did they know, they had just brought their own doom...

On Yunlan Mountain, the sounds of battle gradually died down as everyone paused to look at the golden-robed man and the white-haired woman on the giant eagle. Shock rippled through the crowd.

Two more Dou Zong experts? Since when were Dou Zong masters so common? Including Yun Shan, the Mulan Elders, Mo Yu's Dou Zong puppet, there were now five Dou Zong masters present!

Thinking about how rare Dou Zong experts usually were, everyone's eyes widened in disbelief.

"I've traveled through the Northwest Continent for a time, and with the information network of the Mittel family, I've kept tabs on the surrounding regions. If I'm not mistaken, that man in gold is Yan Luotian, the leader of the Golden Goose Sect from the Yan Empire. He's a Dou Zong at the early stage. As for the woman on the giant eagle..." Hai Bodong's voice faltered, his hand trembling slightly. He spoke in a hoarse voice, "She's the leader of the Poison Sect, from the newly risen power in the Cloud Empire. They say she once wiped out dozens of factions in a single night, killing many Dou Wang and Dou Huang experts. As for those below Dou Wang… they were slaughtered by the hundreds, if not thousands. Her methods are unbelievably cruel."

Jia Xingtian, Fa Ma, and the others gasped in shock at this revelation. Their expressions grew increasingly grim.

With the combined forces of the Jia Ma Empire and Mo Yu's faction, they were already struggling against Yunlan Sect and Mulan Valley. Now, with two more Dou Zong experts on the enemy side, the situation had become dire.

In the nearby battlefield where Xiao Yan and Yun Shan were facing off, Xiao Yan was equally taken aback by the sudden appearance of two more Dou Zong experts. Rubbing his forehead, a look of concern crossed his face.

"Heh, Xiao Yan, don't worry about that side of the battle. Haven't you noticed how calm your cousin looks? It means he's confident. Don't underestimate him. Even I can't fully see through that kid. Focus on the battle in front of you—Yun Shan is your enemy." Yao Lao's voice echoed in Xiao Yan's mind.

Xiao Yan blinked, then glanced at Mo Yu. Seeing his cousin's calm demeanor, he relaxed slightly. Without even realizing it, Mo Yu had become a solid pillar of support for him and the Xiao family. With Mo Yu around, it felt like nothing could go wrong.

Although Xiao Yan didn't know how Mo Yu would handle the two new Dou Zong experts, he had full faith in his cousin.

"Yes, I trust Brother Mo Yu. As for Yun Shan, I'll handle him myself!" Xiao Yan's expression hardened with determination. Inside, he said to Yao Lao, "Master, I'll need to borrow your strength."

"Hmm. I'll take over your body. A Dou Zong is still too much for you at the moment."

While Xiao Yan prepared for his battle, Yun Shan's gaze shifted toward Mo Yu's battlefield. When he saw Yan Luotian and the Little Doctor Fairy, his expression darkened.

The Mulan Elders had secretly invited two powerful reinforcements behind his back. Clearly, they had their own agenda.

"Hmph! Do they think they're the only ones with a hidden card? No matter what, Yunlan Sect will be the final victor!" Yun Shan sneered, comforted by the powerful force supporting him from behind the scenes.

But before he could gloat, he noticed Xiao Yan's rapidly growing power. His face twisted into a cold, sinister look...

Meanwhile, with the arrival of the two Dou Zong experts, the battlefield became even more chaotic and intense.

"Oh? A Dou Zong puppet, no wonder even the Mulan Elders couldn't handle it." Yan Luotian, the golden-robed man, glanced at the fiery Dou Zong puppet with a hint of surprise.

His gaze then shifted slightly toward the young woman on the giant eagle. A trace of apprehension flickered in his eyes. "You even managed to bring the Poison Sect leader here? I hope you didn't promise to split Jia Ma Empire's lands with her too. You wouldn't be using me as free labor, would you?" Yan Luotian's voice grew dark toward the end.

The Mulan Elders exchanged awkward glances. One of them, the bear-headed elder, chuckled and said, "You're overthinking it, Yan Sect Leader. Mulan Valley is a powerful force in the Northwest Continent. We wouldn't go back on our word. If you're dissatisfied with the reward, we can discuss it further. How about this: after we kill Mo Yu, we'll give you his Dou Zong puppet as payment. As for splitting the Jia Ma Empire, if Yunlan Sect refuses, the three of us can easily swallow them whole. Would that satisfy you?"

