I strained to turn my head with all my might. The direction I faced revealed a woman dressed in a lab coat, her expression warm yet professional. Her presence felt both comforting and distant, as if I was caught between two worlds—uncertain of what was real and what was not.

"W-where am I?" I managed to ask, my voice trembling.

In the dimly lit room, a doctor in a lab coat sat calmly in a chair, her benevolent smile reassuring yet distant. "It's a hospital. You were in a severe accident. Do you remember what happened?" she said gently.

I wanted to ask more—where exactly was this hospital? But as soon as her words settled, my mind was assaulted by a flood of memories. A sharp, intense pain in my right eye pierced through the haze, forcing me to grunt and suppress the agony.
