But she finally got the answer she wanted.
"Alright."
She immediately raised her head and saw Zane slowly stand up and walk towards the cave.
"Wait here."
Zane left these words behind, and then disappeared.
This was probably the longest day of Ivana's life.
She didn't know exactly how long she had been waiting.
A few minutes, or a few hours.
During that time, she kept staring at the dark cave, not daring to blink.
Finally, the sound of gears rolling came from the cave.
Then that all-too-familiar figure appeared in Ivana's view.
Tears, unreasonable, burst forth again.
"...Grandmother."
The elderly woman who appeared at this moment was sitting in a wheelchair, pushed out by Zane.
She wore a kind smile on her face and then reached out to Ivana.
"Ivana..." her voice carried a slight tremor, "Come... let me hold you."
Zane slightly furrowed his brow.
But Ivana had already rushed over, throwing herself into the old woman's arms, crying freely.
