Two youths appear on Earth their power levels set everyone on edge and everyone goes to meet them when they get there they meet an older version of Trunks and a slightly older version of Gohan who is more banged up that seems to have scars all over his body also it looks like he almost lost his arm but was able to keep it with a bit of luck the two youths are shocked to see how powerful everyone is as they can only go regular Super Saiyan when Gohan arrives both youth's heads feel like it's going to explode from how high his power level is.
Gohan asks what are you two doing here what you have done is against the rules Trunks says it couldn't be helped in 3 years from now everyone dies to a heart virus and we had to come save everyone Gohan nods then says fine but if you also came for another reason spit it out as we don't have all day Gohan tells his past self about the androids Gohan says we will handle it but if you two want to handle yours come with me and I will prepare you for them they nod put their time machine in a dyno cap then follow Gohan he takes them to the realm he trained the kais before that though Raditz and Nappa go with them as does everyone else gohan sets everything up like usual for now he has it set to 75 times gravity he can set the middle upto 250 the highest the realm can go is 1,000 but no one has ever made it that high before except the grand priest.
For now gohan has them train their base forms before trying to achieve anything beyond what they currently have he gets their base as strong as their Super Saiyan forms are after that he has them master Super Saiyan then he has them try to go beyond it Future Gohan after getting healed properly so he could train same with trunks now is trying to decide what path to go to Gohan goes to super Saiyan 2 Trunks goes super trunks and Super Trunks 2 with that he begins teaching them God Ki all the way to King Kai level it's enough to learn either of the Saiyan God forms Future Gohan learns Saiyan God but when he goes beyond it instead of it turning blue he unlocks Super Saiyan Rose and Trunks unlocks Super Saiyan God as well as it combined with Super Trunks once they have mastered all of their new forms they spar with everyone else to improve their fighting skills.
Once they have sparred with everyone but Gohan Goku Vegeta and Piccolo they leave the realm head back to their own time stronger than ever once veryone else completely masters their techniques and forms they leave as well they take the medicine as soon as they recover once bulma tests to make sure that the medicine did it's job after the data that Trunks gave her she gives everyone the green light to train or do whatever they want to do however before they can do anything else there's an explosion on an island 700,000 miles south east of Ginger Town instead of all of them going to investigate this Bulma and Chi-chi stay at Roshi's house with Goten and Trunks along with Krillin Raditz Piccolo.
In West City, Chi-Chi is shopping with Vegeta and Trunks. Oolong, Master Roshi, Krillin, and Yamcha are standing in line for a pageant that displays the world's most beautiful women. The two groups meet up at some point and start to dine together. Meanwhile, 14 and 15 show up in the city and start causing havoc while trying to find Goku. They happen upon Vegeta instead eating and throw a combined ki blast at his general area; Goku and the others save people from being killed Immediately, Vegeta tells Trunks to take Chi-Chi to safety and has Krillin do the same with the civilians. Vegeta takes them away from the city, noticing that they're only after him. Vegeta then asks who they are, noting that he can not sense their energy, and recognizes them as two of Gero's Androids due to the presence of apparel on their outfits bearing the Red Ribbon logo. Both Androids introduce themselves and start to attack Vegeta Goku shows up to help Goku and tells him to leave the city to avoid more casualties. Goku and Vegeta leave for an uninhabited arctic area with 14 & 15 following. Elsewhere, Trunks leaves Chi-Chi in a safe area, flying back to help his dad (although not before he sternly and bluntly asked his mother whether his studies or Goku's survival against the Androids mattered more when she tried to stop him). Krillin is comically pressured by Chi-Chi to do the same.
Goku & Vegeta fight the two Androids, with a slight edge to the villains. Android 13 then appears & explains that the 3 of them were created to kill Goku; they will do the same to anyone who gets in their way. 13 starts to fight Goku, leaving Vegeta to fight both Androids alone. Goku and 13 exchange blows, with 13 slowly gaining the upper hand. Vegeta is also being beaten by 14 and 15's teamwork. piccolo arrives at the scene to fight (he makes the point that he's doing this so that he himself can kill Goku one day). 15 begins to fight Vegeta while 14 fights Piccolo , leaving 13 to fight Goku.
Gohan and Krillin arrive as well and take cover in a rut. While watching the fights, Gohan wants to help, but Krillin pulls him back, telling him that they don't have the strength necessary to fight with them. The battles continue, with the Androids initially winning. Knowing they can't win this way, Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks all transforming into Super Saiyans. Future Trunks dashes at 14 with his sword in his hand, as Piccolo arrives to assist Goku in his fight. 14 rushes at Future Trunks, but ends up being sliced in half by Future Trunks' Sword.
