Chapter 474 - Chapter 473: Ice Element Apex, The Painter of Ice

Rumble—rumble—rumble!

On the tropical rainforest plain, the massive Sail Vanguard Vessel collapsed. Amid countless chaotic wind tracks, several thousand soldiers roared in fury, crossing blades and slaughtering one another. Twisted shadows were reflected in their pupils, their emotions growing ever more frenzied and ferocious.

Damon shouted in shock and rage, "What is going on?! What kind of demonic magic is this?!"

His eyes were wide with fury, his gold-and-white beard standing on end. His entire body radiated brilliant golden light. Behind him, a resplendent and magnificent Light Element Star Palace hovered in the heavens, from which a heaven-supporting Judgment Sword stood tall, pouring down tens of thousands of meters of golden radiance.

Yet contrary to Damon's expectations, the Light Element Super-tier power falling upon his own soldiers failed to purify the evil and corruption.

The Sail Vanguard mages were still trapped in a strange state of fanatical rage.

Damon suddenly turned his head, staring at Lu Jun standing high above the sky, his gaze locking onto that indifferent, sacred-blue left eye.

"This is Psychic Element power," White Leopard suddenly spoke, his expression grave. "Water Element Super-tier, Psychic Element Super-tier…"

White Leopard cultivated four elements. Only because both his Ice Element and Psychic Element had reached Super-tier could he discern the nature of Lu Jun's magic.

He could not help but feel a surge of jealousy. After all, the Star Sea Heavenly Vein could only take effect once, at most guaranteeing one element to reach Super-tier. The remaining three elements required one's own opportunities.

Most Super-tier mages followed this configuration, specializing in one or two elements. Full Super-tier mastery was exceedingly rare. Adding Heavenly Seed cultivation was yet another layer of selection. Yet Lu Jun possessed them all, already far ahead of his peers.

In midair, Lu Jun ignored the utterly fragile army and could not be bothered to slaughter them. His understanding of Fantasy Pupil was still insufficient, far from the depth of Nether Gaze and Northern Nether Sea—making him unable to unleash powers such as Netherworld Dark Verdict or Northern Nether Heavy Water.

However, under the passive amplification of Fantasy Pupil, the power of his Level 4 High-Tier magic was increased by a significant margin, reaching a level comparable to Super-tier magic.

Buzz!

At this moment, Damon reacted—capture the leader first. He decisively controlled the massive golden Judgment Sword suspended in the void. Vast as a mountain, it roared as it descended, slashing toward Lu Jun in midair like a sky-piercing pillar of light.

The Tai'e Sword in Lu Jun's hand seemed to sense the provocation. It let out a long cry, breaking free from its master's grip on its own, surging skyward. The three-foot sword light expanded continuously, ultimately transforming into a towering sword mountain that erupted straight from the ground.

The two collided ten thousand meters in the sky, unleashing a terrifying energy storm. The golden Judgment Sword shattered inch by inch, dissolving into a dazzling sea of golden light.

After being knocked away, the Tai'e Sword spun several circles before stabilizing. With a single tremor, it split into countless sword lights that howled as they stabbed downward toward Damon on the ground—the scene was shocking, Ten Thousand Swords Return to the Origin.

Damon's expression changed drastically. He hurriedly erected Light Element shields, struggling to contend against a single sword.

Seeing that the Tai'e Sword had restrained Damon, the Light Element Super-tier mage, Lu Jun paid no further attention to the weapon spirit. He strolled through the void as if stepping on invisible stairs, his windbreaker fluttering as he advanced step by step toward Wu Ku at the center of the military camp.

The battlefield had already fallen into total chaos, shattered by Lu Jun alone. Wherever he passed, soldiers of the brown-clad legion scattered in terror, displaying the air of ten thousand troops retreating before a single white-robed figure.

Splash—splash—splash!

Cold sweat poured down Wu Ku's face. Above his head floated a gray-white bone water prayer bead, while three crystal-clear, sky-blue Supreme Water Essences revolved around his body. Dense, murky water droplets were summoned, layering upon layer as they wrapped tightly around him.

His entire body was sealed within a spherical mass of water droplets.

He possessed no other great abilities, only formidable defensive strength and had already resolved to turtle up completely.

At this moment, the silver-robed mage White Leopard finally could not hold back and made his move, striking straight with a killing technique.

