Most of Isabel's body was buried in rubble but her head was still exposed as that was Ozia's principal focus for his punches.
He wished badly to pound her head into a mushy mess, but he couldn't.
Currently, his fist was just a few inches away from touching Isabel's face which was still covered in that golden sheen.
Ozia's expression was dark and his eyes were becoming more terrifying. He blinked, sighed, and stood up.
Levitation runes lit up on his feet and he floated out of the crater, leaving Isabel there.
Isabel, who had kept her eyes closed for most of the beat down, noticed the lack of punches and opened her eyes.
She saw Ozia calmly floating out of the crater, bringing her relief.
'Did the king come to save me?' Isabel asked herself, willing to be delusional to find peace in her heart.
