Chapter 475 - Chapter 474: Severely Wounding White Leopard

The moment White Leopard summoned two powerful magical artifacts, he immediately coordinated them with his own Ice Element Transcendent Power to cast his spell.

In his right hand, he gripped a slender goose-feather pen, dipped it into the unique pure-white ink within the ice inkwell, then forcefully swung his arm, drawing a heavy stroke across the void, thick at first and gradually thinning.

In an instant, a series of crack-crack freezing sounds rang out. It was as though an invisible force descended from above White Leopard. The raging sea of flames around him was instantly suppressed as blue-white ice spread outward, forming a world of ice and snow.

But it did not end there. With the white ink still coating his pen, White Leopard began drawing wildly through the air.

Rumble—!

Abruptly, from all directions around Lu Mei, one sharp ice blade after another slashed down out of thin air, outlining dozens-of-meters-long lines as sharp as knife edges. Like the contours of the Heavenly Mountains, they surged forward endlessly, launching a relentless assault.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Lu Mei showed no fear at all. Brownish-red flames danced around her like the hem of a Fire Element Goddess's skirt. One blazing fire phoenix after another soared skyward, to actively move toward the ice pen-strokes in midair, shattering countless ice blades.

Ice and fire collided violently in the void. Furious energy waves swept outward, carving the land below into ravines and gullies.

However, White Leopard's Ice Element had reached perfection. His pen strokes stirred and traced rapidly, everything he saw became his canvas.

The pen painted within the air, and Ice Element magic manifested directly in the air itself. His intent locked firmly onto Lu Mei's body.

White Leopard drew shackles and ice weights upon the canvas. Very quickly, rings upon rings of crystalline ice chains surged up beneath Lu Mei's feet, climbing along her long, straight legs. Heavy seals hung upon her, rendering her unable to move.

The greatest strength of the Ice Element lay in control.

Lu Mei felt that just as she shattered one layer of icy crystalline walls, several more layers of ice shackles were immediately added. Before she could destroy them, dozens of incomparably solid, bitterly cold glaciers condensed in the heavens and crashed down violently.

As far as her eyes could see was an endless expanse of white. Her figure stood alone, as though bound upon a vast, desolate icefield, surrounded by glaciers pressing inward, steadily constricting her living space.

At that moment, Lu Jun's azure-blue left eye revealed an unusual gleam as he saw through the principles behind White Leopard's magic.

The Ice Element and Psychic Element were perfectly combined. The latter amplified the former, with psychic interference manifesting in reality and possessing "authenticity." What was clearly an icefield drawn within the mind had half of it directly manifested in the real world, while the remaining half cloaked itself in illusion.

That was why his sister felt as though White Leopard's Ice magic was endless—real and fake intertwined, illusion and reality overlapping. On top of a third-level Ice foundation, it effectively added an extra Super Tier Ice might.

The key point was that Lu Jun discovered his Fantasy Pupil had begun operating autonomously, like a precision computer, frantically analyzing White Leopard's painting-based magic and reconstructing it.

Then, with a vague perception, he realized—

He could replicate it perfectly.

"Fantasy pupil · Replication?

Lu Jun was stunned. It was absurd.

One had to know that every Super-tier Mage's Transcendent Power was absolutely unique, forged from innate talent, domain mastery, magical enhancements, special opportunities, acquired techniques, life comprehension, and various magical tools and artifacts. It was an ultimate sublimation that could not be reproduced by others.

Very quickly, however, he realized something was off. The active effect of the Transcendent Power—Fantasy Pupil—was not that simple. It elevated the principles of imaginary power to their fullest extent. Its true ability should be called: [Wish-Fulfillment].

The Fantasy Pupil still needed to grow. Just as imagination is built upon reality, by deconstructing the Transcendent Powers of various Super Tier experts and continuously absorbing nourishment, it would eventually reach a creator-like might akin to omniscience and omnipotence.

"For now, its expressive capability is only replication?"

Lu Jun murmured softly, his gaze fixed on White Leopard in the distance as he splashed ink through the air.