Yunlan Sect thought they were using Mulan Valley to deal with Xiao Yan and Mo Yu, but the three Mulan Elders had their own plan. They were secretly working with Golden Goose Sect and the Poison Sect to not only defeat Xiao Yan but to swallow Yunlan Sect and divide up the empire.

Hearing the offer, Yan Luotian's expression softened. His eyes gleamed with greed as he looked at the Dou Zong puppet beside Mo Yu.

A Dou Zong-level puppet! If he could get his hands on it, that alone would be a massive profit.

"Very well. I trust Mulan Valley's word. I'll help you out this time." Yan Luotian nodded in agreement. Then, he glanced at the woman on the giant eagle and asked softly, "What do you think, Poison Sect Leader? With the three of us working together, we can easily decide the outcome of this battle."

The Mulan Elders also looked nervously at the veiled woman.

Although they had made a private agreement with her earlier, they feared that the addition of a Dou Zong puppet as payment might upset her.

The woman remained silent, causing the elders to exchange worried glances. They believed their concerns were justified.

Just as the lion-headed elder was about to offer more territory from Jia Ma Empire to appease her, the woman spoke in a calm, detached voice.

"I agree."

The Mulan Elders were stunned for a moment, then overjoyed. "That's great! The Poison Sect Leader truly understands the bigger picture!" they exclaimed.

Yan Luotian smiled in satisfaction. With the Poison Sect Leader on their side, their victory was almost guaranteed.

However, none of them noticed the flicker of emotion in the woman's eyes when she glanced at Mo Yu. Beneath her veil, her face revealed a complex range of emotions, and deep in her eyes, there was an unmistakable hint of joy.

The silent call of the lightning between them confirmed it—Mo Yu was the one she had longed for during all those painful, sleepless nights when her poison body raged within her.

"Heh, Mo Yu, do you still think your Dou Zong puppet can save you now? Surrender, and maybe I'll let you live a little longer," the Mulan Elders sneered, emboldened by their newfound allies.

"Oh? Do you really think you've already won?" Mo Yu chuckled softly, his eyes scanning over the Mulan Elders, Yan Luotian, and the veiled woman.

That brief exchange of glances with the Little Doctor Fairy was enough to tell Mo Yu that she had recognized him too. In that brief moment, Mo Yu knew that she hadn't forgotten the bond they shared in the little valley all those years ago.

Among all the people in the Dou Qi Continent, perhaps Mo Yu was the only one she could call a friend.

Since she hadn't revealed her identity yet, it was clear she had her own plans.

"Hmph, such arrogance from a mere Dou Huang!" Yan Luotian scoffed, taking a step forward.

Before Yan Luotian could act, the veiled woman suddenly interrupted, "Leave him to me."

Yan Luotian was surprised but quickly smiled and nodded. "Fine. If the Poison Sect Leader is interested, I'll let you handle him."

"Thank you," the woman replied indifferently.

As she walked down from the giant eagle, her body radiated an ominous aura, as if shrouded in death. Everyone on the battlefield held their breath, and the people from Mo Yu's faction grew nervous. While they trusted their leader, the Poison Sect Leader's sinister aura made them uneasy.

"You're Mo Yu, right? I'll remember that name," the veiled woman said coldly, as she summoned her Dou Qi. In an instant, a massive gray-purple hand materialized in the air, crackling with eerie, green lightning.

However, as she said Mo Yu's name, no one noticed the subtle change in her voice.

Yan Luotian and the Mulan Elders watched as the woman prepared her attack. Though her behavior seemed a little strange, they thought nothing of it.

"Corrosive Poison Demon Hand!"

As the terrifying hand formed in the air, everyone believed that Mo Yu would be severely injured if not outright killed by the attack. But just as the hand was about to strike, something shocking happened!

The gray-purple hand suddenly veered off course and, instead of striking Mo Yu, it slammed into Yan Luotian.

Caught off guard, Yan Luotian's face twisted in disbelief as he hastily raised his hand to block the blow.

However, his hurried defense couldn't withstand the full force of the Poison Sect Leader's deadly attack. The gray-purple hand smashed through his defenses and struck him squarely in the chest.

"Ugh!"

A mouthful of blood sprayed from Yan Luotian's mouth as his aura instantly weakened.

The entire battlefield froze in shock. Everyone, including the Mulan Elders, was stunned by what appeared to be an internal betrayal.

Yan Luotian stared at the Poison Sect Leader, his face a mixture of anger, confusion, and disbelief. Finally, he couldn't hold back and shouted, "Poison Sect Leader, what are you doing?!"
