Assistant Tina, who had taken over Claire's position, gently knocked on the office door.
She held a steaming cup of coffee in her hand and didn't turn her head. "Come in."
Tina walked in with a stack of documents and said, "Miss Collins, these are the plans and reports you need to review and make decisions on this month..."
Mia nodded at Tina. "Put them on the desk!"
Tina silently placed the documents down and prepared to leave.
"If there's anything at the company while I'm away for a month, just call me. If it's urgent, I'll come back immediately."
Tina stopped at the office door. "Okay, Miss Collins."
She continued to look at the rain outside, her eyes gradually becoming dazed.
She spent the whole morning dealing with work before leaving and only had free time around 3:00 p.m.
