"What we do encompasses everything in this world, yet we fail to live for ourselves. Is it possible, even at this point, to tell ourselves that we can act for our own sake?"
It turns out that everything lacks sufficient reason; nothing can truly provoke a reaction; it's all because others never act for themselves. Hence, no matter how we speak or act, it's all the same and acceptable. Let them think as they wish, let them act as they please.
Since none of this is what they desire, none of it can allow them to possess, none of it can make them aware, none of it can permit them to act. If forgetting is the boldest approach, they also wish to forget everything.
