Chapter 352: Unreasonable Accusations

In truth, Yang Potian had long intended to arrange something specific for Ning Fengzhi and his two companions. As the head of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Ning Fengzhi had guided the clan to its most powerful peak, almost unrivaled in influence across the continent. Raising a support-focused sect to this stature was no small feat, proving Ning Fengzhi's prowess in both strategy and leadership.

Sword Douluo, on the other hand, was somewhat tragic; his exceptional talent and strength were marred by the unfortunate loss of his arm, leaving a lasting regret. Now that the three had made their allegiance clear by handling the "dirty work," Yang Potian felt they deserved a fitting reward. Should Sword Douluo's arm be restored, he might even reach the ninety-eighth level, a valuable addition to Tianxing Academy's might.

But Yang Potian knew that, even if the trio's actions left no trace, Tang San would likely deduce who was behind the ambush. With Tang San's extreme nature, he would surely retaliate. When that time came, Yang Potian could eliminate him and address the spirit beast threat once and for all.

As anticipated, when Yu Xiaogang regained consciousness, Titan and Bai He were nowhere to be seen. The power that had overwhelmed him suggested a Title Douluo had attacked, sending shivers down his spine. Though he wasn't certain why they hadn't killed him, it was clear they hadn't come in peace.

Hastily, Yu Xiaogang returned to where Tang San and his group were hiding, recounting his recent encounter. As he described what had happened, Tang San's expression darkened, his face twisted in fury and grief. Losing Titan and Bai He was unacceptable, both emotionally and in terms of his strength.

Titan, ever loyal to the Tang family, had remained faithful despite the hardships the clan had faced. And Bai He, his maternal great-uncle, had once given him his most precious herb, the Crystal Jade Dragon Ginseng, to boost his cultivation.

Intent on uncovering the truth, Tang San led his group back to the scene to search for any sign of Titan and Bai He, vowing to bring them back dead or alive. Yet, even with the probing power of his Dark Blue Silver Grass, no trace remained, as if they had vanished entirely.

Furious, Tang San immediately suspected Tianxing Academy's involvement. He refused to believe their disappearance was unrelated to the academy and was determined to force them to account for it. With his now overwhelming confidence—bolstered by his ninety-eighth level spirit power, Dark Blue Silver Grass, and Clear Sky Hammer—he felt even an Ultimate Douluo would have difficulty holding him down.

Meanwhile, Yang Wudi and Niu Gao were already troubled by Titan and Bai He's visit. Though they had drifted apart, they preferred not to become outright enemies with their old comrades. Just then, Yu Xiaogang and Tang San returned to Tianxing Academy, their expressions stormy, as though driven by deep-seated animosity.

Not wanting to escalate matters, Yang Wudi and Niu Gao had tried to keep relations cordial with Titan and Bai He. They met with Tang San and Yu Xiaogang in the academy's conference room, hoping for a peaceful resolution.

Tang San strode in, his tone accusatory. "Yang Wudi, Niu Gao, did you abduct Titan and Bai He?"

Yang Wudi frowned, puzzled. "Tang San, what are you talking about? We've been here at the academy all along. Why would we need to attack them?"

Tang San sneered. "If you didn't want anyone to know, you shouldn't have done it in the first place. Have you no loyalty left to your former brothers? Hypocrites!"

Niu Gao's face darkened, and he barked, "Tang San, mind your words. I may be blunt, but I deal openly. If I'd attacked, I'd have done so openly. What exactly happened to Titan and Bai He?"

Tang San snorted. "After they left with my teacher, they were ambushed by a Title Douluo. My teacher was knocked unconscious, and Titan and Bai He have vanished. Who else but you could be responsible?"

Yang Wudi brushed aside the accusation, countering, "So, anyone who goes missing is our responsibility? That's absurd! Besides, both Titan and Bai He are wanted by the Spirit Empire. Why couldn't they have been taken by them?"

"Your group left with three people, and only Titan and Bai He disappeared. Are you saying Yu Xiaogang escaped on his own merit?" Yang Wudi shot back with a mocking tone.

Yu Xiaogang flushed, stammering, "I was knocked out by the enemy. When I woke, Titan and Bai He were already gone."

Yang Wudi laughed. "Then it's obvious, isn't it? Only the Spirit Empire would have a reason to spare you. If we had struck, we'd have taken you out first."

Tang San's face turned livid. "How dare you, old fool! Are you implying you'd actually hurt my teacher?"

Yang Wudi's expression was just as fierce. "All I did was make a logical deduction, yet here you are, accusing me without proof. What nonsense!"
