"How was it, Nova?" the other student from the same class as him asked Nova when he saw Nova walk out of the test room.
"I…I don't know either." Nova seen alittle sad, it was as he expected, but some question seem abit off. "Noah, did you get the same exam code as mine?"
"Uh…mine was 1006."
"Oh…mine was 1007…"
"Does the question from your paper ask about the details of the man's character, too?" Noah lead in abit closer to look at Nova exam question that he hold on his hand.
"Yes! But…"
"This one, I have no idea how to answer it, too…I just write what I feel was right."
"I never expected it to pop up here…"
"Same…"
They look at each other, a little disappointed and scared of what their homeschool teacher will say if the point did not go so well…
"Just two more days to go~" Noah said with determination
"Yes…two more..."
As they were chatting about how their friend might be doing, Riley walked out of the room with a dark face.
"Class president!" Noah called him over
"Oh…hi guys…"
"You…also got that weird question, too? Class president?" Nova asks as he lowers his eyes to look at Riley's question paper in his hand.
"Uh…! Hate to say it but…dam it…" Riley bitting his lips with a bitter face: "I should have read over all of the recommed question the teacher gave me…"
Noah sighs before admitting the truth. "It's fine~ class president, we can't do anything about it. To be honest, I think whoever thinks of such a question just wants us to go insane…I swear I never saw this on any of the recommed question the teacher taught us about…" Looking back at his own question paper with his sleepy eyes, Noah can only pray for what is to come next. Good point~ bad point~ whatever it is, we can't change the past now…
"Tck."
As they hear a bitter voice echo through the hallway. The terror took over Noah, he slowed his gaze and moved behind Nova when the footstep come closer and closer.
"Noah…?" Nova suddenly jumped when Noah moved fast to his backside, but eventually calmed himself down.
Looks like another acquaintance of theirs is having a bad time…
"Vice president, president council…" Riley slightly moved his head down to welcome the appearance of their important member of the school council.
"Seems like you're having a hard time, too, Riley!" The president's council is still as cheerful as always.
"Yes…" Riley does feel quite disappointed in himself…
"Well…guess we lose this bet together…" The president's council signed and wished he could just run back to their school and have some tea in peace and quiet.
Even the vice president is not in her best mood today.
Two more days…just two more…
"I wonder what Cupid's doing right now…" As Nova whispered, the others were standing close enough to catch it.
"He must be doing something strange again…" Riley said in a low voice: "Seriously, I have no idea how that guy always found new things to do."
Nove giggles, yes, that's Cupid for y'a. He strangely lack of some commen sense and will go around doing things he likes.
"You make me curious about it too~" Noah whispers right behind Nova.
"Must be something fun, I wanna join in with you guys sometime too, you know~ But so much paperwork and student problems to deal with…" The president council might be a hard-working one, but he is still just a teenager like them after all.
"Hey guys~!" Finally, another familiar face joins in: "What ya talking about?"
"Liu, how was your test?" Nova asks with a gentle voice.
"Fine, I guess." Liu's face also looks as bad as all the other but not for the same reason. He wasn't able to eat any sweet treat for 2 days now, he feels like his mouth will turn bitter soon if he doesn't get home and chew on his favorite corn candy.
The test room bans any food, even just one small candy is not allowed; if this is like how their school is, he can just sneak a candy or two into his mouth. But this is a test room, at a gifted school, they watch your every dam movement, he can't just do as he likes, the teacher will catch him red-handed…Liu doesn't think he can take it any longer…
"You guys were talking about Cupid, right?" Liu asks: "If I'm right, he would be study at the same room with Heos right now."
"Ah, they put the two classes into one room since there are fewer students now." Riley nodded, remembering what the teacher said to him about this, and told him to announce it to all class A-2 member that doesn't take the gift test.
Cupid is with Heos…? Nova surprice. Will they be alright…he hopes Cupid doesn't do anything to him…
Cupid can be a bit…threatening sometimes when someone come to close to Nova or makes him feel uncomfortable. It's a bad hobby, pick up from what happened back in their childhood days, Nova realizes that, but he doesn't really think there's a reason to stop Cupid…He's quite reasonable when he tries to protect Nova, and if Nova doesn't want it, Cupid will stop.
Cupid is the one understand Nova more than anyone out there, so he, too, believes in Cupid and trusts he will not overreact.

Have you ever wondered what happens when you accidentally knock someone's milk to the ground, and they start chasing you. Have you ever wondered just how bad your chance of survival is when the one chasing you is the person who won second place at the running contest at your school's winter festival last year?

"Boiling water! Mind if you get out of the way?!" Heos runs like he never has before, never, never has he moved his legs this fast! Even if he is being chastised by his own sister for accidentally eating the food that she put in the fridge for two days.
His brain is begging him to stop and just apologize to Cupid, but his legs don't want to give up just yet!
And every time he turns back, Cupid looks like he's about to end Heos life here and now. Maybe he could just snap Heos' neck and smash him to the ground like those strong characters in fighting games…anything but that…
He runs through the yard and enters the hallways, back to the way where the cafeteria is, before regretting his own choice. God, there are so many people here!
'What if I accidentally run into someone?!'
"Mind get out of the way?!" Heos slightly louder his voice so others can avoid him when he run throught the hallway.
The more he looks back, the closer Cupid gets; he's closing the distance! Way too fast!
He looked back ahead and saw his only chance, the parking lot! They just run from the end of the school, halfway through the middle of their school already?!
Heos quikly run out to the parking lot and takes a turn, how's that!
Thinking he could finally slow Cupid down, until he heard the footstep somewhere still so near him, as he looked to the right, he saw Cupid still running through the inside school hallway, his shadow flickering from the school glass window.
