Spiritual Energy would automatically converge towards complex, ordered systems. This was one of the most fundamental physical laws of this world. In terms of priority, this law, called the First Law of Spiritual Movement, even ranked above the Third Law of Burning the Heavens, the "Second Law of Thermodynamics."
Living organisms were the most complex systems among all standard-scale entities. Every living organism began gathering Spiritual Energy from the moment of conception.
This gathered Spiritual Energy then formed the Soul.
The Soul was an organ of thought. The lower the animal, the more it relied on the thinking capacity of the Soul. Thinking with the Soul was also the process of strengthening the Soul. The strengthening of animal souls gradually led to the formation of a true Personality, known as Spirit Awakening.
