"The First Great Purge was an event that caused a reorganization in the foundations of the Imperium. The most terrible thing was the number of deaths at the end. Eight billion human lives killed in ten years of rebellion." Thoughts of Tyrion Lannister, First Imperial Counselor.
--------------
A bloodbath appeared on the Sacred Planet, more and more people died every day, all beheaded by force for the entire population to see. The executioner had never worked so hard in his life, because those being killed were not just the heretics, but also the families of the heretics.
Except for the children, all men, women, uncles and aunts, brothers, sisters, cousins, all were beheaded without exception. The children were taken to the Cult of the God Emperor where they would be taught to be good boys and girls...
In the future, these children would only spit on the ground when they heard their own parents' names, showing how terrible the brainwashing of an extremely fanatical and militarized Theological Imperium was.
Of course, the people didn't complain about the waves of murders, they just watched with curiosity. The citizens of Planetos rarely saw anything like this, especially the nobles, who watched everything with morbid pleasure. For them who had everything, rare events were what most caught the attention of these useless nobles.

Although she already knew from Naerys that her father had tested Aegon again, Alysanne was surprised to see the empty space of her brother's sleeve. Not only her, all of Aenar's sons and daughters were shocked to see Aegon's loss of his arm.
"Who did you face?" Jaehaerys, who was a direct person, asked immediately, curious about who Aegon faced to lose an arm. Aegon wasn't weak, except for Alysanne and Naerys, he was in the top 3 strongest among Aenar's children.
How could Aegon say what had happened to him? He wasn't stupid to that extent, especially with a dismembered arm hidden inside his armor. "I don't know, when I entered the heretics' secret base and was ambushed by a group of men whose appearance was covered by black cloaks."
Maegor looked at Aegon with a subtle look, but full of sarcasm. Ambushed by a group of men of unknown origins? In his eyes, this excuse was so bad that a child could do better.
No prince or princess was stupid, they were the crystallization of Aenar's wisdom and all three queens', they always had the best teachers, the best resources, they weren't stupid.
Let's suppose his words were true, why was only Aegon ambushed? What was so valuable in a normal secret base that it would be worth placing men who had the strength to sever an imperial prince's arm?
This was so suspicious that everyone's eyes focused on Aegon with looks of sarcasm, but also curiosity. Although there were lies in Aegon's words, the loss of his arm was real.
It could be said that Aegon was the first prince or princess to be injured so severely to the point of losing an arm. Which was simply unprecedented. As for the possibility that Aegon had done this alone, it never crossed their minds. The reason for this was very simple, what would the people think faced with a situation like this?
All the princes and princesses were fine, only Aegon was injured, and although it could show how brutal the fight was and gain a lot of fame with it, it would also demonstrate that Aegon was the weakest of the group. The gain doesn't outweigh the loss.
Aegon certainly knew this couldn't fool his brothers and sisters, it was even difficult to fool his father, who already knew what was inside the secret base, but he didn't care. Maybe out of guilt or something else, Aegon discovered that his father would ignore most of the wrong things he did.
He clearly took advantage of this and gained many things over the years, including even great power in the Imperial Senate. So, Aegon wasn't worried about being held accountable and didn't even elaborate a credible excuse for his brothers and sisters. Whether they accepted it or not, he didn't care.
Aegon hadn't noticed yet, but everything that comes for free usually costs more dearly, the price for Aenar to turn a blind eye to his small conspiracies would come at the right time.
Suddenly, when Maegor was about to press Aegon for more answers, a small figure appeared around them. Everyone looked at Naerys with gentle smiles, except Aegon, who frowned, seeing her.
"The Emperor has declared martial law." As soon as Naerys' words sounded, everyone's eyes widened with a touch of disbelief and confusion. "This organization has started a large-scale rebellion in the Imperium."
Even Alysanne, who was usually calm, couldn't help but show a cold murderous intent. Not only her, everyone, including Naerys herself showed cold and murderous expressions.
The Imperium belonged to House Targaryen, and the word rebellion was a sensitive topic for everyone, there was even a period when House Targaryen didn't sit on the old Iron Throne! If it weren't for their father's emergence, it was unknown whether Rhaella, Daenerys and Visenya would have been able to sit on the Iron Throne.
