Alex was the one who proposed the idea of fighting the other Guilds alone for 2 reasons.
First is to make sure everyone can save their energy. As for his 2nd reason, it's simply because he wants to have a very exciting battle.
So now that the organizer agrees with Fairy Tail's proposal, they start the last event.
The event location is still the entire Capital City and they will still be teleported to different locations.
Although everyone wants to target Alex, they might have different strategies, like letting others try it first, that's why they are still teleported to different locations.
It's also a way to make it fair for Alex because with this, he can hunt the other teams one by one, not fighting them all at once.
At least that's what the organizer considered, but Alex doesn't want to fight them one by one. He wants to fight all of them at once.
That's why as soon as he is teleported, he transforms his right hand into Matatabi's hand and shoots a big fireball into the sky.
The fireball explodes before turning into a big arrow sign that points down right onto him.
Everyone is alerted by the explosion sound and looks at the arrow. They immediately know that it must be Alex who created that fire arrow because no one else here has such a strong Fire Magic.
So they quickly move toward the giant fire arrow location. Although as expected, some of them plan to observe the situation first.
While they think that Alex is really arrogant to challenge all of them alone, they know that Alex is strong. Most of them know that if they attack Alex first, they'll be defeated quickly.
Even with their reserve members joining their teams, they are still not sure if just their team alone can defeat Alex.
That's why some of them plan to let the others attack Alex first and tire him out before they attack.
It will be a good strategy if only all the teams don't have the same plan or if Alex doesn't expect it.
But all of them have the same plan. Even Jura and Ultear don't want to be the 1st to attack Alex because they know the other teams will take advantage of that.
All of them are hiding in nearby buildings around Alex's location in a small plaza that has a small fountain with a knight statue on it.
Alex is standing on the statue while sensing his surroundings. He has sensed that the other teams have arrived and hide nearby, but he doesn't say anything until he's sure that all of them are here.
"All of you have come here, so why are you hiding now? I didn't propose this idea just to play hide and seek with you. What I want is fighting all of you at once, so you better come out here to fight me and give your all."
Alex grins as his skin starts to peel off, revealing dark red parts beneath.
Those who watch it are surprised, until they realize those aren't blood and muscles. Alex is simply transforming into a form they've never seen before.
"Don't tell me, he is transforming into that?" Laxus frowns while looking at the floating magic screen.
Both Laxus and Makarov can still remember what happened years ago when Kurama was unsealed. Alex lost control of his power and transformed into an unrecognizable beast that seems to be covered in blood aura.
Just like back then, Alex is transforming into Kurama's Jinchuriki Mode Version 2 with all 9 Tails activated.
He crouches on the knight statue with his dark red bloody-like body, hollow white eyes and mouth, also a fox skeletal structure on his back.
His form makes many people shiver in fear because it looks ominous and looks more like a demonic transformation than a magical beast transformation.
Though for the opponent Mages, they are more worried about what kind of abilities Alex can use in this beast form because they've never seen it before.
"If you don't come to me, then I'll come to you." Alex grins as his tails flail around.
The dark red tails suddenly extend and move everywhere, hitting the nearby buildings, destroying them very easily.
Alex knocks down the buildings the other players use to hide, forcing them to come out.
"Now, let's start the party." Alex stands up and looks at the other players with a grin that looks very sinister because of his scary appearance.
"You really are a battle maniac, aren't you?" Ultear makes the first move.
She controls the water on the fountain beneath Alex. The water turns blackish before floating up quickly and forms a big sphere that submerges Alex inside.
Then, she freezes the water, forming a black ice sphere with Alex trapped inside.
When the black ice is formed, a pair of giant rock hands emerge from the ground. Jura creates them and then he controls them to slam on the frozen black water as strong as he can.
The giant rock hand clap shatters the frozen black water along with the fountain, sending black ice and concrete shards everywhere.
Everyone waits to see what happens. Some even expect that Alex is crushed by that because he didn't dodge.
But suddenly, 9 dark red tails pierce out of the giant rock hands before shattering them. Alex comes out of the combined attack unscathed. He just stands on the rubble like nothing happened.
"Done testing me?"
With that short question from Alex, everyone finally starts attacking him too. They are wary of each other, but they can only think of defeating the other participants once they defeat Alex.
A pair of rock hands also catch his feet. They are from Jura to make sure he can't move.
"IMMOBILIZE HIM AND ATTACK HIM WITH YOUR LONG-RANGE SPELLS!" Jura shouts to give everyone a simple instruction which they agreed immediately because right now their priority is defeating Alex.
Ultear orders Kagura to use her Gravity Magic to pin him down and on another side, Yukino also summons Libra to do the same.
Hoteye helps Jura immobilize Alex by wrapping more rocks around Alex's legs.
Then after a while, everyone starts shooting their strong long-range attacks.
The 3 Dragon Slayers and 3 God Slayers in this event immediately shoot their signature spells, Dragon Roars and God Bellows.
Sting, Rogue, and Cobra from Heaven's Runners who is a reserve member because their Guild wants to give Yukino a chance to play are the 3 Dragon Slayers.
The 3 God Slayers are Ultear, Orga, and Sherria. They didn't discuss anything, but they suddenly used the similar spells on Alex right away.
It's not only the 6 different elemental beams that are coming from different sides toward him, but also different spells from the other Mages.
The explosions caused by their combined attacks are so strong that the shockwaves even push away the rubble from the destroyed buildings.
Even the people in the stadium and those who have been evacuated for this event in a far away location can hear the sound of the explosions.
Then after the combined attack, Jura suddenly uses the spell he used at the MPF event in the series, Rumbling Mount Fuji to create a massive explosion from the ground beneath Alex.
Everyone is sure that with such a firepower, Alex would have gotten defeated. But those who know Alex well like Jura, Ultear, and Lyon are still on alert. They even tell their teammates to not let their guards down.
As they thought, Alex is fine. He wraps his tails around his body, forming a ball with the tails protecting him from their attacks.
The ground where he stands is devastated. A big and deep hole is created by the Mages' attacks, but Alex is unscathed.
Everyone shivers when Alex unwraps his tails and looks at them with his scary hollow white eyes and sinister grin.
These Mages often fought evil people in their missions, but they are still scared by Alex's stare that seems to be piercing directly into their souls.
"HE'S COMING!" Cobra suddenly shouts. He can hear others' thoughts, that's why he knows that Alex is about to move.
Alex's first target is the Quatro Puppy team. He reaches them instantly, as if teleporting. But he just moves too fast.
With a swipe of his tail, he takes out their 4 members and the 1 reserve member. Then with his left hand, he grabs Bacchus's neck and lifts him up before the man even realizes that he has stood in front of him.
"I heard what you said when you were about to fight Elfman. You wanted to make Mira and Lisanna sleep with you if you defeat Elfman, right? Well, I know my girl and her sister are beautiful, and many people have a crush on them. But I don't appreciate such blatant disrespect. People are not objects of betting. Next time you want to make a bet, use your money or other objects, not people."
Alex takes off his hand from Bacchus's neck, but at almost the same moment, he punches Bacchus in the stomach using the same hand. Sending him flying through many buildings and knocking him out.
His movement is so fast that it seems like he has 2 left hands. The others who see it finally realize that Alex is a much more difficult opponent than they thought.
Many of them were still thinking of holding back before to save energy to keep fighting after defeating Alex. But now they know that even if they go all out, they might still can't defeat Alex.
