After listening to Nolen's narrative of his life, Ella recalled about how emotions aren't good or bad, they are energy. The question is where you aim them, aim anger at yourself, you self destruct, aim that at your weakness, you solve, as anger at mediocrity is fuel not failure. Nolen is one of the few people who embrace the shadows and that is what makes him a well respected individual. Light and shadows are inseparable. And if you never embrace the shadows, you will never see the light.
Ella and Sion bid their farewell and began unpacking their bags after they reached their home when all of a sudden they heard a gentle knock on the door. It was Mr.Thomeson next door. He was retired professor who is enjoying his leisure days by writing which includes some of the dusty old first traditions. Mr. Thomeson spoke,"Oh, it's been ages since I last saw you lovely couple, I saw the door was unlocked and came by to greet you fellows, I heard from Mrs. Smith (bakery lady in their locality) that Ella was looking for me, I was away for receiving my literature award.",boasting loudly and smiling as he was busy tooting his own trumpet. Sion gave him a cheerful smile and congratulated him, then invited him over with a cup of strong black tea and sweet bread from Mrs. Smith's bakery which they brought along the way, it was one of Mr. Thomeson's favourite combinations.