Buzz—buzz—buzz!

Suddenly, within a radius of a hundred kilometers, a hazy curtain of light emerged and gradually peeled away, like a painting being torn open to reveal the true scene beneath.

When White Leopard once again drew his pen strokes in the void, he was shocked to discover that he had lost this Transcendent Power. A white trace was drawn out, yet the air showed no reaction—no Ice Element gathered, let alone any powerful Ice magic being released.

"How is this possible?"

Unwilling to accept it, he gripped the goose-feather ice pen and scribbled wildly through the air. The result was fierce effort with laughable effect.

The scene was truly absurd. A dignified and solemn Ice Element Super-tier Mage looked like a raving madman, wildly flailing a paintbrush.

Lu Jun's voice echoed eerily within White Leopard's mind.

"Didn't your teacher tell you that scribbling randomly in public places is illegal?"

At those words, White Leopard suddenly realized, Lu Jun's power had dismantled his magic.

But before he could react, with no further Ice magic firepower to sustain him, Lu Mei ahead had already broken free from the endless ice chains.

Lu Mei's entire body erupted in blazing flames as she shot straight into the sky. Vast Heavenly Tribulation Flames gathered as she charged power into a single punch, releasing a sky-covering blue-and-red phoenix that streaked across the heavens, enveloping several kilometers.

Rumble—!!

White Leopard's pupils shrank as he was engulfed by the surging sea of flames. Within the blazing fire phoenix, radiant like the scorching sun, the crystalline ice defenses covering his entire body shattered inch by inch.

Moments later, the fire phoenix dissipated, and a charred human figure fell from midair, barely clinging to life.

In less than a minute, a third-level Super-tier Mage of the Ice Element was defeated by the brother-and-sister duo working together.

Even after consecutively defeating several Super-tier Mages, Lu Jun's expression remained relaxed. This battle seemed not to have forced out his true strength at all.

The heavily injured Cold Tiger trembled violently, retreating step by step as he swallowed hard. Recalling the rumors about Lu Jun—standing face-to-face against Great Monarch–level demon creatures, he realized they were indeed no exaggeration.

On the altar, Wu Ku's expression turned ugly. With his discerning eye, the core members of the Brown Army were already considered mid-tier elites among Super-tier Mages, yet they were utterly unable to withstand such force.

Lu Jun exhaled slowly, his face expressionless as he looked toward Wu Ku.

Seeing this, Wu Ku sighed bitterly. "It seems that today, this old monk cannot escape his destined calamity."

At this moment, Lu Jun wasted no words. The azure radiance in his left eye withdrew, while the Nether Gaze in his right released blood-ink–colored glow. His pupil rotated as Netherworld Dark Verdict was about to be unleashed.

"Hold your hand!"

Suddenly, a female voice shouted from the heavens, accompanied by the descent of a dangerous aura.

Lu Jun was forced to interrupt his magic. Silver radiance erupted across his body as he vanished from his spot, reappearing over a thousand meters away. Countless silver motes scattered through the sky, Blink.

Boom!

At the original location, a torrent of sword light descended, tearing open a deep and vast trench in the ground.

Anger flared within him. Lu Jun looked coldly toward the sky, where a beautiful purple elf slowly drifted down. She wore black, rigid-framed glasses; her purple eyes were pure and agile. In her hands rested a black-covered evil tome.

The sinister book had already been opened to its title page. Beside her hovered an inverted jet-black sword.

The Cleaving Sword Tyrfing—the demonic blade of ancient myth. Every wielder was said to meet a tragic fate, and it was rumored to possess the terrifying power to cut through anything.

Sharjah's expression was solemn as she controlled the Cleaving Sword, pointing it toward Lu Jun. She spoke softly, "Please do not act impulsively. Wu Kun is extremely important to us. We are willing to provide compensation to resolve this grievance."

Hearing this, Lu Jun's gaze sharpened as he said slowly, "Can you truly accept, in your heart, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Black Vatican?"