Why is he running in the hallway? What does this guy plan to do?!
Until he reached the near end of the parking lot, Cupid jumped over one of the open windows and closed the distance with Heos.
"Y…You can even do that?!" Heos scream in terror.
The school hallway on the ground floor wasn't that tall from the ground outside the yard, but the wall barrier is as tall as half of their body, to actually jump over and land on the ground with such speed feels so inhuman to Heos…
Though other taller students can also do that if they try, Cupid isn't that tall, but he does it so smoothly, as if this isn't his first time.
Heos, shocked by the jump, was immediately being cornered by Cupid at the near end of the parking lot.
"If you run, I snap you down to the dirty…" Cupid said in a low threaten voice.
"I…I'm so so so so sorry, sir. I won't, I give up…" Heos falls on his knee like a losing horse. "Please have mercy on me…"
"..."
"I…I can…reciting the Bible if you…want…"
"You can do that?"
"I can…try?"
As Cupid frowned at him for a little longer, then sighed a small breath: "I just want to threaten you a little, who knows you would actually get scared and run away like that…"
"Y…you?!" so he…was being spare this time…? "You were just…threaten me…?"
Heos looks like he's going to cry, not out of terror but out of relief. So…he gets to live for another day, it seems…thank god…
"Apologize if that actually freaks you out." Cupid now looks calm and carefree again, justifying his action. "It's just a reflex when I saw you run, my body moved and ran after you."
Cupid was questioning why Heos was running away from him in the first place. When he approached Heos with fast speed, Cupid was just trying to scare him a little…who knew he was that scared of such things…
"Thank you…" Heos said with gladness in his voice.
'I will never make Cupid milk slit, never in my life…I thought heaven had come to pick me up just a few minutes ago…' as Heos promised to himself to never touch Cupid milk again, they hear footsteps running their way, carrying with heavy breath sound.
"Uh…hm…uhm…"
Both Cupid and Heos look over to see a girl at the other end of the parking lot, both hands on her knee, and breathing like her lungs just give up on her any time soon.
"Yunne…" Cupid slowly walks over.
Is she trying to catch up with them?! Heos surprises and follows Cupid over.
It would be understandable if Yunne can't catch up with them. Heos and Cupid are both monsters in strength; maybe if it were Nova or Riley running, the situation would be different…if it does happen, Riley would be lying on the ground breathing right now…and Nova would immediately be picked up by Cupid and run him over to the school nurse room.
"Are you alright?" Cupid gentle ask, his face maybe motioless, but you can hear some worry in his voice.
"It…uhm…I'm ok…hm…" Yunne looks like she's about collad but she's still trying to stand instead of finding a place to sit.
"Yunne, that was…" Heos was about to praise her, but it seen abit out of place right now…
"Was…?" Yunne tilted her head, asking in a small tone: "Ah, right…Cupid."
"Yes?"
"Here your…uhm…strawberry milk." She tucked some messy hair to one side of her ear and handed Cupid a brand-new strawberry milk carton.
"Yunne, sorry, it's a bit weird to say it, but…that was impressive!" Heos can't hold it in anymore when he sees the brand-new milk carton she gave Cupid.
"What…? Impressive? Me?" Yunne studdenly get confused.
"You…You were able to catch up with us just a bit late, but also got the time to go back to the cafeteria to buy some milk?! That fast! Yunne!"
"It…is?" Yunne opened her eyes wider
Cupid put the straw into his brand-new milk carton: "Guess I owe you this time, Yunne."
"Oh no…Cupid, I owe you last time remember, so we're even now." She giggles a little.
"Also, Heos's right. You were able to catch up with us…that was quite fast." Cupid nodded in agreement.
"No, not at all…" Yunne panic "You guys are so fast, I thought I lost you, so I do have to ask someone around."
"But still!" Heos insight: "That's still fast!"
"Is that so…"
"Heh…How about…" Heos then looks over to Cupid before looking back at Yunne: "Yunne, do you want to join the winter spot festival with us?"
"No, I won't, but thank you for your offer, Heos." She denies with no hesitation whatsoever.
"What…Why?!"
"I'm busy with my club activity already…we have to get ready for the spring festival, so…" Yunne slightly turned her eyes away and looked at Cupid with those helpless eyes.
Looks like she doesn't want to…
"Let's get back, Heos, it's almost time for the next class." Cupid pulls him back and remind that they don't have much time to chat around like this.
The sad and disappointed Heos nodded and walked back to class.
"Sorry you get caught up in our mess." Cupid looks back at the tiring Yunne standing beside him.
"It's fine…playing with you and Heos is fun. I really mean it." She does really mean it. Cupid does strange things sometimes, but it's so fun to watch, like 'what will he do next?'. Just un-ordinary things keep rolling around, but it was entertaining nonetheless. "Ah, Cupid."
"Yes?"
"The person who was with us when I asked you to help with…you know, be friends with Nova was him, right?"
As Yunne turns her head slightly to look at Cupid's face, she sees something she never thought she would ever see that day.
Cupid raised the corner of his mouth for a bit but with the hand cover half of his mouth: "You knew, huh?" and back at his motionless self once again once he drop his hand down.
"Uh…ah, yes! I remember that voice so…the more I hear Heos talk, the more I realize…"
Did Cupid…
"I'll go back now. You should go back to your class, too, Yunne. See you again when you're free."
Did Cupid just…
She froze in place and waved her hand goodbye, too stunned to speak or ask about what just happened.
And for the next few minutes, she opened her eyes wider and her mouth in an O shape.
'Godness!!! Why is he so cute!!!'
She started feeling a bit jealous of Nova…for some reason…that she definitely knew why.