At the same time, Vegeta punches 15, decapitating him. Android 13, who has been fighting on par with Super Saiyan Goku, sees his allies beaten. Parts of 14 and 15 rise from the ground and fly towards the smiling Android. He absorbs the components, resulting in his transformation into Super Android 13 With his new transformation, 13's power increases greatly, changing the battle's outcome yet again. The Z Fighters attack but are easily beaten. Knowing there is no way they can beat him by themselves, Goku prepares a Spirit Bomb. Meanwhile, Vegeta tries to stop the Android, angrily telling him that Goku's his alone to kill, but he gets blasted by a Energy Wave. Using his remaining energy, Future Trunks attacks Super Android 13, but his sword breaks in the process, and he gets blasted by an energy wave as well. Super Android 13 charges an S.S. Deadly Bomber and Piccolo tries to stop him, but he fails like the others.
Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan and absorbs the finished Spirit Bomb's energy into his body. The remaining ice is destroyed as the land 13 is standing on rises as a single pillar. Goku then destroys 13 with a punch through the chest despite the huge hole in his chest and the explosion Super 13 did not die Gero saved 13 before he could he put a weak copy in front of 13 saved him then put his body on stasis so it would be ready for the grand finale . In the end, Goku and his friends are healing in the hospital, but Piccolo and Vegeta are comically sitting back-to-back on a small portion of ice in the sea, isolated from the celebration.
Meanwhile deep in Dr. Gero's lab his greatest creation is finally waking up there's a huge difference between this version and the future one this one has a ravenous appetite for energy before he even thinks about becoming perfect he is let out of his tank by Dr. Gero or Android 20 Cell wants to kill him but stops knowing that he freed him for a reason Gero says listen Cell I know that you're instincts are screaming to kill me which is fine but wait just one day for your body to adjust and for me to do something to get your powers stabilized Gero manipulates the future cell to come here for the Androids only to find a disfigured looking Cell waiting on him but that same cell gets hungry beats the future Cell up uses it's tail to aborb him and his body glows and shakes just like he does before becoming semi-perfect cell except he becomes imperfect cell.
Cell's mind is being bombarded with memories and knowledge of techniques from the Z fighters from their early days to the to when they fought the Saiyans but that's it also he gets a glimpse of how a past version of himself handled things he also gets all of king Cold's Cooler's and Frieza's memories not only that but his body has finally merged all of the cells from those he has absorbed up until now together making him as strong as semi-perfect Cell he also gets their memories and knowledge the only person he wasn't able to get was Slug and Gohan added to his body but he's fine with that Cell decides to leave Earth to get stronger he heads to each planet absorbs 7 people from each planet then moves on once he reaches the last planet he wants to move to the next universe so he finds Zuno who tells him how for a price of course.
And that's what Cell does he just goes from planet to planet universe to universe absorbing techniques until no one can challenge him eventually he arrives back at Gero's lab he absorbs Super 13 and Super 17 becoming perfect then he creates the cell games arena right where it was in the anime however he doesn't even have to wait 30 seconds before he has a visitor Gohan arrives in front of him smirks then says your power level feels quite strong Cell upon hearing his own name Cell is caught off Gaurd Gohan says relax I'm the one who told Gero to release you 3 years earlier than what you were supposed to be released.
Cell quirks an eyebrow then asks why would you do that Gohan says because in 4 years from now we might completely wiped out anyway so what's the harm in letting you out and It was I who let you meet Zuno so that you could power yourself up even more cell asks why Gohan says because you're going to be on my team of fighters to save the universe and we will be fighting other fighters from other universes Cell smirks then says sounds interesting Gohan says yeah but first we need to train you up so that you can control your powers better.
Gohan takes him to the Lookout everyone is already waiting for him except for Vegeta and Goku the same with Piccolo as they have their own missions everyone else but Gohan goes inside with Cell once inside Cell recreates the ring because Gohan gave them the rules for the Tournament of power and the tournaments on Earth so they just combined them the first up is Krillin who cell still thinks is a weakling with a power of 1400 but that all changes when Krillin moves at speeds faster than should be possible for that power level he also hits harder he actually makes his lip bleed he then notices that each of their base power levels including Krillin's are sitting at 100,000 which means that they are suppressing their real abilities.
