Chapter 405 - Chapter 405: Realignment Protocol

After delegating tasks, Shin ignored the personal gains he had accumulated.

In addition, he uploaded the bloodline limit he had previously acquired into the Red Queen's database, hoping to convert the techniques into standard ninjutsu.

Theoretically, if someone's chakra network encompasses all seven elemental attributes, they could replicate any jutsu associated with the Sharingan, Rinnegan, or other ocular powers (such as Tsukuyomi, Kamui, and Universal Pull) through ninjutsu. The only limitation would be the complexity of the jutsu.

Furthermore, the newly evolved biochip, now enhanced through Red Queen's research, had gained the ability to manipulate chakra directly. Far superior to any ordinary human, the chip could control even the subtlest structure of chakra. No matter how complex the ninjutsu, it could be executed almost instantaneously by Shin.

In other words, as long as the foundational principles behind any jutsu could be analyzed, Shin could transcend the limits of the Otsutsuki clan's bloodline entirely.

The Otsutsuki bloodline, which had once significantly boosted his strength in the early stages, had now reached its limit and could no longer keep pace with his growth.

While the chakra power system might contain infinite potential, the Otsutsuki bloodline clearly did not have the capacity to evolve alongside it.

After resolving the necessary matters, Shin didn't linger. Time was still ticking in the Marvel Universe.

Next, he traveled to the One Piece World and sought out Vegapunk, the Chief Scientist of the New World Government. He brought a large number of samples containing the X-gene.

His time at Xavier's Academy had not been in vain. He had even collected a severed hand from Apocalypse, blown off during their battle.

In addition, he uploaded the full memory set of Mr. Sinister. With all this data, plus scientific minds like Vegapunk and Judge, both renowned for their work on bloodline factors, Shin believed they could create mutant genes capable of replicating all abilities, much like the adaptive Sentinels in the original timeline.

Vegapunk examined the samples provided by Shin and reviewed Mr. Sinister's research approach. He confidently assured him that, within a few months, a new synthetic X-gene could be developed, one capable of simulating the transformation of any mutant power.

In the realm of science, even within the pirate world where obscure high technology ran rampant, Vegapunk stood above the rest. In fact, thanks to the influx of interdimensional research materials and his upgraded biochip, Vegapunk might not be inferior even to the scientists of the Marvel Universe.

Hearing Vegapunk's promise, Shin felt reassured and returned to the Marvel World.

Thor lay in a mental hospital in New Mexico, staring blankly at the ceiling in despair.

"It's gone. It's all gone."

His divine power, armor, and weapons had all been stripped away. He was as weak as an ordinary human.

Days earlier, following a confrontation with the Frost Giants, an enraged Odin had cast Thor down to Earth.

He regained consciousness soon after crashing through the Rainbow Bridge, crying out to his father mid-fall, begging for a second chance.

It was useless. The Rainbow Bridge responded solely to Odin's will, and Thor plummeted directly to Midgard.

Climbing out of the crater, Thor tried to take flight and summon Mjolnir. But nothing happened. He was now a mortal.

With no one around, he had no choice but to follow the sunrise, staggering through the desert wasteland.

Originally, he should've been struck by Jane Foster's car, and thanks to his godly appearance, taken in by her and her colleagues. Upon hearing news of Mjolnir, he would've tried to reclaim it, only to be detained by S.H.I.E.L.D.

Eventually, he would've reunited with the Warriors Three and fought Loki's Destroyer, regaining his powers.

But this time, the timeline had already been disrupted.

Because of Shin, the X-Men hadn't intercepted Magneto's scheme. No one knew how many officials died during the multinational summit. The result was widespread chaos, particularly given the high number of mutants present and the mounting tensions.

For months, America had been on the hunt for mutants. But mutants weren't made of powerless, the stronger ones had risen in resistance, plunging the country into turmoil.

In such a scenario, Jane Foster had no time or reason to chase astronomical phenomena with a ragtag group of researchers.

As a result, when Thor finally stumbled upon a small town, he was arrested after eating and drinking without paying and claiming to be the Norse God of Thunder.

With no one to verify his identity, he was labeled delusional and committed to a mental institution.

Even S.H.I.E.L.D. was slow to respond to the appearance of Mjolnir. Their attention had been fixed on the mutant crisis. By the time they investigated the hammer's impact site, more than two weeks had passed and they hadn't located Thor.

Meanwhile, Loki, quite pleased with how events were unfolding, saw no need to interfere further. Since he remained in Asgard, the Warriors Three and Lady Sif never found a reason to leave and search for Thor either.

Thus, through a series of cascading failures, Thor had spent nearly a month locked in a mental ward.

He had made several escape attempts early on, but after enduring repeated zaps from stun batons and the facility's electric fences, he finally learned that even gods fear electricity.

After a solid week of shocks, Thor now resembled any other mental patient, quiet, compliant, and no longer claiming to be Asgardian royalty.

Still, deep inside, Thor never stopped plotting his escape. The electrical punishment had knocked more than just sense into him, it had forced his brain, once full of brawn and lightning, to finally consider things strategically.

He now understood the value of patience and adaptability, even if his goal remained the same.

At that moment, in New Mexico, near the location of Mjolnir, a shimmering portal appeared, and three people stepped through.

Quicksilver scanned the surroundings impatiently.

"Where's the mess we're supposed to clean up? The Ancient One said it'd be here."

Shin looked at the two figures beside him. When he'd returned to Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One had made it clear that he was responsible for fixing the butterfly effects he had caused.

Fortunately, Scarlet Witch was now barely able to control her chaotic power, at least well enough not to lose control outright, so the Ancient One had sent both her and Quicksilver to assist him.
