Three days later...
"Hahaha, we made rich", Jay laughed out loudly as he cooked the night's meal.
"This guy", I couldn't help mutter at Jay's enthusiasm.
There was a reason why he was laughing out loudly like a maniac. It was because we killed a Silver rank beast.
The first two days, everything went well. We hunted a good number of beasts, both of Bronze and Iron ranks. Another good thing was that our old hideout was not discovered. If it was, at least when the users left, they covered it up well.
So, we hunted during the day and had good food and sleep at night. It was going well, but on the third day, everything took a completely different path.
It started okay, but after a few hours, we encountered a Silver rank beast. At first, we wanted to leave, as it would be bad for us if we got injured by fighting the beast. There was no reason to be greedy. What we have earned and can earn would be enough. No need to reach for something that could hurt us later.
