It felt really nice seeing how my friends never changed, no matter the difficulty they faced. While I was busy lost in my thoughts, Khai decided to turn the tables to me. "WAIT! How about we ask Wit if what I said is true or not." he said, a cunning smirk stretching from the corner of his lips. "Ai Wit! Wit!" They called out to me, but no matter how much they called I didn't respond. "Shit Wit! Can you stop with your daydreaming thingy, it is starting to get on my nerves. Now is not the time to be daydreaming." he said, his eyebrows twisted into a crooked raise, showing just how annoyed he was. "Says the all time player, who got told off by a girl." I said, tilting my head to his side with a mocking expression. "Bet your ass is so embarrassed that you are thinking of becoming gay. Hahaha!" I said, busting into laughter, unable to hold it in. "Hahaha!" Khai joined in, and we started laughing his head. "I remember that one time you first got dumped by your girlfriend of 2 years. He cried the whole day without stopping. Who would have thought the 14 years old cry baby Max would turn into an all time player that got told off by a girl? Hahaha!"
I said, punching it up as we busted into another laughter. "Shit! Ai Wit!" he said, picking up a pillow and started hitting us with it as we fell on the bed. This reminded us of the love, friendship and memories we shared as we grew together. To us, our friendship was more than about looking out for each other, helping each other score girls or even boys. We were each others' family and pillar of support, no boy or girl can come between us. While we were busy pillow fighting, someone kicked the door open. It was P'New and from his expression, I thought he had come to confront Max about following Kit. He walked towards the bed and grabbed Max with the collar of his shirt. "Wait! Wait, lets talk calmly about this. About the restaurant incident, I wasn't really doing what you are thinking I was. I was just...." he said, trying to explain himself, but cut off before he could finish his sentence. "Why were you busy staring at Lay at the restaurant? And why did you take it out on the poor girl when you realized she was gone? Damn! How could you ruin such a hard earned reputation just like that?
You really ruin our reputation as players." he said, loosening his grip as he held his waist, wishing he could find a hole and hide himself. " Wait, what? Oi~~~~Phi! You scared the shit out of me. Wait, what do you mean our reputation as players? Why are you counting yourself in when you are already in a relationship? Are you cheating on P'Pharm?" he said, changing his expression from being scared to an intimidating one. "Oi~~~~ Cheating my foot. How can I cheat on a rare finding like my sweet wife? Just because I'm in a relationship doesn't mean I'm not a player. I'm just a tamed player." he said, giving him a teasing eyebrow wiggle. "Oh! Is that so?" P'Pharm said, walking into the room, his brows knitting tightly in annoyance, staring daggers at P'New. At that moment we saw what they meant when they said even a legend still kneels to his wife. We slowly tiptoed out the room that was filled with murderous energy, not wanting to be a sacrificial lamb for P'New. We were about to leave the room when P'Pharm said something that made us stop at our tracks.
"And where do you think you are going? You are the main ingredients for this dish." he said, slightly turning his head to look at us, his gaze filled with murderous intent. And at that moment we realized that one wrong word, we are all dead. We all stood still, our eyes filled with fear. "TALK!" he said, his voice menacing with authority. Me and Khai pointed fingers at Max, scared to hell by his tone. "Ah! P'Pharm Khrap, can we please talk about this calmly. You're scaring me," he said, his whole body shaking with fear as he tried reason with him.
