Mia hadn't slept well all night, and she looked exhausted when she came downstairs in the morning.
She made herself a cup of coffee early in the morning. She was drinking it by the coffee machine when she suddenly heard Isabella say from behind, "Cousin, Ethan is here."
Isabella sometimes called Ethan "Mr. Matthews," but when she was close to him, she called him "Ethan."
She turned around and saw Ethan standing about three meters away from her.
Isabella was considerate and left after making the announcement.
She leaned against the kitchen counter, put down her coffee, and smiled slightly at Ethan. "Why did you come so early?"
"Your mom told me she already told William about your health condition." Ethan's face didn't look good; it was a bit green and a bit white, but he asked her softly.
She answered honestly, "Mom made this decision without telling me."
