Throughout the hallways Stentin wandered, Hattie's lies playing through his mind.
'Stentin you're overthinking things… Hattie is known to be a liar and furthermore His Majesty loves Milady, or else why would he put in such decrees… Nobody in their right mind would go through all that trouble just to deceive someone… His love for her is deep… I can't feed into Hattie's lies…'
He continued mindlessly walking through the halls, pondering his thoughts, ignoring his surroundings…

Gabrielle bumped into him, losing her balance, breaking his train of thought. He quickly grabbed hold of her, making her drop roses all over the floor.
Her eyes met his as embarrassment painted her cheeks a soft red.
She quickly caught her balance, standing to her feet, she pulled herself out of his grip.
"I'm sorry," She apologized, embarrassment warming her face, "I really need to start paying attention to where I'm going."