So Cell quits underestimating them from here on out and starts sparring with Krillin like he would with Gohan Krillin is thrilled to be taken seriously but doesn't show off any techniques or forms just like Gohan instructed just pure martial arts and speed and strength Krillin loses but he can tell that he's relied on those other things for far too long after the rest fight Cell they come to the same thought but Cell is actually quite worried if this is how good they are when only using their physical abilities how strong are they when they go all out they keep sparring with Cell while also training him to control his powers and helping him with his other abilities once 6 months pass inside Cell has become quite powerful having trained with everyone constantly they helped him unlock Super Perfect Cell.
They also helped him unlock what he calls Tank Cell which is his version of Super Saiyan Grade 3 Cell feels like he can unlock two more forms and then he will reach his limit one he knows that will require help to learn so he asks Raditz for help in alternate energies everyone teaches him demon energy and Demonic Will the energies merge with his cells and he transforms into Golden cell he spends the last 5 months mastering it as best as he can once they leave everyone's power levels skyrocket so much that it hurts Cell's head not expecting that much of an increase what's more is his own power went up as well.
While everyone else was training with Cell Goku and vegeta went to planet Cereal to recruit a new fighter when they got there they were almost attacked by a kid with green hair until Tarble stopped him saying no Granolah that's my brother he's a good guy and he can help us Granolah says maybe so but he could still be working for Frieza just like the heaters Vegeta laughs then says Frieza has been killed already this shocks both of them goku says yeah frieza King Cold and Cooler all dead Tarble asks shakily do you understand what you guys have done to the universe Vegeta asks was it any better with them in it Granolah says he has a point and face it we were training to kill Frieza someday.
Vegeta asks how can we help you Granolah tells them about Gas and the heaters right now Tarble is only as strong as Zarbon and Granolah is only as strong as Jeice Goku mentions that they can help train them after this battle so they get taken to the heaters who are only as strong as the Ginyu force but Gas is as strong as first form Frieza Goku and Vegeta make short work of them in no time and waste no time ending them they take both Tarble and Granolah to Earth after that meanwhile Piccolo arrives on planet Beenz he finds the warrior he was looking for the saiyan Broly except he's become a prisoner because of his love for the captured Cheelai so Piccolo frees her without getting caught he also frees Broly from his restraints.
He takes them to a cave to rest up and heal he gives them a canteen of the juice that Goku made they recover rather well and become stronger than ever however the mental trauma is still there he uses a technique that Slug knows to purge their demons and put it into Abo and Cabo so that when those two die Cheelai and Broly's pain will die with them seeing that he has a month max to help Broly he mentally trains him to prepare for his fight with Abo and Cabo he prepares him with footage on how thise two operate as Gohan made sure to grab ahold of that stuff before hand and Piccolo projects all of it into Broly's mind every technique that they use how they fight their merging including how they like to mentally toy with their opponents once the training was complete Broly now felt that he could end them quite easily.
Broly approaches Abo and Cabo they are shocked that he's free of his retsriants even his shock collar but they still try to taunt him when they threaten his fiancee Broly doesn't even flinch knowing that she's safe he attacks them ready he fights studying their every move to see if it was what he learned from Piccolo some moves caught him off guard but for the most part the battle went how he expected it too with him destroying them once he is panting from exhaustion he hears clapping he turns to see piccolo then asks how long were you watching Piccolo says from the start in fact we both were Broly is annoyed but can't fault Cheelai wanting to see them dead with her own eyes.
Piccolo says we gotta go as there's someone I want you to meet he will help you control your powers in ways that I can't plus if you ask he will make Cheelai stronger as well Broly gets a hopeful expression on his face then asks would he really piccolo says of course he will they leave for Earth they arrive at the same time as Goku and Vegeta once they exit the ships they see Gohan there with Cell instead of saying anything he grabs everyone that was picked up and takes them to the realm of the scroll he has them train in 75 times gravity but puts weights on all of their bodies that's equal to what they can handle he also outs the same seals on them as he has on his own body.
The two most effected are Cell and Broly Gohan makes all of them train until they get used to both the weight and the gravity on their own while he does his own training for the first time in a long time he's training his ape form seriously he's training it in the Volcanic region as best as he can just the regular ape form not the super one once he masters it to the pint that he's not having trouble controlling anything with it he goes to the next level he does the same but can't make it go any further than super saiyan 2 he tries Kaioken with it but is immediately dropped out of his ape form he smirks then keeps trying until he masters Kaioken with it but can only go as high as times 4 with it after that he tries to combine Kaioken with Super saiyan in his ape form but can barely do it he manages to combine Super Saiyan 2 and times 4 Kaioken before his body reverts him to his base form then passes out from exhaustion.
once he makes it back to camp he sees that everyone has finally made it to the training camp in between the two zones and is slowly working on getting stronger after resting for a few more days and taking a senzu bean gohan helps them with their training he helps those weaker than Cell and Broly first while those two try to improve what they already know but the other 3 improve by leaps and bounds under Gohan so much so that they equal what Broly was when he first came here Cell can't beleive their progress neither can Broly who after seeing that requests to trian under Gohan and cell to train with those that Gohan trained gohan agrees and so does the other three eager to test themselves against Cell knowing taht he has limitless techniques for them to learn from him.
