Though small in size, each one had sapphire-blue eyes that shimmered like gems in the water, and their bodies were covered in snake-like scales that gave them an almost draconic appearance. The air in the water felt heavier near them, and their movements were sharp, almost intelligent.
"Fish Lizards," Max muttered under his breath, recognizing the species with a grave expression. They were dangerous—fast, coordinated, and capable of using their sharp fins like blades in the water. But more importantly, their presence here triggered a thought. 'Could Fish Dragon Grass be nearby?'
Fish Lizards were social monsters, known for traveling in schools and dying in the same area when their time came. And where they died, Fish Dragon Grass—rare herbs that absorbed their essence—would often grow.
