"Want to stay over?" I loudly yawned just as Gabe's car stopped in front of my house. "You shouldn't drive drunk."

He waved his hand dismissively, "I'm not drunk. I have an appointment in the morning but I could meet you for lunch tomorrow."

"Fine by me," I saluted before I clumsily opened the car door and nearly fell out. "Have you seen my keys?"

"Oh my," Gabe laughed loudly before climbing out his car, walked around it and held me. He led me up the path to my front door.

"You're a good man," I giggled as we attempted to climb the stairs but it seemed I couldn't remember how to lift up my legs.

"You're the size of an elephant Connor!" Gabe struggled to pick me up but seemed to get a good grasp of me as I hopped onto his back.

I sniffed his hair then cooed. "You smell like really nice wood."

"Thank you. You smell like beer and chicken wings," he laughed then grunted as we made it to the last few steps.