Zero Mirror Seal!

In an instant, ice-white crystalline walls rose one after another around Lu Jun. Layer upon layer, they towered like mountain barriers. Though lacking absolute thickness, they formed concentric freezing layers expanding outward.

White Leopard, an Ice Element Super-tier Level 3 mage, even without an Ice Element Heavenly Seed—could still be called a Super-tier Supreme, standing at the pinnacle of the Ice Element. His freezing speed was terrifyingly fast.

In less than a second, a crystal ice cube appeared out of thin air in midair, measuring roughly thirty-six cubic meters.

Lu Jun's figure became hazy and indistinct, his features blurred, as if he were about to be eternally frozen within the Zero Mirror Seal.

The silver-robed mage hurriedly transmitted his voice to everyone present. "While he can't move, quickly gather your magic and focus fire on him. My Zero Mirror Seal is one-way freezing—his attacks inside will be blocked, but attacks from outside can penetrate in."

Unfortunately, after White Leopard issued the order, no one present could spare a hand.

His younger brother Cold Tiger was severely wounded, and the Earth Element was ill-suited for offense. Damon was being forced into a desperate struggle by a strange ancient sword, barely able to dodge. The Sail Vanguard Legion had fallen into collective madness.

Seeing this, the silver-robed mage felt helpless. Maintaining Zero Mirror Seal consumed enormous magical energy. At this point, he could only push himself further.

Sizzle—sizzle—sizzle!

But before White Leopard could cast again, he stared in shock at the crystal cube in the void. Clusters of brownish-red flames ignited upon the surfaces of the crystalline ice walls, growing rapidly and instantly spreading across the entire ice structure.

Immediately afterward, white steam billowed upward. The ice crystals slowly melted, and Lu Jun's figure and features became increasingly clear, until he calmly stepped out, his entire body drenched with water.

White Leopard was stunned. "Flames… how is this possible?"

With his Ice Element cultivation, not to mention ordinary flames, even Super-tier Fire Element magic should not be able to damage the Zero Mirror Seal in the slightest. After all, ice restrains fire.

"Could it be… a Heavenly Seed Fire Element?"

His expression shifted slightly. At that moment, a cold yet melodious female voice rang out beside him, "Is all you can do really to collude with the Black Vatican and bully others with numbers?!"

Lu Mei stepped forward, clad in a blazing crimson flame gown. Wisps of golden flame ignited along the fluttering edges of her skirt, outlining her graceful figure. Her plump, fair legs were long and striking. She appeared noble and aloof, yet an imposing and powerful aura surged forth from her.

Whoosh—whoosh—whoosh!

Behind her, eight cyan-red wings spread wide. Wind Element and Fire Element raged together as a noble flame goddess phantom overlapped with her form.

"Heavenly-grade flames, Fire Element Super-tier, Wind Element Super-tier… wait, this aura—Fire Element Sacred Spirit, Mid-level Monarch?!"

White Leopard's pupils contracted as he realized he had completely overlooked this person.

"Your opponent is me!"

Brownish-red flames ignited within Lu Mei's beautiful eyes. She clenched her jade-like hand and threw a punch. A massive fire diagram imprint descended from the void, and immediately afterward, the brownish-red fire diagram erupted with scorching magma, surging toward White Leopard with the overwhelming force of a volcanic pillar.

With a thunderous roar, the fire pillar swept past, forcibly carving a lava trench dozens of meters wide into the earth.

White Leopard hurriedly summoned ice walls to protect himself. Even so, he was blasted backward hundreds of meters. The calamity flames of heaven and earth penetrated everywhere, scorching his body with searing pain.

Seeing this, Lu Jun revealed a faint smile. He was hardly a lone wolf without allies. Although he could have avoided the strike by activating Space–Time Element phasing, having his sister intervene saved him some effort.

On the plain, at the center of a raging sea of fire that even torrential rain could not extinguish—

The silver-robed mage was engulfed in flames. In pain and humiliation, rage surged within him. His eyes flickered with icy-blue brilliance as vast Ice Element magical energy poured forth. In each hand, he condensed an ice-fine brush and a box of ice inkstone.

"You forced this old man's hand."

He said coldly, his expression sinister. "Do you know my title—Ice Pen Adept, the Painter!"
