After Thor left, Anton informed Donatello, who was in the sewer lab, about Odin situation.
It worth mentioning that during Tony pursuit of Ultron, another artificial intelligence was created.
However, compared to Ultron and JARVIS, this new AI, named "Friday" by Tony, did not inherit the intellectual prowess of its predecessors.
Of course, after the Ultron incident, Tony had become somewhat wary of artificial intelligence.
In some ways, Friday intelligence was almost on par with that of a simpleton.
Tony understood that only such a conservative approach would allow artificial intelligence to continue existing.
In this world, there would no longer be AIs like JARVIS or Ultron that possessed a certain level of human-like reasoning logic.
As a gesture of cooperation with the Justice League, Tony granted every member access to Friday.
Donatello was the one who favored Friday the most and was also one of the people who could maximize Friday potential.
"No problem, I'll handle this task," Donatello assured after receiving orders from Anton. "As long as Odin appears on Earth, I'll definitely be the first to know."
Anton felt fairly confident in Donatello and nodded. With a thought, he dispatched a Superman clone, who, using a telepotation device, returned to the vast cosmos.
The knowhere.
This famous wandering planet in the universe had been severely damaged in a massive battle between Superman and the Kree fleet, a planet formed from the remains left by a legendary celestial being.
The cities that had once stood tall were mostly crushed by the Kree ships.
Fortunately, the inhabitants of The knowhere were accustomed to war and had quickly rebuilt their city.
Now, this planet on the edge of the universe had already returned to its former bustling and lively state.
Various black market transactions were still going on vigorously.
At the same time.
There was a new topic of discussion among them.
It concerned the information about the powerful being who had dared to fight against the Kree, a cosmic overlord-level power, not long ago.
Starlin Bar.
"Superman!"
Someone raised their glass and shouted: "The man name is Superman, Clark Kent. This is news from Earth, you know, Earth has just opened up to alien immigration.
I have a friend on Earth who got information about Superman. I'm certain that the man who took down the Kree fleet that day was Superman, Clark Kent!"
"Right, I've also received this intelligence."
Another person at a different table slammed the table: "They say Superman is a Kryptonian, but I've never heard of such a powerful planet..."
"You're out of touch, Krypton has been destroyed. There only one Kryptonian in the entire universe, and that Superman."
The bar patrons who had information about Superman had already started discussing enthusiastically.
Many people took it as a matter of course.
During this time, all sorts of information about Superman had become the most captivating topic on the entire planet.
Many were eyewitnesses to that battle.
The memory of the battle scenes remained vivid and fresh in their minds.
Before Superman appeared, they had never imagined that a single life form could possess such terrifying power.
While the proportion of super-powered beings in the universe compared to Earth is lower, the base number is still high, especially among the wanderers who dare to traverse the cosmos, who are among the elite. Therefore, people in the universe are accustomed to super-powered individuals.
Even so, no one had anticipated that someone could descend like a god and single-handedly resist a fleet.
That was dozens of ships with powerful combat capabilities.
On some planets with a lower level of civilization, such a fleet had the power to destroy everything.
Yet, this fleet was defeated by one man with his fists alone.
The Kree Empire was furious upon receiving this news.
Rumors had it that their leader, Ronan, was beside himself with rage.
But since the incident, no one knew exactly what measures the Kree had taken against Superman.
It was only vaguely known through certain channels that the enmity between Superman and the Kree was not simple.
It involved other major figures.
Moreover, Superman seemed to have a companion who was also the sworn enemy of the Kree.
Besides that, various pieces of information were mixed, thoroughly muddying the previously clear waters, making it impossible for anyone to discern which were true and which were false.
"It seems that your appearance and background have really puzzled quite a few people."
Still at Starlin Bar, in a corner, a blonde woman raised her glass to the muscular man in casual clothes across from her and laughed,
"According to my information, the Kree have already issued a kill order on you, and Thanos has begun to track you down, seemingly unable to forget the Power Stone in your possession."
"Thanos won't give up on the Infinity Stones."
Superman was calm, "All this is within my expectations."
"We won't talk about the Kree for now, as long as they don't come with the entire military force of their planet, they pose no threat to you or me. The main concern is Thanos."
Carol slightly furrowed her brows, eyeing the imposing Superman across from her, trying to discern his confidence, which seemed to stem not only from his strength but perhaps from something else.
She hadn't had much interaction with Superman, but she was somewhat familiar with his background.
The Black Widow, her old friend and companion, Nick Fury, had just left Earth not long ago, having gathered ample information about the Justice League.
According to Nick Fury, the Justice League seemed to have a strong network of information in the cosmos.
It now appeared that this network came from Superman.
Thus, Carol speculated that Superman, aside from his own strength, might secretly control some intelligence organization, having a certain degree of penetration into the affairs of the Kree and Thanos.
Otherwise, it would not explain why Superman was so certain of Thanos desire for the Infinity Stones.
Carol could see that Superman seemed to know Thanos purpose in gathering the Infinity Stones.
"Do you know what kind of powerful being Thanos has sent to hunt you down?"
She spoke seriously, "Before joining us, Gamora was Thanos adopted daughter and one of the people he trusted most. She understands Thanos team far better than we do..."
"The Black Order, or rather, Thanos children, Ebony Maw, Black Dwarf, Corvus Glaive, and Proxima Midnight... Perhaps my knowledge of them is not less than Gamora."
Superman said, raising his glass to Carol and smiling, "Don't worry, the Black Order might be formidable, but they are nothing special. Thanos legion is indeed a force to be reckoned with in the universe, but without Thanos, they are nothing."
