Chapter 412 - Chapter 412 - Beating the Shit Out of the Hussy.

[Chapter Size: 2500 Words.]

Third Person POV

North.

...

...

The power of the collision between the two quickly made everything roar, while the entire area began exploding into countless fragments.

Madara raised an eyebrow more seriously, beside the green dragon, as he watched the cloud of dust pass by them. His eyes had already transformed into the Sharingan to detect the two fighting in an area of low visibility, as all the dust began bursting up from the ground.

Even the mountains where they had clashed were already beginning to crumble little by little due to the damage they were causing.

The Dragon Queen truly was powerful. She made her flames explode throughout the entire area, but there was a limit. Her strength did not reach Gaunter O'Dimm's level, and she soon began losing ground. After all, the demon himself had taken possession of half the dragons in the valley.

So, naturally, she was thrown backward while Ciri did not stop attacking her.

That was when she fell into a crater created by a punch from Ciri, which launched her like a living projectile. The Dragon Queen collided with all the debris until the place exploded into flames and, soon, a giant red creature began to emerge, standing over 200 meters tall. It was her complete draconic form, 3 times larger than Ignavros beside Madara. That dragoness was vastly more powerful than any other dragon.

However, just as she was about to roar flames, she was struck by Ciri's punch to the head, making her fly like a projectile and dig even deeper into the ground at the foot of the mountain where they were.

The entire mountain range trembled from the impact as she went flying through them, crushing trees and crossing rivers, causing landslides on the mountains themselves and even avalanches of the snow that covered the peaks. It did not take long for the dragon's body to stop, surrounded by white smoke and snow due to the avalanche created by the impact of 5 mountains around them... Then, a green star simply exploded, rushing toward that place.

Ciri looked truly furious at that moment. There had been few times when Madara had seen his wife in such a state, and certainly everyone involved was not in the best position after that.

"She's going to kill her!", Ignavros began to say in fear, worried about the Dragon Queen. He still seemed shocked that the little girl from before had turned into that monster.

Madara simply shook his head. "No, she won't go that far." He knew Ciri was not a killer by nature. She had enough power to control an entire continent even without him, but she had never been one to kill. She only killed when it was truly necessary.

For example, she had no mercy for the Wild Hunt. After all, they were a group that wanted to kidnap and use her, threatening many of her friends and acquaintances, so Ciri showed no mercy and slaughtered all of them. Many other similar situations had happened in that world, but the Dragon Queen was not necessarily trying to harm them. It wasn't as though she had threatened to destroy Cintra or kill their son, for example.

Ciri was only acting that way because of a fit of jealousy, since the Dragon Queen's declaration was a little absurd, but it did not justify such extremism as going so far as to kill another woman for desiring Madara. She would give her a beating, a very thorough beating, but nothing more than that.

Madara watched from a distance with his Sharingan as, amid the snow, he saw the flames begin to melt everything around them, transforming almost that entire place into an enormous lake. They were between the edges of the mountains, and the Dragon Queen could easily melt all that snow with her own aura and breath.

She had transformed back into a human and was lying in one of the farthest corners, while everything around her melted, forming an enormous waterfall behind her. In front of her, however, was that enormous lake, and Ciri was there, walking across it using her magic to walk on the water while glaring at the woman, still filled with fury.

The Dragon Queen, even with blood running down her forehead and from her mouth, looked at Ciri and began to laugh.

"Incredible... So much power. As expected of his female..."

"You've said that enough already. Can you start saying something a little more original?", Ciri said disdainfully before simply making the water explode, leaving an enormous blast behind her with the force of her legs as she surged forward like an emerald meteor.

She landed another punch on the Dragon Queen, burying her beneath the snow and the already melted water.

It was easy to see the lake begin to erupt into several columns of water as the two fought underwater. Even steam was beginning to rise. That snow suddenly began to melt even more, and the water began carving through the rest of the path, since it was extremely hot because of the Dragon Queen. A natural dam had been created by the snow, but it soon broke apart from the heat of the water. With the water heated, the barrier easily gave way and, shortly afterward, an enormous wave surged toward Madara and Ignavros.

The mountains were higher there, so that water would flow toward the valleys below them, following the current course of the river, and would reach the human settlements.

Madara, seeing that, knew that an enormous flood would strike the villages and cities in that region north of Kaedwen. So he clasped his hands together and began creating several roots, causing an enormous forest to erupt in the path of the water, in front of them. The current struck the barrier with force, but was prevented from continuing, with him forming a new dam before the water could reach Madara and Ignavros.

He also used the dam's own roots to begin absorbing the water, causing its level to drop rapidly. The water would flow underground and feed subterranean rivers and springs, but in a much more controlled manner than an enormous flood capable of sweeping away thousands of people.

Madara and Ignavros waited for a few more moments, until Ciri reappeared, leaping from the sky directly toward them and causing an explosion with her body as she landed. She appeared carrying the redhead's body, badly injured and unconscious.

"I think we're done here," Ciri said in a bored tone before looking at Ignavros, who had his mouth slightly open, completely dumbfounded.

It was certainly a strange sight.

Ciri merely snorted when she saw the fearful look on Ignavros's face as he stared at the Dragon Queen herself, the one who ruled over all of them, lying before him, badly injured and unconscious.

"Long time no see, Ignavros. It seems my husband finally summoned you," Ciri said calmly, still sending a shiver down Ignavros's spine, who almost took a step back in fright.

"Anyway, it's good that you didn't kill her, even after her unexpected request," Madara said.

Ciri snorted at him this time. "If that hussy shows up at Cintra Castle again, I'll give her another beating. And I hope she doesn't cause any more trouble," she said, now in a threatening tone. "If she tries to hurt anyone or attack Cintra, it will be her last act. I won't attack her with my fists anymore, but with my blade."