The first thing taht Gohan did was test Broly's level of control over his power by having him create a blast as big as he can and hold it for as long as he can Broly does so he creates one as big as a car but can only hold it for 10 minutes which is 1,000 times better than how Gohan started out so Gohan puts Broly through every meditation mental and control exercise that he was put through he also puts him through the Saiyan training regime teaches him both fighting styles has him learn the Ikari form teaches him to control it has him learn the false moon technique puts him through the mid-class exam against Tarble who loses rather badly once that is done instead of moving on he has Broly master the form even under a full moon next he teaches Broly Super Saiyan instead of his hair being golden his is blue with green and purple in it once he masters it broly's hair doesn't change until he goes beyond it than it goes the traditional golden.
He has Broly learn Super Saiyan Grades 2 and 3 he has Broly master them before he teaches Broly Grade 4 then finally Super Saiyan 2 once Broly masters that he is wondering what's next but Gohan tells him that broly only has one more form left to unlock that hhe can teach him before he should strive on his own Broly nods then upon Gohan's advice he trains his base form meanwhile Cell is actually having a tough time with Cheelai Granolah and Tarble without transforming as they aren't any where near his strength but they are making up for it by being strategic with their abilties and using what they have learned against Cell who won't use any powers other than pure speed strength or martial arts against them as he wants to improve to the point that he doesn't need to Broly eventually joins the training with them and Cell eventually reaches his goal but it takes forever.
Gohan takes Tarble he teaches him the saiyan fighting styles and puts him through the same training as Broly he even becomes a mid-class saiyan as well next he teaches Tarble how to become use the Ikari form it's the only form he has and no matter how hard he trains he can't go beyond it with Granolah he only teaches him Kaioken as he doesn't quite trust him but Granolah masters every technique and form of Kaioken he also masters his own powers and abilities Cheelai learns the unlock potential and high tension combo form she trains until she masters both forms by themselves then masters them combined together next Gohan actually starts to train Cell so that he doesn't feel left out he trains Cell and actually has Cell learn how to tap into the grades until he reaches Grade 4 he even has him learn his version of Super Saiyan 2.
Next he trains Cell in his Golden Form and helps him master it so that he won't have any issues once that is done he helps cell master every technique that he has inside his body he even helps cell develop his own unique fighting style which is all of Cell's fighting styles from every video game combined into one he even helps Cell develop his own attacks which is those from every video game next Gohan goes back to Broly he's more through in his training with him than he was before like he was with the others and completely helps Broly master every grade of Super Saiyan until it causes no issues what so ever not only that but he helps Broly learn Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God but in the second form Broly's aura eyes and hair color is green actually being in these forms calms Broly down by quite a bit as God Ki seems to have a calming effect on him.
Broly trains to master these new forms and once he does he trains with the others they help him create his own techniques and fighting style while Gohan trains on his own he's on the cusp of unlocking a major transformation but he can't quite figure out how to achieve it he knows that his god form is somehow tied into it so he's trying to master it like Broly is once done he trains to master his mystic form he still struggles with it as the combined forms that make it up are nowhere near close to being mastered so that's what he does he trains them until he masters them while the others train with each other they all have reached a level where they don't need Gohan anymore so they just train together to become stronger.
Gohan has finally mastered the mystic form he now is working on combining it with his God form he does but it takes alot out of him he keeps doing it until he no longer has issues when he finally does succeed without issues while he's meditating inside his mind he can see his future form but can't quite reach it as he's not strong enough yet so he continues training until he is but no matter how strong he becomes he sees that it's not about strength it's about mental fortitude and the will to achieve the impossible but sadly Gohan doesn't feel the need for such an ultimate power just yet as according to his visions this new form can kill a God of Destruction with ease so he shelves it until he needs it then continues his training until he checks his watch and sees that in another month they will have to leave.
Gohan calls a meeting with everyone then says in one month we will be going back to the regular world if we stay any longer this place will trap us here for all eternity they all get frightened at that warning Cell asks could we leave now Gohan says we could but as soon as we leave none of you will be able to move Cheelai says lets do it Gohan nods then he takes them back to earth they land in the desert 500 miles away from Baba's place they are greeted by Piccolo who knew where they would be arriving at thanks to Whis telling him he can't believe how strong that they have become in only 6 days Piccolo gives each of them a canteen that has a special drink inside of it they each guzzle it down not just because of what it's doing to their bodies but because of how good it tastes.
