"Smack!" he held the back of his head, his eyes widen with shock, caught off guard by the slap. He slowly turned to look at Som who was also shocked by the slap. They busted into laughter after seeing the expression they had on their faces. It was nice seeing Kit smile without having anything to worry about. Lately he was either spacing out or buried in his books, which made Lay and Som very worried. Seeing his laughing put their hearts at easy because it meant that whatever is bothering him hasn't yet consumed him wholly. After watching the series, they went to a mall to help him relax a bit. They went in and out of every shop in the mall only to come back empty handed because he didn't find anything he liked. After 2 hours of going in and out of the shops, he finally found something he really wanted to do. "It would have been nice if a person could just lie down and be given a full body massage. Aha! I know what I want to do." he said clapping his hand sin an excitement as he pulled Lay and Som away. They got into their ride and left for the spa. After they got there, they got massage, facial treatment and nail treatment.
Everything was going well until they noticed something very strange. Max was following them everywhere they went, from when they were at the mall, spa and the restaurant. "Is it me or Max has been following us around ever since from the mall up to now?" Lay said her eye brows knitted together, puzzled by his actions. "No, it's not." They said simultaneously as they slightly turned their heads to look at him. The moment he saw their heads tuning he pretended to be looking at the menu. "I have a plan." Som said, a sly smile crept onto her face as she raised her hand to call the waitress. The waitress saw Som's hand up and walked towards her to help her. "Hi, my friend over there has been stealing glares at you ever since he came in. I think he finds you cute but is afraid to tell you." she said as she pointed out at Max was hiding behind the menu, pretending to be looking for something to order. She smiled, turned around and walked towards his table. She approached him and started flirting with him while pretending to take his orders. Max got distracted trying to send the girl away, which gave them a chance to ran away while he wasn't looking.
When he turned around to check us, he found no one there. He got annoyed and banged the table, startling the waitress. "Could you stop it. What makes you think I would be interested in someone like you? Did you even take a look at yourself in the mirror before coming here?" he said, annoyed as he stood up and started pointing a finger at her. "What the hell? Who the hell do you think you are to talk to me like that? Have you ever seen yourself? What makes you think that I would be interest to a fly like you? Being interest in a guy like you is like cursing yourself. A guy like you with ill manners, lack of respect and self-introspection? If I were you, I would soon pay up the bill and go do some self- introspection at home before acting at cool. Narcissism is a psychological disorder, you should get it treated before it's too late." she said fuming with anger as she poked his left should. His bubbled was busted, everyone started laughing at him. He had never thought that he would one day be kicked off his high horse by a waitress .
Things were not going well for him, he had already messed up the mission and now he is being told off by a waitress. He took out his wallet, payed off the bill and left embarrassed. When he got to his room, he was looking like a broiler chicken that was caught in rain. We were shocked to see him so quiet as if he wasn't there at all . At first we thought he got rejected by a girl but after he told us what had happened, we laughed his head off reminding him of the people from the restaurant. "Don't laugh, this isn't funny. You don't know how embarrassed I was." he said, burying his face in a pillow as the memories came flashing back in his head. "Well, you kind of deserved it. No matter how angry you are, you can't just look down on people like that just because she was flirting with you when you weren't interested in her." Khai said, standing up from the bed and went to get him water. He sat upright on the bed and placed the pillow on his lap. "Ai Khai! Whose friend are....." He handed him a glass of water to drink before he could finish his sentence. "Gulp! Gulp! Gulp! Thanks."
He said, handing him the glass after gulping down the water in one go. "As I was saying, I was just annoyed she made me lose sight of Kit." he said, words slipping his tongue. [Damn, my tongue slipped] He thought to himself, his eyes widen with fear, darting around the room. "Ai Max, why were you following Kit?" I asked, staring daggers at him. Khai also joined in and stared daggers at him. He felt cornered and decided to tell the truth. "Oh! So that is why you were angry at the waitress. She flirted with you, because you couldn't resist her beauty, you lost sight of Kit and took it out on her?" he said, teasingly as he waggled his brows, his right hand on his left shoulder. "Shit Khai, do you really think I care more about girls than about my friend's happiness?" he said, shrugging off his hand on his shoulder. "Once a womanizer, always a womanizer." he said, pouting as he pinched his voice hoping he didn't hear him. "Shit Khai! I'm going to kill you." he said, throwing a pillow at him and chased him around the room. I went to the toilet and came back while still chasing him.