Madara said nothing. He agreed with that as well. If that queen truly became a threat, she would have to disappear like all their other enemies.

Anyway, Madara turned to his wife. "Let's return. We still have matters to deal with involving the elf and the others..." Madara said.

Ciri agreed as they left the place.

"Don't let her cause any more trouble," was the only thing Madara said to Ignavros before they both disappeared with Madara's jutsu, but not before he cleared the place of the roots he had used as a dam.

Madara and Ciri reappeared at the castle and were quickly surrounded as soon as their presence was noticed. Yennefer and the other sorceresses hurried over, worried, since they had only seen an explosion before the two disappeared.

"What happened?" Yennefer asked immediately.

Ciri was still a little dirty from the debris caused by the fight. There was snow, sand, and a few small stones on her queenly dress, which was slightly wrinkled. There was nothing more than a thin line of blood running down her forehead; after all, the Dragon Queen was not so easy to face that Ciri could emerge from a fistfight against her completely unscathed.

"I just gave a conceited woman a beating," Ciri said simply, shrugging before releasing a spell that caused her entire body to heal and clean itself, while her clothes quickly became immaculate again.

Ciri saw a trace of envy in the sorceresses as soon as they saw her doing that and couldn't help but feel a little amused. After all, that magic was different from those that existed in that world. Ciri had learned an enormous collection of spells that no one in this world could imagine, for all kinds of things, while they traveled through the worlds. There was a spell for practically everything.

"Are you all right?" Triss asked quickly.

"It's nothing serious. It's already been resolved, and we're not going to dwell on it anymore. Now let's get back to the matters in the throne room, the sun is still up," Madara said, cutting off the other questions that would certainly follow.

Even though they weren't satisfied with that, everything had happened far too quickly. They could do nothing but nod and accept that whatever had happened was already over.

Back in the mountains of the North, where all that water had already been reduced to nothing more than a river by Madara's roots, Ignavros was still beside his queen, who lay on the ground. She began to blink slightly until she opened her eyes in surprise, before getting up and looking around. Finally, her eyes settled on the dragon in front of her.

"You..." she said before narrowing her eyes. "Who are you again? I forgot your name."

"Ignavros, my queen," Ignavros said in a cautious voice, though slightly offended. The queen didn't even remember his name, even though he had spoken with her several times before, even if it was only to answer her questions about Madara and the human world, back in the valley.

"Ah, yes. I imagine Madara was the one who summoned you." She said thoughtfully.

'His name you remember, don't you?', Ignavros couldn't help but think, disheartened by that, but he merely nodded to the queen.

"Damn... That human woman hits way too hard. I was defeated by another human before I could reach that male, and I truly believed I might have finally found one to breed with," she said.

"I believe Madara doesn't..." Ignavros hesitated. "Humans don't accept that kind of proposal."

"Why not? It's normal for species to breed. That woman should already have some offspring with that alpha..." she said, confused.

"I know, but they don't like to say things like that. Their philosophy is a little different. They don't use those terms. I think they have some kind of mating ritual... I believe it's called marriage. From what I've seen, the human male is called a husband and the female, a wife."

"You're saying that if I want to breed, I have to use that term and become this... wife?" she asked, fascinated, before letting out a sigh. "But for me to become this wife, I'd basically have to get past the other wife who gave me a beating... How can I do that...? Hm? Maybe you're right. Maybe I was wrong to demand it so openly!"

Ignavros looked at the queen with a sigh. At least she seemed quite rational and wasn't boiling with a desire for revenge. He certainly had never seen his queen defeated like that. It would shock the entire Valley of Dragons if they saw her in that state.

He would take that sight to his grave. Otherwise, he would either die at the hands of the other dragons, who would say it was a lie and that he was trying to deceive them by claiming the queen had been defeated, or be killed by the queen herself because of some kind of wounded pride.

"I really was wrong to act that way. I think I still need to learn more about humans," she said thoughtfully. "I think I need to infiltrate human society..." She began debating with herself before seeming to have an idea.

"That's it! I'm going to live in human society for a while. I'll learn everything about their customs, and that way, I'll understand all of this better," she said, leaving Ignavros stunned.

"My queen... what about the dragons? Are you going to abandon them?" Ignavros asked.

"I'm not going to abandon them. I'm still the Dragon Queen! What do you think I am?" she said with a trace of anger, making Ignavros shrink back immediately under the pressure she released merely by using those words.

"I didn't mean that... You know, some might try to take your place if you stay in the human world for too long..." he said cautiously.

"If any dragon tries to challenge my position, I'll return to the Valley of Dragons in an instant and kill any bastard who tries something like that. Anyway, I've already made up my mind. I need to learn more about humans. I'm going back to that city, but I won't demand to breed. I'll live there like those other humans," she said.

"But I think I'll need to use the humans' currency... It's gold, right? That golden metal... That's it, humans use gold for trade?" she asked Ignavros, who nodded, still a little shocked by the queen's decision.

"Very well. Then I'll need gold. Where can I get some?" she asked before widening her eyes. "Wait... that friend of yours, that lower-class dragon. I want you to take me to him. He took possession of a vault and has been there ever since, right? A dwarven vault?" the queen asked.

Ignavros nodded very cautiously. What did that woman want? Was she going to rob his friend? But then again, hadn't his friend also robbed the dwarves?

With no choice, they departed. The queen used Ignavros as her own personal mount, since she sat on his back and said she would rest while the green dragon carried her there. He headed toward the mountains that divided the continent, where some dwarven societies also existed.

I saw what happened in Nepal a few days ago and imagined that their fight could do the same thing with all that snow piled up on top of the mountains, and with the Dragon Queen's flames, it should turn all of it into water.
