More than two hours later....

Huh, it looks like the egg is about to crack. Let's quickly check up on it. I didn't want to miss out on its hatching.
The eggshell slowly cracked and started to fall off. Soon, it broke out completely, and a beast pup appeared. It's a dragon. I am now completely sure about that.
Though the system showed that the beast would be a dragon, I was not completely convinced about that. It could have been a dragon-kin, and the system might show that it was a dragon.
Who knows?
It was not public knowledge. So, I had small doubts, but still kept the beast a secret to be safe. Now, I believe that it is a dragon and keeping it a secret was the right thing to do.

When my new beast saw me, it happily flapped its wings trying to reach me, but as a newborn, the wings were too weak and couldn't lift its body. It failed to fly, instead, it fell on the floor on its face.