So, everyone was really full of murderous intentions, they wouldn't allow mere rats to actually threaten the stability of the Imperium.
"The Emperor has already ordered all the Dukes, accompanied by the Imperial Fists Legions and Sons of the Emperor, to begin cleaning the Imperium and purging all heretics. The Cult of the God Emperor will assist at all times in the search for heretics." Naerys explained with a cold and deadly tone, the sweet and gentle Naerys was only for family and no one else. At that moment, she really wanted to destroy a planet to vent the anger she was feeling.
Looking at her brothers and sisters, especially at Aegon, who had his arm severed, she spoke again. "The Emperor has ordered that all princes and princesses also participate in the Great Purge. You will act as deputy generals on the battlefield."
"Our Imperial Father has only one order for you. KILL." Naerys finished with a terribly cold tone. Her tumultuous emotions made the air around her seem oppressive and extremely threatening.
Including Alysanne, everyone looked at the little girl with a touch of solemnity. It was the first time they had seen this side of the delicate and fragile Naerys. Alysanne could stand well before the girl's crushing pressure, but the same couldn't be said for the others.
They felt they were seeing an extremely large shadow pressing them to the point where they couldn't look into Naerys' eyes.
Looking at the delicate and fragile Naerys, whom he had never taken seriously, really being so powerful, made Aegon's jealousy rise to extremely high levels. In his eyes, Naerys had this power because his father was partial and strengthened Naerys with blood magic.
If he had this power, would he have difficulty becoming a crown prince? At least in his eyes, there was no possibility of him losing to Alysanne in everything they did. Unfortunately, he didn't have such power.
Aegon just looked at Naerys with a cold look and hid his ugly feelings in the deepest part of his being. But he was constantly thinking that Naerys had slept with Aenar to get such power.
If Alysanne or Naerys knew Aegon's malicious and jealous thoughts, he probably would have lost his other arm or a leg.
"Go prepare, we will meet at Visenya's Wall." Alysanne said with a solemn tone. She didn't expect this mere organization to be so powerful, but thinking it was a thousand-year-old organization, accumulating more and more power over the years, she felt it slightly reasonable.
She didn't believe that The True Humans had no relations with the nobles, because it was simply impossible for this organization to grow without support. Alysanne began to suspect the nobles, especially the dukes.
Although the nobles weren't so militarily powerful, this because of the Imperium's laws, she knew that power had many forms, including money and knowledge. This made her suspect the nobles, because the news reached the heretical organization too quickly.
In Alysanne's mind, a measure to weaken the nobles began to formulate in her mind. She was already tired of having to put up with these useless and greedy nobles. Before the Imperial Senate, she would propose an Imperial Law.
No one said anything against Alysanne's orders, they quickly separated and went to prepare everything for their departure.
"What happened to Aegon." Looking at Naerys, who remained beside her, Alysanne asked with a curious tone.
A smile appeared on Naerys' lips, she looked at Aegon's back and spoke with a mysterious tone. "A test from our imperial father for his beloved son."
"It seems he failed the test." Alysanne commented with a laugh, seeing Aegon's ugly expression was quite pleasant. As for the test, she didn't ask anything.
Naerys nodded her head and said with an elegant smile. "And failed miserably, our imperial father didn't hide the disappointment on his face."
Alysanne couldn't help but click her tongue in admiration at Aegon's stupidity. It was rare for the Emperor to show any reaction of disappointment regarding his sons and daughters, showing that Aegon had really failed miserably in the test.
"Be careful with Aegon, Sister, he has the scent of chaos in his soul." Leaving these words, Naerys disappeared again, leaving Alysanne thoughtful.
Remembering the conversation she heard a thousand years ago, Alysanne's face became somber. Although she didn't like Aegon, he was still her brother, whom she had seen grow up and spent long hours together with.
"Aegon, our father is really partial to you, he loves you despite you being an irreparable failure." Alysanne murmured and walked toward her room in the Imperial Palace.