"You make me uneasy."
Carol said gloomily, "I always feel like you have an ulterior motive for your revenge against Thanos."
She admitted she was getting carried away.
After encountering Superman in the cosmos and learning from him about Thanos and the Kree conspiracy, she partnered with him to take revenge against both.
She didn't regret this action.
As someone who had been headstrong in the universe for years, this was in line with her style of doing things.
The reason for her gloom was because Superman always maintained an aloof and superior demeanor, directing her and her companions.
This made Carol feel as though everything she did was merely paving the way for Superman.
"Whatever my motives are, they won't harm Earth or humanity."
Superman openly admitted.
He and Carol didn't have a strong relationship, so to build one, being honest with each other was the first step.
Moreover, although Carol might be headstrong, she wasn't foolish.
"So, you're saying everything you do is for the benefit of Earth and humanity?"
Carol caught the implication in his words.
"Yes."
Superman nodded, "However, I can't tell you what exactly I'm going to do."
Even if he now told Carol that he was collecting the Infinity Stones to prevent Thanos from erasing half of the universe sentient beings, she probably wouldn't believe him.
Instead, she might see him as a charlatan, and a poorly skilled one at that.
"Alright then, I won't pry further."
Carol knew that Superman had never done anything to harm Earth, and in fact, he had been the one to save it from crises.
Now, most people on Earth regarded Superman as a legend.
The adoration Earthlings had for Superman far surpassed their respect for her, a powerful Earthling.
After all, Carol had never appeared in the public eye of Earthlings.
Only a few high-level officials and documents mentioned that she had saved Earth before Superman ever did.
Fortunately, Carol was not one to chase after fame and fortune, so she didn't mind.
Otherwise, if Carol had any jealousy, her conversation with Superman would not have been so harmonious.
"Enough small talk, you contacted me from across the universe to discuss what?"
After catching up, Superman looked at Carol, slightly puzzled.
The reason his original self had split him off and sent him back to the universe was purely because he had received a message from Carol.
It seemed there was something important she needed to tell him.
From the expression she had during their conversation, the Kree and the Black Order were not the focus of this dialogue.
"Even if the Kree and the Black Order turn their sights on me, they won't be able to find me in a short time,"
Superman said, "As long as I don't go knocking on their door, they'll always be blind flies, unless, they decide to go to Earth and stir up trouble..."
"I had overlooked that."
Carol expression changed slightly, then she relaxed, "Thankfully, I haven't received any intel about them heading to Earth..." She paused, then added,
"I reached out to you because of the Ravager team of Yondu that we took down a while ago."
"Oh?"
Superman raised an eyebrow, quite surprised.
"It can't be because another Ravager team plans to avenge Yondu, right?"
He asked curiously, "As far as I understand, Yondu Ravager team isn't recognized by other Ravager teams, apparently because Yondu did something many years ago that shamed them, so he been ostracized..."
"After Yondu death, there hasn't been much movement from other Ravager teams. They may like to band together, but Yondu was indeed the one they ostracized,"
Carol nodded, "Just as you said, they believe Yondu actions over the years have tarnished the reputation of the Ravagers, so they don't acknowledge him as one of their own."
"So, what I'm about to say definitely isn't about other Ravager teams, but about Yondu own team, or rather, one particular individual from that team, a dead man."
After saying this, a thought struck Superman.
"Star-Lord?"
He seemed to realize something, "Peter Quill, our greedy compatriot who was taken out?"
"Yes, his background is somewhat unusual."
Carol looked at Superman in surprise, not expecting him to guess so quickly and accurately, then said,
"Now, Peter Quill body has been dug up by people from another Ravager team and taken to his biological father..."
"Since Yondu was taken out by us, I left some spies in The knowhere to see if other Ravager teams would seek vengeance for Yondu...
It turns out, Yondu really was a detestable fellow, but this also let me find out that this Peter Quill guy, his identity is somewhat unusual..."
"Peter Quill biological father seems not to be an Earthling, and he has considerable influence in the universe, at least, the team he employs is very expensive, several times the cost of hiring Yondu team, which says a lot..."
She explained in detail, but was suddenly interrupted by Superman.
"In short, this Peter Quill guy is only half-human, his father is not ordinary, and you still haven't found specific information about him."
Superman summarized.
"Yes."
Carol didn't mind being interrupted, nodding, she asked, "What do you think?"
"Don't bother searching anymore."
Superman said, "Leave this matter to me, if there trouble, I'll handle it."
Looking at Superman calm demeanor, Carol was a bit shocked, then suddenly asked,
"You know, don't you? You know the identity of Peter Quill biological father, maybe you knew from the moment you met Peter Quill that he wasn't purely human!"
"Yes."
Superman shrugged, "You're right, I've known from the start."
"So, who exactly is he, and could he pose a threat to us?"
Carol asked, her tone edgy.
She was starting to feel somewhat angry, although she always suspected Superman was keeping things from her, speculation is one thing confirmation can breed resentment.
"The probability that he poses a threat to us is very low."
Superman explained, "Peter Quill biological father is a planet, a living planet named Ego. In a way, he doesn't have typical human emotions.
The reason he fathered Peter Quill was also for other purposes. In fact, he has offspring on various life-bearing planets across the universe, numbering in the millions—an alarming figure."
He paused, then concluded decisively, "So, I believe he wouldn't care about the death of one of his offspring... even if this particular offspring were considered valuable to him."
