In the middle of a huge white room with no exit, doors or windows, Zenis stands completely confused about what he is doing there.
This reminded him a lot of the time he saw those 2 supernatural beings when he was unconscious, but this is completely different.
Behind him appeared a short-white-haired man with red eyes, chained to a glass wall behind which were several people with frightened expressions trying to break the glass and get out.
,,so you got here already huh?,, the man spoke and smiled a little ,,it's not time for you to know the truth yet but whatever, I still have a use for you,,
At his remark, Zenis for the first time in several years showed that he was not in a good mood from disgust in his face and annoyed voice ,,who are you? What do you mean, "I have a use for you?",,I'm not a puppet or anything,,
At his annoyed voice, the man grinned with a smile that reached to the sides in an inhuman way, until it gave Zenis goosebumps ,,don't worry, all the answers will soon come to surface~,, the man laughed.
,,now wake up,, the man declared in a voice full of energy that shook the entire room and forced Zenis to jump out of bed in the middle of the night.
The sudden movement woke up the woman next to him who had been pressing her body against his side until now ,,what's going on?,, she yawned and stretched ready to get up.
,,nothing, I'm going out,, Zenis declared, he took a white t-shirt, gray pants with a black coat and a red scarf and left the room leaving the confused woman still in bed.
"I guess I have to start work a little earlier than usual today," Zenis sighed and entered the liquor store.
Standing at the cash register was a young man in his 20s, he has light blue hair, ocean blue eyes and a red rose in his hair, the moment Zenis walked in the man immediately noticed him and smiled.
Looking around, Zenis was disgusted and surprised that humanity had come up with so many types of alcohol.
While Zenis was browsing the shelves, a group of people entered the store, led by a woman with an eye patch over her eyes and orange hair, her attitude was giving off the aura of someone dangerous and powerful.
,,Do you have money for our ''protection''?,, the woman asked as soon as she reached the man at the cash register, ,,because if you don't, you know what will happen,, she smiled with smile where was nothing warm or positive.
Zenis looked at her unnoticed behind the shelves and measured her with his eyes and was surprised a bit, not because the woman was so beautiful or unique, but because he didn't know that a woman could be so flat "maybe it's a boy with a girl's voice?" He thought and looked around the store.
Luckily, there was only him in the store, 3 intruders and the guy at the cash register "I shouldn't interfere in other people's problems... But their aura..... 100% they both use magic" he thought and took his wallet out of his coat.
"If they both use magic then it's definitely worth checking" he thought and took the cheapest alcohol and walked to the cash register with a small smile.
While he was waiting behind them, one of the bodyguards turned and noticed him ,,ma'am, there are witnesses here....,, he tapped the woman on the shoulder who turned to Zenis.
,,Go away, sugar baby, adults are talking,, she chuckled at him and looked back at the guy behind the cash register who was obviously nervous.
".....she called me sugar baby? Was that supposed to be an insult or a compliment?" Zenis thought with a serious expression, while he was still standing behind the bodyguards.
,,Hey, didn't you hear?,, one of the bodyguards said loudly and took a step towards Zenis, trying to scare him ,,The boss said go away,,.
Zenis ignored him and walked to the cash register and put a bottle of alcohol on the cash register ,,That's all, by the way, who is this?,, Zenis pointed at the 3 people behind him who were watching him in shock.
None of them expected him to openly ignore them and ask about them as if they weren't there.
The angry woman took a step towards him and put her hand on his shoulder, which she squeezed tightly in an attempt to show superiority.
Unfortunately for her, Zenis was not scared, but in a bad mood from the strange touch. Before anyone could notice, the scissors fell from the sleeve of his coat and fell right into his hand, which he had been clutching tightly.
,,You little-,, before he could finish his words, a familiar person entered the store with an evil grin and white pupils that ended on Zenis.
Surprised Zenis looked towards the door and after a long time he felt nervous, if he had to take care of the girl and her bodyguards, it wouldn't be too difficult, but with this person coming, it certainly wouldn't be easy.
,,What are you doing here Parker?,, Zenis muttered and walked over to the taller man who was grinning from ear to ear.
Parker wouldn't be in this town for nothing and he definitely wouldn't get involved in other people's problems, he could be a rapist but he also liked his peace.
,,Let's say the birds are whispering that there's a guy with white hair and no tattoos walking around here, so I thought I'd check it out, but in the end it's just you,,.
Zenis breathed a sigh of relief at his answer, it wasn't new that his hair attracted attention, but the fact that he didn't have the tattoos that are required to go into this town is a good excuse to follow someone.
,,..I know this is your town, but I have things here that I have to take care of and that won't wait,, Zenis sighed and rubbed his temples.
,,I wish I didn't have to worry about this-,, Zenis sighed and before he could finish his sentence fist appeared before his face.
Parker, who sent his fist at Zenis chuckled, ,,what bad luck, I expected you to be at least a little surprised,,.
Zenis, now blocking his fist with his scissors looked at Parker with a neutral expression and continued to force the scissors against fist forcing Parker to take a step back.
,,What does this mean? Do you want to cause problems in your city for fun? I expected better things from you,,
At his remark, Parker's smile disappeared from his face ,,don't even try, this crap won't work on me again,,.
Parker walked back to Zenis,,and don't forget what you caused, do you know how long that wound from school took to heal?! Mason didn't have a spell for it either!,,
What a crap, Mason had more than enough spells to heal, he probably didn't heal him because he didn't get such an injury important enough to share his Grimoire.
,,Sounds like a skill issue-,, Unfortunately, for the second time, Zenis failed to block Parker's attack and was sent through the door into the supply room.
Silence. That was all that was heard in the store where Parker had punched Zenis and there was no sign of Zenis healing or regaining consciousness.
,,I'm glad there's someone like you who can survive my attacks even when I'm holding back so damn much,, Parker laughed and started walking towards the exit.
,,Why are you in such a hurry?,, Zenis's hand pushed its way through the door that was resting on him and gently threw it away.
After he stood up, everyone in the store was frozen in amazement at what they saw. Zenis, now he was not what he was before, he had pink skin and a strange sound could be heard throughout the store as if something was running around to the beat..
Without any unnecessary talk, Zenis appeared before Parker and looked him in the eyes ,,you've already seen this form, so you know what I can do, right?,,.
With an evil grin, Parker muttered a form to strengthen muscles and accelerate reflexes ,,you know I know, that's why I can't wait for the day when we go into battle with everything we have,, he chuckled and canceled the strengthening of his body.
Zenis also regained his normal color and the sound his body was making immediately disappeared ,,I'm glad we understand each other like this,, Zenis nodded and walked over to the cashier who surprisingly had a neutral expression and didn't react in any way to what had just happened.
,,Thanks for watching my stuff, I'll pay in a moment,, Zenis winked at him and turned to Parker ,,Wait outside and I'll make sure we both enjoy today to the fullest,,.
