King Lioness extended his hand toward a nearby officer, who quickly stepped forward and handed him a sealed scroll.
"And one more thing," the king said, his voice calm but authoritative. "If you're headed to the place where your young master is currently stationed…"
Liana and Gloria both straightened, paying close attention.
"Please stop by Gilikan Town on your way. It was recently reclaimed from the Halfling forces by your young master and handed over to our kingdom. Commander Raikus is stationed there now."
He handed the scroll to Liana himself.
"Deliver this letter to him. It contains the latest orders and confirms your passage. I've arranged for the border guards to let you through once your task here is done."
Liana received the scroll with both hands, bowing politely.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Gloria followed with a respectful smile. "We'll make sure it's delivered safely."
King Lioness nodded with satisfaction.
