Khai was afraid that Max might tell P'Pharm about the suspicions they had about P'New and Kit, but kit hit him that Max wouldn't since he also doesn't want P'Pharm to get hurt by the truth. Max was about to explain why he was staring at Som but got interrupted by me. "Wait, Max? Mr top tier player actually has a thing for Som? The very same girl you hated ever since he day you met? Did I miss something or did you hit your head on the way back and lost your memories of your beef with her? Are you really planning cheat P'Ohm out of his girlfriend? Damn Max! You are the man." I said with a smile, patting his should with pride. "Maybe he was mean to her just to cover up his crush," he said, smiling as he studied his reaction. "You better not be thinking you will just do hit and run with her," P'New said, staring daggers at Max. "Oi~~~ Can't you guys have a little bit of faith in me? I'm not that of a player." he said, trying to defend himself but none of us was going to buy his story. We didn't read him in newspapers, we knew exactly who he was. We all looked at each, laughed then looked at him and shook our heads.
"Max, my friend. I'm going to have to be honest with you, you should just give up cause you can never win against P'Ohm. Why don't you just become my wife? I promise to take good care of you." I said, slowly stretching out his hand and grabbed his ass. "Shit Khai! I'm going f**king kill you, you bastard." he said, moving his hand then kicked him. He started chasing him around the room like tom and jerry until it was in the evening. "You two never get tired. And you better behave when we get to the party or else," I said, gazing at them with piercing look. They looked at each other then faked a laugh as they stopped chasing each other and sat down. "Ai Max, why do I feel like we might lose our lunch ticket this month if we mess up?" he said in a pinched voice, pretending to smile at me. "Me too. I had the same thought—that he'd skin us alive if we messed up. Do you really think he would?" His voice was pinched as he faced Khai. They exchanged a look, then both turned to me, eyes wide, and swallowed nervously. The night stretched across the sky, moonlight spilling over the empty streets.
The was a knock at the door. P'Pharm rushed to open the door, knowing very well that it P'New. "Wifey, why are you taking so long? I missed you." he said, acting cute as he cuddled him. "I was busy talking to the juniors." he said, pointing at us. We raised our hands and weaved at P'New who was surprised to see us at P'Pharms place. His eyebrws furrowed, eyes narrow confused as he tried to make sense of us being in his wife's house. Max and Khai busted into laughter when they saw P'New's expression. I gave them hot slaps on the back of their heads. "Do you want to starve." I said with a murderous look, immediately shutting them up. "You three, what are you doing in my wifey's house? Come on get your asses up." he said, clapping his hands together signaling us to hurry and get up. "Awww! Phi, you are kicking us out? Wait, don't tell me you are jealous?" Max said, a teasing smile stretching across his face. "Who wouldn't when he finds 3 wolves in his wife's house? You can't blame for being extra cautious when I have such a beautiful and cute wife like Pharm." he said, softly pinching his chubby cheeks.
"I wish I had someone I could be possessive over too," I said, making everyone turn to me with hopeless expressions. They all pretended to not have heard what I just said and rushed around picking up their things, preparing to leave. "Phi, are we really leaving him like that?" Khai said stopping in his tracks at the door. "That friend of yours is really hopeless. Lets head to the cars first. New, could you bring him?" P'Pharm said, looking at me with hopeless expression before turning to look at P'New with a bright smile. He nodded and went inside to get me while they made their way to the cars. After we arrived, we left for the party.
