Chapter 353 - Chapter 353: Tang San’s Fierce Battle with Tianxing Academy

Chapter 353: Tang San's Fierce Battle with Tianxing Academy

With Yang Wudi and Niu Gao's denial, there was no evidence pointing to Tianxing Academy's involvement in the attack. Instead, suspicion seemed to lean toward the Spirit Empire. But Tang San was unwilling to let it go, especially since Yang Wudi and Niu Gao's comments appeared to belittle Yu Xiaogang.

Though colder and more ruthless now, Tang San had also become more extreme and fiercely protective of those he cared about. Outraged, he roared, "You two old men have the nerve to deny what you did! And you call yourselves powerful Title Douluo?"

Yang Wudi retorted sharply, "And you, brat, are nothing but a lying troublemaker! Last time, you snuck into our academy, and now you're throwing baseless accusations our way. You really think you can push us around?"

Tang San's fury flared. His face twisted, and an aura of dark energy surrounded him, transforming his presence into something demonic. His spirit rings appeared, revealing nine rings for his Blue Silver Grass spirit. The oppressive force of his ninety-eighth-level spirit power bore down on Yang Wudi and Niu Gao.

However, both Yang Wudi and Niu Gao were fierce, unyielding warriors in their own right. As veteran leaders of Tianxing Academy, they responded by summoning their own spirits and rings. Although both were at ninety-five levels, they showed no fear in facing Tang San's power.

Tang San's spirit power flared, unleashing countless dark vines of Blue Silver Grass that filled the entire room, engulfing even Yang Wudi and Niu Gao in its shadowy reach. But the two elder Douluo stood firm. Yang Wudi's Breaking Spear radiated a powerful killing intent, while Niu Gao's armored Ironhide Rhino stood immovable like a mountain, holding off the encroaching darkness with sheer defensive might.

Tang San's Blue Silver Grass was formidable, infused with dark energy and a powerful draining force that sapped both spirit power and life essence. Yang Wudi, with his vast experience, shouted, "So, Tang San, in your quest for strength, you've fed your spirit on countless souls and blood! You've fallen into darkness."

"What a disgrace to the Tang Clan and the Clear Sky Clan. If your ancestors could see you now, would they not die of shame?"

These words only fueled Tang San's fury. His eyes blazed red, his face twisted with malice, and a thick aura of darkness radiated from his body, transforming him into a figure straight from the depths of hell.

"And what right do you two old fools have to lecture me?" he spat. "You're nothing but relics clinging to your power."

At his words, the writhing black vines of Blue Silver Grass seemed to gain strength, wriggling like venomous serpents and seeking to consume all in their path. Realizing they could not take this lightly, Yang Wudi and Niu Gao exchanged a quick glance and unleashed their Martial Spirit Avatars. A towering Ironhide Rhino and a massive figure wielding a spear appeared, both fully committed to countering Tang San's onslaught.

The skirmish quickly escalated, tearing apart the office and leaving three massive figures locked in combat, each radiating deadly intent. Watching the battle unfold, Yang Potian smirked to himself. From the looks of it, Tang San had absorbed many dark-attribute spirit rings, explaining the transformation of his Blue Silver Grass into its current sinister form.

Despite being lower in spirit power by three levels, Yang Wudi and Niu Gao's synergy was flawless. Yang Wudi's Breaking Spear had an exceptionally high offensive potential and was particularly suited to cutting through plant-type spirits like Blue Silver Grass.

With a shout, Yang Wudi unleashed his ninth spirit ability. His spear glowed with red light, exuding an overwhelming aura of death and destruction. As he attacked, countless dark vines were shredded to pieces. While Dark Blue Silver Grass was indeed a formidable plant-type spirit, plant spirits remained inherently vulnerable to weapon spirits like the Breaking Spear.

Although Tang San's vines were vast, Yang Wudi's relentless attacks cut through them without pause. But even as they were cut down, Tang San's vines kept coming, determined to fill the entire space. Realizing he couldn't inflict serious damage quickly enough, and that the academy's reinforcements might soon arrive, Tang San's gaze turned deadly.

Suddenly, two figures leaped into the fray from above—Yang Zhentian with his Breaking Spear and Sword Douluo with his Seven Kill Sword. Each of their attacks crackled with killing intent, adding a new layer of pressure to Tang San.

Yang Zhentian had reached the ninety-eighth level and was an equal match to Tang San in terms of spirit power, with his Breaking Spear proving a perfect counter to Tang San's dark vines. Sword Douluo, though slightly weaker at ninety-seven, excelled in sheer offensive prowess, and his skills had improved since regaining the use of his right arm.

With their arrival, the battlefield became a chaotic maelstrom. Though Tang San's vines filled the space, they were now outmatched by the combined force of four powerful warriors with weapon-based spirits.

Within minutes, Tang San found himself at a disadvantage. His vines were being shredded faster than he could regenerate them, and he struggled to maintain his power under the constant assault.

Enraged, Tang San shouted, "Sword Douluo! I used to respect you as a venerable elder, but now you've become a lackey for Tianxing Academy! Do you have no shame?"

He cast a disdainful look toward Yang Zhentian as well. "Yang Zhentian, you may have reached ninety-eight, but your Breaking Spear is pitifully weak!"

As his words echoed, the dark Blue Silver Grass vanished, and in its place appeared a massive, pitch-black Clear Sky Hammer. The weapon, once patterned with blue streaks, was now entirely black, exuding a foreboding energy. Tang San's spirit rings manifested as well, showing four red and four black rings, each emanating an aura of fearsome strength that weighed down on his opponents.
