Shigure Kira had probably never encountered a situation like this. Not in her wildest dreams could she have imagined someone controlling a Herrscher to go fishing, let alone planning to wipe out a Bubble Universe.
Still, the young woman was a righteous person.
She was already deeply indignant watching two outsiders abruptly murder a "local hero." If she hadn't genuinely sensed the massive gap in their power levels, she probably would have charged in for a good "workout."
Senti-Mobius rubbed her eyes. She was thoroughly fed up with Noldrei's sudden attacks.
"If you're going to pull something like that, at least give me a heads-up."
Looking very apologetic, Noldrei appeared from another direction. He had been hiding nearby, waiting to attack the agent that had just rushed in.
His motto was to strike like lightning.
As it turned out, these agents were on the same level as Sa, foolishly charging in without even considering if they could win against a Herrscher.
"What was that for? Now we can't even ask the next one how to proceed."
Senti complained that Noldrei's attack had been too decisive. While she didn't care much for Sa's agents either, killing one without even asking if it had accomplices... what if there were others? Wouldn't they get away?
To her surprise, Noldrei didn't answer her question right away. Instead, he stood there, silently staring at the character who had been turned to ash by Imaginary Energy.
In truth, Noldrei didn't really have the ability to use Imaginary Energy. He was just recklessly gathering and concentrating the power radiating from the Imaginary Tree.
He was actually pondering another interesting question.
"Little Mei, what do you think... if we sever Sa's connection to the Sea of Quanta, wouldn't that be equivalent to cutting off all her tentacles here?"
The question Noldrei posed wasn't just a random thought. He realized that since he could control Sa, he was confident he could completely cut off her ties to the outside world.
Senti-Mobius said with some doubt, "Is a quantum ability really that easy to sever? It would be best if we could get those agents to cut the connection themselves, just like how Vita betrayed Sa. But what methods could we use to bribe these tentacles? Or rather, what could possibly make them give up?"
But Noldrei shook his head. "We don't need to go through all that trouble. We just need to make Sa abandon them herself. Just now, I had a very interesting idea."
Even with Mobius's memories, Senti was still a talent in her own right. She had never seen such a "confident" person and immediately retorted with cold sarcasm, "Oh? Do tell. I'd love to hear how you plan to make Sa abandon her own tentacles."
"The Honkai is the very tool to sever Sa's tentacles. We don't need to make Sa act voluntarily. We just need to make the Honkai think that Sa's tentacles are a threat to it. We also need to make the tentacles think that the Honkai has indeed found Sa, and through her, them."
This was a plan Noldrei had come up with on the spot. He had even figured out how to use the Cocoon's influence to penetrate the Sea of Quanta.
"You reminded me of something just now. Sa's tentacles are tools for absorbing the energy of Bubble Universes. Each of these agents is Sa's escape route, an essential tool for her planned getaway."
A light gleamed in Noldrei's eyes, the same light that always appeared when he was about to screw someone over.
"But, as you know, these tentacles need to open a door, a transmission channel, to send energy to Sa. This means that if Sa wants to send them a message, she also needs a channel. All we have to do is impersonate Sa and transmit the Honkai anchor point of the Cocoon of Finality to these guys."
"Any tentacle that receives information from the Cocoon of Finality will inevitably assume that Sa has been controlled or eliminated by it. We just need to have these tentacles spread this message among themselves."
"This way, out of fear that the Cocoon of Finality will come after them, all the tentacles will voluntarily sever their connection with Sa. And that will lead to the final result: Sa will lose contact with all her tentacles at once."
Senti-Mobius sucked in a cold breath. Her serpentine face stared at Noldrei in shock, the Herrscher's brain caught in a strange emotional whirlwind.
This guy was planning to inject the poison of Finality directly into their communication channels.
And he was even going to make Sa do the poisoning herself!
He was utterly, rottenly evil.
"Brilliant! Third Brother, you're brilliant!" Senti couldn't help but praise the emperor's world-shaking wisdom. An ordinary person could never come up with such a sinister plan. Even a resurrected Bishop Otto would have to admit defeat.
Tossing Honkai anchors into communication channels... setting aside whether the Bubble Universes could withstand the Honkai or the ultimate fate of the agents...
Just this style of dumping 'nuclear waste' into the Sea of Quanta was enough to prove that Noldrei had a deep and thorough understanding of human civilization.
But was it useful? It was damn useful!
Senti quickly asked, "Then we only have one problem left to solve. How do we control Sa and make her do this for us? And how do we utilize the Cocoon of Finality and get the Honkai to do our bidding?"
Noldrei nodded. "Not a big problem. After we get back, I'll discuss the details with Durandal and Rita. I already have a plan in mind! I guarantee I'll let both the Cocoon of Finality and Sa have a taste of my power."
The Herrscher of Sentience had already become the emperor's loyal dog.
She felt that the Cocoon of Finality was too incompetent; it still hadn't managed to destroy human civilization, while Noldrei could come up with a terrifyingly fearsome plan in minutes.
This was the power of world-shaking wisdom! How could the Cocoon of Finality possibly win? It couldn't!
Compared to Noldrei, the Will of the Honkai was practically an honest Abe!
Hadn't he 'converted' all of them, the Herrschers?
These apostles of the Honkai, whose duty was to bring about world destruction, had all "awakened" after coming into contact with Noldrei. One by one, they had started to think about their own lives, their own selfish interests, and their own futures.
Truly, the world's morals were in decline!
The Herrscher of Sentience sighed with emotion internally, while on the surface, she desperately flattered her Third Brother.
As the two of them loudly conspired against the Honkai and Sa, Shigure Kira's legs went weak with terror.
Who were these two? Why was one talking about Finality and Honkai, and the other about destroying Bubble Universes?
What was their connection to the Eigenworld?
And who was this "Sa" they were talking about?
Question after question popped into Shigure Kira's mind.
Miss Shigure Kira had roamed the Sea of Quanta for five or six years. She carried gifts from outsiders and was herself a veteran of the "tentacle" system.
But these two... one used Honkai Energy, the other used Imaginary Energy. They didn't even give her a chance for close-quarters combat, just unleashing their ultimate moves and instantly obliterating their enemies.
Their combat style could be summed up in two words: Domineeringly Extravagant!
And the thought that a Herrscher could hunt her down to the Sea of Quanta and go on a killing spree terrified Shigure Kira to her very core.