Once they finished the canteens they are not only back to full strength but stronger as well than when they started this new training with each other Piccolo takes everyone but Gohan to an island to relax he has capsules that have fully stocked houses inside of them Gohan heads to Babba's place when he gets there he sees Dende struggling with the vampire warrior Babba floats to him senses how strong he is then asks what brings you here he says came to check on our future guardian but if he's this weak then I'm not going to bother training him until he is completely trained up as a warrior of Earth Babba nods then says Piccolo has been training him since you have been gone Gohan says that's fine but I won't not until he reaches Spike without any allies fighting to help him succeed he must win each battle on his own.
Baba nods in agreement then says he should complete my training in 2 and half years and Korrin and Kami's training in 2 and half years Gohan nods then says he should do Korrin's now as it takes a max of 6 months she nods but decides to wait to do that Gohan vanishes to the lookout and is shocked to see everyone there waiting for him except Cell and the others Gohan drinks his canteen Piccolo asks who are out 10 members going to be for the tournament of power Gohan says I haven't gotten that far yet but one thing is for sure is that fusion is allowed so Tien Yamcha Mom and Chi-chi need to train together to improve their fusions to see which one is the better one not only that but to improve their ultimate forms so that the fusion doesn't run out while fused which means learning the multi-form technique.
The four mentioned go inside the time chamber to train on everything that Gohan just told them to they come out 3 days later stronger than ever Bulma says Tien and Yamcha's fusion is way stronger than ours also they have surpassed us Gohan says don't be discouraged it was bound to happen to one of your groups eventually which means that you two stay home and protect the planet while we are gone instead of getting mad they nod with proud smiles on their faces Kami with the help of Gohan upgrades the time chamber so that it can fit all of the people competing in the tournament of power for as long as they want but there's a catch they can only stay for as long as there's food otherwise they have to get out.
So Gohan grabs Cell Granolah then takes everyone inside but Kami Raditz Nappa Chi-chi Bulma Mr. Popo and Yajirobe the rest go inside with him he helps them with their training individually first as he sees that they struggle with the ultimate form so he helps them with mastering each form that makes it up including Kaioken once done and they have mastered it he has them make a copy of themselves to work on it while they work on teamwork drills and strategies the only two who need extra training it Goku and Vegeta he helps them unlock Super Saiyan God grade 2 3 4 and it's version of super saiyan 2 once finished he has them create a clone so that they can work with the rest of them to work on teammate drills and strategies he even integrates Granolah and Cell into them once they get passed their differences and get working together fighting against Cell they actually seem to blend together quite nicely.
The only one not participating is Gohan as he is coaching them he's also coaching Cell as well on how to combat that many opponents at once in case he has to in the tournament of power once they finish their training they all have become much stronger Cell takes a break next year they all including Cell fight against Gohan who uses what he taught them against them he uses his special vision to memorize their attack patterens and lkearn their fighting techniques he uses their own moves against them faster than they can use them against Gohan and he takes everyone out in a one sided beat down Cell gets up a first then Piccolo then everyone else Cell asks what everyone else is wanting to know while Gohan is asleep after using it for so long.
Cell asks how was he able to read and predict our every move I could do it because I have your DNA inside of me but still I have to train and learn how to tap into each and everyone of your memories and abilities in order to pull off what he did and I can't even do it to the level that he did the most that i can do is copy your older moves not the ones your using currently Piccolo says it's something that he was born with he can with enough energy in his body and with enough mental energy copy every fighting style energy attack and see every person's attack pattern in real time then use it against them everyone whistles at that not knowing that he had such an incredible ability Vegeta says it comes at a cost if he's just watching what happens then he will be fine but if he has to fight as well on top of that then he will be wiped out because it's a very draining ability.
Granolah says then when he uses it we just have to protect him Piccolo says one problem it's impossible to know when he's using it only the kais or the gods would know how to track that ability and they are not going to help us especially if it's a divine power Granolah says then we get Gohan to tell us Cell says he's not going to give up that kind of info I certainly wouldn't think about it that's kind of a really over powered technique and if we were to ever betray him after this tournament other than learning it's weakness I wouldn't let any other info get out Granolah sighs as he too has an eye power that he doesn't want to reveal either so he's been keeping it hidden but he knows that during the tournament he will have to use it once Gohan awakes he has those that made clones merge with their other bodies then leave the chamber once they exit the others are shocked that they have become so much stronger.
